Retractable Portion Patents (Class 49/189)
  • Patent number: 8113668
Abstract: A portable material exhibiting apparatus comprises a base assembly having a pivoting base, the pivoting base being disposed on one side of the base assembly; a retractable rod assembly having one end pivoting to the pivoting base; and an image capturing module having one end pivoting to the other end of the retractable rod assembly. Therefore, when carrying the portable material exhibiting apparatus, the image capturing module may rotate to be parallel with the retractable rod assembly. The retractable rod assembly may shorten its length and rotate to be parallel with the base assembly. Via this arrangement, the spaced occupied by the portable material exhibiting apparatus is reduced greatly.

  • Patent number: 7481026
Abstract: A new and improved window assembly includes a window frame, and a window sash having an open-tilted and a closed position. The window sash has pivot pins that engage kidney shaped receptacles located on the window frame. The kidney shaped receptacles permit movement of the window sash into the open-tilted or closed position. The design of the present invention minimizes the parts needed to assemble the window assembly making such a window assembly cheaper to manufacture and easier to assemble.

  • Patent number: 5426892
Abstract: A sliding element slidable on trolleys along a rail comprises a swing door swivellably suspended on a top frame strip and having, in a bottom frame strip (6') an anchoring device having a hinge stud (16) which can be lowered to engage with a receiving bush rotatably anchored in the floor. The hinge stud (16) is formed on a wedge-shaped hinge part (17) of metal which is guided for vertical sliding on a guide section (18) in the bottom frame strip (6') and engages slidably along a slide section (19) with a matching section (22) of a likewise wedge-shaped lowering part (23) of plastics material. Said lowering part is provided, in a recess (24), with a driving nut (25) which engages through a self-locking thread connection with a lowering bolt (27) which is positively connected by way of a bevel gear unit (29) to an operating pin (30) suitable for engagement of a hexagon socket key. A torque-limiting claw clutch may be inserted between the bevel gear unit ( 29) and the lowering bolt (27).

  • Patent number: 5423144
Abstract: A window including sliding and pivoted panes with a first lateral section and a second lateral section. An upper U-shape guide with a detachable leaf and a lower U-shape guide with a detachable leaf are provided. Central separating sections are positioned in the lower U-shaped guide. The central separating sections are removable from the lower U-shape guide, the panes sliding in the upper U-shaped guide and the lower U-shaped guide on each side of the separating section. Inserted sections are provided connected to each of upper and lower edges of the pane, each of the inserted sections have rolling components and have a semi-shaft movable between a retracted position within one of the inserted sections and a protruded position. Each of the guides have drilled holes for receiving the semi-shaft in the protruded position. A device is provided for moving the semi-shaft between the retracted position and the protruded position.

  • Patent number: 4222201
Abstract: A structural panel, such as a window or door sash which is mounted for horizontal sliding movement between a pair of tracks forming its frame and which is pivotable about a vertical axis extending through a pair of apertures in the tracks. The sash is supported for movement along the tracks by respective carriers located adjacent each corner of the sash. The sash includes releasable locking means located within one stile and a pair of pivot assemblies located in the other stile. Each pivot assembly includes a rod which is extendable vertically through an aligned carrier and into the aperture in the associated track. The carrier into which the rods extend includes a rotatable mount to enable the sash to be pivoted out of the frame when the releasable locking means is released.
