The operator also includes an elongate rail having a first end which is held by a support structure disposed adjacent and above the door with the rail including a pulley located adjacent the first end. The rail also includes a second end for being held adjacent to and in alignment with the drive wheel. The operator also includes a drive belt assembly for training about the drive wheel and the pulley and for being supported by the rail. The belt assembly includes a length of a plastic belt with teeth on one surface thereof matching the teeth on the drive wheel.

    Abstract: A rotating member such as a sprocket to be coupled with a shaft is formed with a fitting bore which extends on the center axis and opens at at least one of its axial end portions. The shaft is inserted into and coupled with the fitting bore held in the case such that it can rotate integrally with the rotating member. This rotating member is formed with an air communication portion for providing communication between the inside and outside of the fitting bore and equipped with a valve for opening or closing the air communication portion. The valve may be opened in response to the rise or drop in the internal pressure of a fitting bore, by the pressure of the shaft or by a centrifugal force. With the valve being closed, lubrication oil in the case is prevented from leaking.

    Abstract: A debris deflector for a motorcycle which employs a belt drive for the rear wheel includes a deflector plate positioned between the motorcycle swing arm and the tire. The deflector is located between the runs of the belt. The deflector includes an indentation in the area of the swing arm, an upper portion which extends below the upper run of the belt and extends beyond the outer edge thereof and a lower portion below the swing arm which terminates inwardly of the inner edge of the lower run. The debris deflector of the present invention may also include a tab extending across and spaced apart from the front edge of the tire and may further include a flexible flap attached to the fender of the motorcycle which extends downwardly from the front edge of the fender and passes between the tab and the wheel.

    Abstract: A multi-mode copying or reproduction apparatus. The apparatus includes a movable, overlong flexible photoconductive belt having image exposure, developing, transfer and cleaning stations operatively disposed about the belt circumference. A raster scanner capable of both writing and reading images on the belt segment laying between the vacuum chambers is provided, together with an auxiliary belt driver for moving the aforementioned belt segment at a speed compatible with that of the raster scanner. An auxiliary charging device, and operators for disengaging selected xerographic components permit selective processing of images written or read by the raster scanner.

    Abstract: The guard retains the cable on a pulley of a cable control system that indes another pulley mounted on a pivotable radius arm for swingable movement relative to it. Usually, the swingable pulley is linked to a third pulley mounted on a hinged structural member which itself swings with the radius arm to and from `closed` or `open` positions. When the arc is wide, i.e. around 180.degree., conventionally mounted guards engage and bind the swinging cable. The present guard is an elongate member pivotally mounted on the radius arm. In the `closed` position, a retaining flange formed on the guard moves for cable retaining purposes into close proximity with the fixed pulley and the proximity or clearance can be adjustably fixed and locked by an eccentric stop. During the `opening` swing, the cable engages the guard which then pivots sufficiently to prevent the undesired binding. The pivotal range of the guard is restricted by a pin and slot arrangement.
