Abstract: A leadership support system includes a leader terminal and plural member terminals. The member terminals, according to either the relay of communication information not addressed thereto or the reception of communication information addressed thereto, send back a response to the appropriate communication information. The leader terminal determines, based on the times of relaying the communication information, whether or not the member terminal that transmitted the communication information is in danger of isolation. When the leader terminal determines the member terminal in danger of isolation, it outputs a warning signal indicative of a ranger of isolation to that member terminal.

Abstract: A method for establishing a cyclic shift sequence to provide against the frequency offset is disclosed. The method calculates a distance between a channel response position of the sequence and an alias channel response position caused by a frequency offset, calculates the number of cyclic shifts per group according to the calculated distance, and establishes the cyclic shift (CS)-applying interval. This method easily establishes a cyclic shift (CS) interval at a specific location having no overlapping by considering a channel response of a reception (Rx) sequence and an alias location of this reception (Rx) sequence, although a reception (Rx) signal is shifted by a channel delay spreading or a propagation delay irrespective of categories of a domain generating a sequence, so that it can greatly reduce the number of the detection errors and the false alarm rate.

Abstract: The basic idea of the present invention is to not only design a frequency-selective precoder with respect to the channel properties but also to ensure that the time-domain spread is limited. Hence the energy of the time-domain impulse response of the frequency-selective precoder is concentrated. According to a first embodiment, the time-domain spread is limited by designing a precoder such that it allows smooth transitions in the frequency domain between the values of the precoder when the precoder provides a staircase function. The smooth transitions can either be achieved by lowpass filtering the frequency-domain representation, the staircase function, of the precoder or by designing the precoder such that the sharp jumps are replaced by slopes. According to a second embodiment, the time-domain spread is controlled. The control may be achieved by employing a time-domain parameterization to precisely control the introduced additional time-domain spread.

For example, information carried over a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), may be protected by frequency division multiplexing (FDM) partitioning. In fact, one UL subframe may correspond to eNBs of multiple power classes. Since TDM partitioning may be required for DL transmissions, one DL sub frame may not correspond to the eNBs of multiple power classes. For some embodiments, groups of subframes may be allocated to the different power classes. Abstract: A method for pairing user terminals in the MU-MIMO system comprises: a base station sets pairing parameters; the base station receives report information of a user terminal, and sets parameter identifiers according to the set pairing parameters and the report information; and after determining that the user terminal which reported the report information is a user terminal to be paired, the base station determines a user terminal paired with the user terminal to be paired according to the set parameter identifiers. A device for pairing user terminals in the MU-MIMO system comprises a parameter setting unit, a parameter identifier setting unit and a pairing performing unit. Under the precondition of considering the path loss condition of the user terminals, the present invention combines with the path condition of the user terminals to pair the user terminals, which can relieve the influences of the interference on the pairing result to a certain extent, and improve the performance of the MU-MIMO system.

Abstract: A repeater receives and repeats, on a multi-site channel, a sequence of control and media transmissions included in a session, wherein the session has a plurality of participants. While repeating these transmissions, the repeater further detects, from at least one of the transmissions, a start of the session and a type of the session. Based on the type of the session, the repeater determines whether to perform an arbitration during the session to control access to the multi-site channel, and restricts each performed arbitration to only transmissions received from the participants to the session. In addition, after repeating at least one of the control transmissions, the repeater sets a hang time having a duration that is determined based on a type of the transmission preceding the setting of the hang time.

Abstract: In a radio communication network having one or more active cells, a basic idea is to request (S1) signal strength measurements in an area of at least one passive other cell of a radio base station currently not transmitting any cell-defining information for the passive cell. Based on received information representative of the requested signal strength measurements, at least one passive cell is selected (S2) for activation, and the selected cell is then requested to be activated (S3) by causing the corresponding radio base station managing the selected cell to start transmission of cell-defining information to assist user equipment in finding the cell. In this way the invention allows cells to stay passive for as long as possible to reduce power consumption, and allows passive cells to be activated when needed to ensure satisfactory communication services for the users.
