Abstract: A blanket suspender assembly for suspending a blanket around pants of a user includes a blanket and a suspender. A strip is coupled along a full length of a top edge of the blanket. The strip is a first portion of a hook and loop fastener. The suspender comprises of a pair of straps. Each strap of the pair of straps has a front hinge and a back hinge. The suspender is placed on the shoulders of a user where the front fringe of each strap is positioned in front of the user and the back fringe of each strap is positioned behind the user. A plurality of tabs is coupled to a respective one of each front hinge and each back hinge. Each of the tabs is the second portion of the hook and loop fastener. Each of the tabs engages by hook and loop fastening with the strip.

Abstract: Devices and methods that allow for rapid and efficient changing of duvet covers, comprising an upper section and a lower section of washable material that are sized to be larger than a duvet that will be covered and isolated. The upper and lower sections are secured together along a single edge only, and that edge is positioned at the head of the bed. The duvet is placed between the upper and lower sections, isolating and enclosing the duvet, thereby preventing the duvet from becoming exposed while the bed is in use, and simultaneously allowing for easy and rapid changing of the duvet cover after use.

A sleeve encircles the mattress and includes an engagement structure on its lower surface. The covering includes a tab which fits beneath the mattress and its support structure and further includes a second engagement structure which faces upwardly to engage the engagement structure on the sleeve. A kit includes just a sleeve and a tab with a structure for engagement to a covering.

The base is flat in one embodiment and has a flange extending perpendicularly thereto in a second embodiment. At least one boss extends out from the at least one base. Each of a plurality of lines is partially redirected by the at least one boss. Each of the plurality of lines includes an attachment portion and a tightening portion. A plurality of attachment devices is fixedly secured to each of the attachment portions for attaching a portion of the bedding periphery to the bedding retention assembly.

In an assembled state of the mattress support, a first connector at one end of the longitudinal bar attaches to a third connector on the outside of the headboard. A second connector at the other end of the longitudinal bar attaches to a fourth connector on the footboard. The middle of the lateral bar connects to the middle of the longitudinal bar. The block legs are attached to the bottom sides of the headboard and footboard. The slats are attached to one another by fabric ribbons and are placed in parallel over the longitudinal bar and support ledges on the side panels.

A valve is secured to the membrane and forms a fluid connection from the internal pocket to an outside, allowing users to inflate and deflate the membrane.

Abstract: Systems relating to a safe and easily removable and reusable waterproof pad with accompanying bottom layer that attaches to a crib mattress. The detachable waterproof pad of the present invention seeks to reduce the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) by providing a tightly fitted pad to comply with current SIDS recommendations. The pad can be changed, cleaned, and replaced frequently.

Abstract: A bedding skirt is configured to be rapidly inserted upon a mattress frame. The bedding skirt includes a front panel sufficiently long to hang from the mattress frame to ground. A back panel is attached to the front panel and sufficiently long to hang from the mattress frame to the ground. A plurality of magnets are attached to the back panel and configured to connect the bedding skirt to the mattress frame. The bedding skirt can be rapidly connected to the mattress frame for use and rapidly removed from the mattress frame for cleaning.

Sheet changing of bunk beds and beds with limited access to one or more sides is simplified especially for the elderly and/or disabled.

Rolling up the quilted material makes a thicker lanyard as compared to a sheet or thin blanket that hospitals typically use. The thicker the lanyard the less lethal it is. Another feature includes an alarm system that warns when the bed linen has been removed from the mattress. The mattress-support mechanism also includes a foundation attachment surface for removably attaching the mattress-retention mechanism to the top of a mattress foundation, where the foundation attachment surface is perpendicular to the curved interior surface. The mechanism may include a bedding aperture on the side of the mattress-support structure to accommodate bedding inserted through the bedding aperture. Further, the mechanism may include a side attachment surface for removably attaching the mattress-retention mechanism to a vertical side of the mattress foundation.
