Abstract: A portable, foldable yoga mat/meditation mat includes a plurality of linear indentations so that the mat can be folded into various sizes and used in various aspects. For example, when the mat is unfolded along all linear indentations (i.e., in a completely unfolded state), the mat could be used as a typical yoga mat. When the mat is folded along some but not all linear indentations, the mat could be used as a comfortable meditation or sitting mat. When the mat is folded along all linear indentations, the folded mat becomes a portable sized block which can be easily carried in either customized or non-customized carriers and conveniently stored with other regular shaped items.

Abstract: An exercise mat system and a method of using the same are disclosed. The exercise mat system includes an exercise mat including an upper surface, and a plurality of visual markers positioned on the upper surface of said mat, where the relative positioning of the visual markers correlates to a user's body parts and distances between the user's body parts.

Abstract: A diaper bag having an integral changing pad is disclosed which comprises a bag having an interior compartment with the bag having a top portion and a bottom portion, a cover for covering the interior compartment with the cover attached to the top portion for folding the cover over the top portion of the bag, and a changing pad having a first section connected to a second section and the second section connected to the bottom portion with the first section and the second section for being folded up in the interior compartment or unfolded out of the interior compartment.

Abstract: A quilt-style sleeping bag including clip, buckles, snaps, hook and loop material, buttons or any other suitable attachment means secured with the bag proximate the left and right longitudinal edges of the bag that are adapted to cooperatively couple with a cord, strap, string, rope or cable (hereafter collectively referred to as “cords”) that extends widthwise across a sleeping pad is described. The clips in conjunction with the complimentary cords permit a user to secure the left and right edges of the bag to the top side of the sleeping pad and furthermore, hold the edges of the bag against the top side of the sleeping pad. Accordingly, the ability of the edges to lift up and permit cold air to enter the interior volume of the bag and the pad combination is minimized, despite normal movements of a user during sleep.

Abstract: A seating pad assembly is provided for use by travelers to increase the comfort for a seat on a public transportation vehicle or at a public transit terminal. A system and method for ordering the seating pad assembly for a transportation seat includes at least one terminal configured for entering an identifier indicative of a type of transportation seat purchased, e.g., a class of service; a server configured for receiving the identifier, determining dimensions of the seating pad assembly based on the identifier, and generating an order to acquire the determined seating pad assembly; and a communications network for coupling the at least one terminal and the server. The terminal may be configured in the form of a computer, a kiosk or a mobile terminal. The system will allow a purchaser of a transportation seat to either purchase or rent the seating pad assembly.

The fall mat further includes a second padded body including a second top surface, a second bottom surface, and a second connecting side including a second step. Moreover, the fall mat includes a hinge connecting the first padded body with the second padded body such that the second padded body is configured to rotate about the first padded body. The first step and the second step interlock when the first top surface and the second top surface of the first padded body and the second padded body are in a co-planar position.

Abstract: Disclosed is an infant lap support comprising an infant support panel having a first edge and a second edge, a leg attachment member having two or more attachment points, wherein a first attachment point is attached to the first edge of the infant support panel and wherein a second attachment point is attached to a first fastener, and a second fastener attached to a second edge of the infant support panel, wherein the first fastener and the second fastener are configured to be selectively fastened to each other around the legs of a user.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a foam pad containing far-infrared and/or ion generating particles and method for producing such foam material. The method for producing the foam pad consists of mixing fine particles of a far-infrared and/or ion emitting stone into the base material prior to further processing such as forming, molding or extruding the material. Alternatively, the fine particles of far-infrared and/or ion generating stone may be mixed with an adhesive and used as a coating on the foam pad. The stone generating far-infrared radiation and/or ions is preferably from the group consisting of tourmaline, granite porphyry, quartz porphyry, zeolite, perlite, serpentine, or mixture thereof.

Abstract: A modular beach towel with an integral anchoring means designed to help keep the towel from blowing away while in use comprising additional enhancements is herein disclosed. The beach towel further comprises a plurality of grommets located along corner and perimeter areas. Each grommet receives a stake, thereby holding the beach towel down to a ground surface. The beach towel is fabricated of a layered textile assembly with internal cushioning, further having a removable protective waterproof mat and an attachable food and drink holder. The beach towel apparatus also comprises reflective zippered pouches at each corner position that provide storage of personal items as well as aiding in identifying the towel from a distance. The corner pouches may also be loaded with sand or weights to provide additional anchoring.

Abstract: An insulating construction having a multi-layer synthetic core for use in products such as sleeping bags is provided. A sleeping bag using this construction may include a synthetic core having first and second layers, an inner lining adjacent to the first layer, and an outer shell adjacent to the second layer. The synthetic core may be contained within the inner lining and outer shell. The first layer may be constructed of a first material having a first denier; and the second layer may be constructed of a second material having a second denier larger than the first denier. The inner liner may define an inner space configured to accommodate a human body. Various other products made from this construction, such as jackets, pants, and other garments, are also provided.

Abstract: The luggage attachable cushion device sections are held together with pliable hinges at the folding lines for wrapping the device around average carry on luggage. Two full-length cloth straps tie sections together lengthwise and wrap around an existing luggage. The strap ends fasten together at the top of the luggage using hook and loop. When unfolded, the device makes a bed, a chair cushion, or can cushion other surfaces as desired. The mat is removably attached to the folding blanket that can be used to further cushion or to cover a user as decided. The device may be especially sized to fit around carry-on luggage so that a user can more conveniently travel.

Abstract: A play system for children, includes a playmat constructed and dimensioned so as to be foldable from a flat condition for normal use as a mat, to a folded condition defining a receptacle; and a plurality of play pieces for use on the playmat when in its flat condition, and adapted to be received within the receptacle defined by the playmat when in its folded condition. The playmat, and at least some of the play pieces, include mateable fastener elements for releasably retaining the play pieces on the playmat when in its flat condition. Fastener elements are located on the playmat at preselected locations thereon to thereby locate and stabilize the play pieces carrying mateable fastener elements at the preselected locations.

Abstract: A prayer cushion for use during Islamic ritual prayers to reduce pain and black marks on an individual's knees and ankles comprises a generally rectangular pad of hollow polyester fibers with a soft cotton layer on top of the hollow polyester fibers. The pad has a width of about 50 cm, a length of 25 to about 50 cm and an thickness of about 14 cm. The pad also defines two relatively short longitudinally extending floor engaging channels extending from a rear edge of the cushion and is adapted to receive a portion of an individual's foot therein. The channels also have a height of about 8 cm and width of about 12 cm and extend for a length that will accommodate a portion of an individual's foot.

Abstract: An eco-friendly exercise mat cover for an exercise mat comprises a rectangular envelop made from a material with specific characteristics which renders the cover-mat combination useable in various environmental conditions. The cover comprises an opening flap for easy placement and removal of the mat. In an alternative embodiment, the exercise mat cover includes a carrying bag which may be used to conveniently transport the cover-mat combination.

The compressible region of flexible fiber may be configured to be depressed in a compressed configuration to provide support and traction. The mat or the towel may be further adapted to form a grip apparatus.

Abstract: A multi-layered protective barrier that comprises a top side and a bottom side. The bottom side is comprised of a polyurethane laminated (PUL) fabric and is intended to contact an outdoor support surface such as grass or soil, and to protect the user and the blanket from attracting dirt or absorbing moisture. The top side is intended to contact the user and is comprised of a soft cotton or wool material. Between the top and bottom side layers is an interior core stuffed with batting filler to provide increased cushion and separation between the top and bottom side. In use the multi-layered barrier provides an outdoor blanket or covering that is comfortable and durable. The blanket can also be folded in half and fastened together, improving transportability, as well as provide the user with a seat cushion or baby diaper changing platform. The entire assembly is machine-washable and machine-dryable.

Abstract: An integrated padded mesh material may be used in pillows or pillowcases for improved air flow around a user of the pillow or pillowcase during rest. When used in a pillow, the material may substantially cover the side of the pillow that a user's head rests upon. Other materials, such as mesh and satin materials, may be used to complete construction of the pillow. The pillow may take on familiar shapes, such as a dog. When the integrated padded mesh material is used in a pillowcase the pillowcase may be wrapped around a conventional pillow to increase air flow during rest. The pillowcase may include several layers such as the integrated padded mesh material and an allergy-blocking fabric.

Abstract: A sports mat includes a first foam layer, a second foam layer laminated on the first foam layer and a patterned laminate bonded on the second foam layer. The first and second foam layers are both made of polyethylene foam containing material of elastic resin and have a density in the range of 2 to 8 pcf and a total thickness in the range of 2 to 8 mm. In addition, the first foam layer is embossed therebottom with a plurality of elongated ridges parallel to one another. The patterned laminate includes a first plastic film laminated to the second foam layer, a second plastic film laminated to the first plastic film, and a pattern placed in between the first and second plastic films and visible through the second plastic film. Additionally, the pattern laminate together with the second foam layer is embossed to define a plurality of concaves in an exterior surface thereof.

The first layer is held in a substantially fixed position relative to the second layer. The mat is particularly suitable for use as a helicopter landing mat, in conditions where dust, sand, snow, water or other particles or liquids might otherwise cause a disturbance resulting in loss of visibility, damage or wear to parts of the helicopter, and injury or damage to nearby people or equipment.

In this manner, a user always remains “on” the mat unlike traditional exercise mats. The improved exercise mat may comprise a resilient material having a shape configured to prevent direct contact with the floor. The shape may be non-rectangular to save material and space, and may be continuous or a single piece. In one embodiment, the shape has portions that correspond to locations where a user's body would ordinarily contact the floor during a physical activity. Abstract: A seating pad assembly is provided for use by travelers to increase the comfort for a seat on a public transportation vehicle or at a public transit terminal. The seating pad assembly includes a cushion formed from a viscoelastic foam and having dimensions substantially conforming to the dimensions of at least the hip/thigh support and the back support of the seat. Thus, the viscoelastic foam will bridge hard points and pinch points of the seat and will efficiently support the traveler across the gap. The seating pad assembly further includes a removable cover, straps for holding the pad in a coiled condition and a carrying bag for transporting the pad assembly.

Abstract: A baby changing duffel includes a changing pad formed of resilient material, sized and shaped to serve as a changing surface for either an infant or a toddler. The pad is covered with a removable, washable cover. The cover is sized and shaped to fit over the changing pad and has an inner changing surface and an outer surface. An upper pouch is attached adjacent to an upper end of the outer surface. A retaining sleeve is attached to a lower end of the cover and encloses a folded portion of the pad and cover. The side pockets have interior compartments and are attached at the edges of the outer surface of the cover. The side pockets are folded over the inner changing surface for transport. A carrying handle extends between side edges of the cover and is located to support the duffel when folded to fit the retaining sleeve.

A pillow-forming section is one of the sections, at a first end of the pad. The pillow-forming section has fabric defining the pocket. The pillow-forming section may be openable towards an opposing second end of the pad. A stowage section is one of the sections. The stowage section has a first storage volume. The stowage section may have a second storage volume. The opened pillow-forming section may receive the remaining folded sections folded and inserted to form the pillow. The pad may fold such that the pillow-forming section receives the remaining or residual folding sections tucked into the pocket to form the pillow. The folding sections may include a first middle section, and may include an adjacent second middle section.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a resilient foam pad that is integrated into the bottom exterior of a tool bag. More specifically, the invention relates to maximizing the inter-compatibility of a tool bag and a highly portable foam pad. The upper surface of the foam pad is adorned with a nylon loop fastener attracting carpet. Attached to the bottom side of the tool bag is a nylon hook fastener lining. The tool bag is designed to offer storage and detachment of the foam pad without having to open the tool bag compartment. Alternative embodiments of the foam pad would include a rubber sealed version for use in wet conditions.

Abstract: A lightweight, gas-filled, highly insulative material is incorporated into an article of outdoor gear or apparel (e.g., a camping pad). The insulative material has a layered cellular structure that can be filled with an insulative gas (e.g., air or argon). The insulative material includes two or more layers of cells, which improves insulation (compared to a single layer) by reducing convection for a given thickness. Increasing the thickness without substantially increasing convection results in a better insulator and an improvement in the ability to retain heat.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for fabricating an anti-fatigue mat that employs a layer of resilient gel material that exhibits a first durometer. The method employs a frame assembly that receives a flexible support sheet. The frame assembly includes an aperture that receives a layer of heated liquid gel which cools to form the layer of resilient gel material exhibiting the first durometer. In one embodiment, a barrier layer exhibiting a second durometer is situated on the gel layer that exhibits the first durometer. In one embodiment, the barrier layer prevents the flow of oils from the gel layer to a flexible base sheet disposed on the barrier layer. In another embodiment, the flexible base sheet may exhibit a second durometer. In either embodiment, the layers exhibiting the first and second durometer cooperate to influence the feel of the mat to the user.

The strap may further assist in the execution and/or maintaining of a select body position (e.g., a stretch, yoga pose, or Pilates pose). The strap may further serve to secure the cushion portion to the traditional exercise mat, thereby causing the supplemental mat to also serve as a carrier for the traditional exercise mat.

Abstract: A bed-like apparatus particularly for use at the beach comprising a large rectangular padded section with an integral pillow is herein disclosed. The pillow section can be rolled and secured with fasteners into a large torus-shaped roll allowing a user to lie in a prone position comfortably. The apparatus comprises a water-resistant material affixed to a lower surface and a terrycloth type material along a top surface similar in size to a beach towel, further comprising an integral pocket and a beverage holder. A carrying handle and straps are used for ease of transportation while providing a large water-resistant storage compartment along an external surface for storage of sunscreen, food, books, refreshments, and the like.

Abstract: A multilayered personal exercise mat having at least one gel-containing layer. The gel-containing layer may include microspheres. The mat may include a flap with reinforced apertures that allow the mat to be suspended from hooks for storage. The mat may also include a security device to limit the loss of such mats from fitness facilities. Other embodiments of the mat may include a skirt for engaging the sides of an aerobic step bench on which the mat has been placed. Carriers for the mats are also disclosed.

The diaper changing article preferably has a polygonal shape, such as a square, when folded closed.

Abstract: An apparatus for placement under a sleeping bag useful in leveling or controlling the attitude of the sleeping bag includes a plurality of chambers, some of which extend along a longitudinal length of the leveling camping pad with respect to each other, and wherein some of which are adjacent to each other and extend along a width of the apparatus, and wherein the width is perpendicular with respect to the length, and wherein at least four of the plurality of chambers include a valve for adding or removing air from each of the chambers without affecting a quantity of air in the remaining chambers. A preferred modification includes a continuous upper chamber that extends over the plurality of chambers.
