Abstract: A combination blanket and seat article is disclosed. The blanket portion comprises a king-size terry cloth sheet with two removable seat cushions installed in pockets. Straps attaché the seat back to the seat cushion and secure the seat for comfort. Weights around the periphery of the blanket secure it in place. The blanket portion can be used separately from the seat portion. When the seat is inserted, the back portion can be rolled to form a pillow. A strap is provided to hold the rolled back in position. Handles are provided for carrying the article. Shoulder straps are also provided to enable carrying the article as a backpack.

Abstract: A bedding cover (100) having a runner layer (101) that simulates an overlaid bed scarf is provided. The runner layer (101) can be coupled to the cover material of the bedding cover (100) as a link, thereby preventing pillowing issues. The runner layer (101) provides both an aesthetically pleasing, upscale ornamental appearance as well as a subliminal target for bags and shoes. The runner layer (101) can include flanges (404). The flanges (404) can be pinned to the cover material with outer stitches (501,502), or tacked to the cover material with tag stitches (601,602).

Abstract: The embodiments described herein generally relate to a system and method for joining a detachable fabric sheet to a cover through the use of one or more corresponding fastening or temporary joining mechanisms located on the cover and fabric sheet. In an embodiment, the cover includes one or more mechanisms to align and/or secure a filling material to the cover, as well as one or more fastening or temporary joining mechanisms for attaching the detachable fabric sheet to the cover. Methods and systems are provided for detachably joining the fabric sheet to the cover, for creating a multi-layer unit of a cover and detachable sheets, as well as for aligning and securing the filler to the cover. A method is also provided for manufacturing the integrated bedding cover system.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for making same utilizing a breathable mesh material having a reduced suffocation resistance level for infant and toddler use. The breathable mesh material includes an inner and outer fabric that includes larger openings on the front substructure than on the back substructure and a pile substructure is integrated and extends between the front and back substructures allowing air to substantially move effectively therethrough.

Abstract: Disclosed is a mattress cover. The mattress cover includes a top panel and a bottom panel, and a covering member. The top panel and the bottom panel are coupled to configure an enclosure having a side opening. Further, the covering member extends from at least one of the top panel and the bottom panel. The covering member is capable of being folded inwardly to releasably close the side opening of the enclosure.

Abstract: A comforter is provided having a length and width dimension larger than commercially available comforters. A flexible slidable fastener is provided along the length of the comforter substantially in the middle of the width dimension of the comforter. The flexible slidable fastener may be covered to prevent irritation to the occupants of the bed on which the comforter of the present invention is placed.

Abstract: A resting method and apparatus for a young child. The young child can be either a newborn, infant, or toddler. The resting apparatus will attach to a cushion such as a mattress, or other back supporting device which is generally associated with a crib or other child's sleeping environmental structure. The resting apparatus has a base sheet or cover which attaches to the cushion. On top of the base cover is attached a pouch section. The pouch section is sized to allow the child to fit comfortably within the interior of the pouch from the child's neck to the child's feet. The pouch fits securely against the outer surface area of the child. The child is laid on its back within the pouch. The arms and legs are held in longitudinal alignment within the pouch. The pouch is designed to restrain the child from overturning from its back position to a front facing position.

Abstract: A bedding assembly includes a fitted sheet forming opposing side panels when engaging a mattress and including at least one fastener positioned longitudinally along at least one of the fitted sheet opposing side panels. The bedding assembly also includes a top sheet forming opposing side panels when engaging a mattress and including at least one complimentary fastener positioned longitudinally along at least one of the top sheet opposing side panels, the at least one complementary fastener of the top sheet substantially aligning with the at least one fastener of the fitted sheet.

Abstract: An inflatable structure includes a fabric body having three hydrophilic and vapor-transmissible plastic layers sequentially applied over an inner surface thereof, and including at least one continuous S-shaped bonding channel, along which areas on an outer surface of the fabric body at two opposite sides thereof are bonded together. The three hydrophilic and vapor transmissible plastic layers are lightweight, waterproof, vapor transmissible, and warm; and the S-shaped bonding channel has small width to allow increased inflatable space in the fabric body. The continuous S-shaped bonding channel has two ends formed into two closed circular bonding lines to avoid damage of the inflatable structure by stress concentrated at the bonding line.

Abstract: Disclosed is a comforter cover having a sleeve and one or more end caps. The sleeve can have one or two open ends and the comforter can be received into the sleeve through one of the open ends. The end cap or end caps can be fittable over the sleeve and comforter to close the open end or ends of the sleeve. A fastening system can fasten the end cap or end caps to the sleeve. The fastening system can be provided by buttons attached to the comforter which button through buttonholes in the sleeve and end caps, or by closable fasteners passing through openings in the sleeve, the end caps and also in the comforter, or other suitable fastening devices. The comforter cover can protect the comforter against wear and tear, promotes cleanliness, can seal in an esthetic manner and lends itself to a variety of ornamentation and visual effects.

Abstract: The removable crib sheet is comprised of a moisture proof layer, an upper layer of an adsorbent material and a lower layer of an absorbent material. The moisture proof layer is comprised of a moisture proof sheet with a moisture absorbent sheet on each side of the moisture proof sheet which have been attached together through the use of ultrasonic technologies or through the use of adhesives which can withstand being cycled through a washer and a dryer. Adjacent the exterior surface of each absorbent layer there can be a soft material layer and/or a less soft material layer. The peripheral edge of the moisture proof layer, upper absorbent layer and the lower absorbent layer are attached together on the peripheral edge. The attaching can be by stitching, adhesive bonding or by heat bonding. While at least the moisture proof layer and the upper and lower layers of absorbent material are stitched or heat bonded together at the periphery, the soft material layers can be included.

These removably attachable pieces can be shaped like characters, such as princes, knights, or princesses, or animals, such as tigers, sharks, or dragons, or other items, such as treasure chests, motorcycles, or race cars. The bed sheet apparatus can have any number of background scenes printed on it as well. By using these background scenes, the removably attachable pieces, and the fasteners, a child can create any number of imaginary scenarios on the surface of his or her bed.

Abstract: In accordance with the aspects of the present invention, an improved way for textile bedding products, particularly comforters and quilts, is by individual panels that are connected together by the “EASY WASH” application pocket for easier and less costly cleaning in standard size home washing machines and dried in standard size home clothes dryers. The “EASY WASH” application for textiles, generally comforters and quilts, also allows for the flipping over of specific panels to create and form one textile product with a different color, or color pattern.

Abstract: The bedding article includes upper and lower fabric layers which are substantially identical in configuration and are secured to each other around the peripheries thereof. A plurality of channels are defined by channel baffle members which extend in a longitudinal direction of the bedding article. A plurality of curved, cup-like baffle elements are positioned in the channels, attached to the upper and lower fabric sections. The baffle members alternate in orientation, i.e. their direction of opening, along the length of the channel, wherein adjacent baffles which curve toward each other are spaced apart so as to permit fill to be blown into the channels and the volumes bounded by the baffle elements.

In one embodiment, the fitted sheet of a bed comprises an upper surface and at least one attachment member disposed on the upper surface. A quick-change sheet having upper and lower surfaces also is provided, wherein at least one attachment member is disposed on the lower surface of the quick-change sheet. In use, the attachment member of the quick-change sheet is configured to releasably mate with the attachment member of the fitted sheet, thereby facilitating the changing of the quick-change sheet. Further, at least one pocket member may be releasably coupled to the fitted sheet, thereby providing one or more storage locations in close proximity to the bed.

Side border portions are secured to the sides of the core portion and to the opposing ends of the head and foot border portions.

Abstract: A fitted mattress cover for enveloping the top, side and end surfaces of a mattress is constructed to accommodate a range of mattress peripheral sizes and thicknesses. The construction utilizes composite end panels which include stretch end panels covering lower partial portions of the mattress end surfaces and which impart recovery forces to effectively grip the mattress and thereby minimize the shifting of the cover relative to the mattress. At the same time, the look and feel of the mattress covering, which may be of importance especially in the case of a fitted sheet, is improved, by virtue of the fact that the side panels can be formed as uninterrupted unitary extensions of the material forming the top side panel, or other material based upon aesthetic considerations, as can upper partial portions (extension end panels) of the composite end panels.

Abstract: An exemplary method for fabricating duvets, shams, or pillowcases comprises: providing first squared fabric leftover pieces of a first color; providing second squared fabric leftover pieces of a second contrasting color equal to the first pieces; stitching together the leftover pieces arranged in a checker pattern, wherein each first square is adjacent to second squares and vice-versa, forming a top and a bottom joint sheets substantially equal and rectangular, both having two longitudinal sides and transversal sides; superimposing the top sheet on the bottom sheet, stitching them together along the longitudinal sides and one transversal side by a sewing machine, thereby coupling them. A comforter can be made of one top joint sheet (produced by the above method), one heat insulation layer, and one regular bottom sheet. A method modification includes arranging a joint sheet from strips; wherein each strip differs from its adjacent strip or strips by contrasting colors.

Abstract: A mattress pad positionable atop a rectangular mattress which better accommodates diverse weights and sizes of the human anatomy for enhanced comfort. The mattress pad includes a flexible bottom sheet having a size and shape substantially similar to that of a top surface of the mattress. A flexible fabric top sheet is connected to the bottom sheet by peripheral stitching along common perimeter side, head and foot margins. A plurality of generally side-by-side body supporting chambers are each defined by peripheral stitching and spaced lines of continuous stitching which interconnect the top and bottom sheets. Each chamber is filled with an open or closed cell urethane foam material. Preselected nominal thicknesses of each of the chambers provides the comfort and accommodation to each portion of the human anatomy.

The covering member is connected to the limiting member and has at least one opening. The plurality of frame members are configured in a predetermined arrangement inside the covering member. The frame member further consists of at least two arc curves with one arc curve in close proximity to the other arc curve at its overlapping end. The frame member further contains two adjoining ends in close proximity to the outer edge of limiting member to turn the overlapping end into essentially the highest point and prop up the covering member to a height away from the limiting member.

Abstract: A pet bed which is configured from an upper fabric layer and lower fabric layer which are joined at a peripheral edge. The upper and lower fabric layers define the shape of the bedding product wherein a portion of the peripheral edge is selectively closeable to provide an opening for filling the bedding product with a chopped memory foam fill material. A plurality of barriers extend proximate the opening to the length of the upper and lower fabric layers and join the upper and lower fabric layers by, for example, sewing the barriers to them. The barrier layers are of a width approximately equal to the thickness of the bedding product once filled with said chopped memory foam fill material substantially preventing fill material migration between sub volumes created by said barriers.

Abstract: An easily laundered one piece sofa protector and bedding substitute for couches and sofas providing a retention means for the bottom sofa cushions. Retention means is provided by a fitted sheet type element conjoined to a flat sheet in such a way to stay in place while the sofa occupant sleeps. Alternately, the flat sheet may be pulled away from the fitted sheet and laid against the back sofa cushions to protect them from soiling. Additionally, a sewn in pouch for the temporary retention of a typical throw pillow is provided so that the throw pillow may be used as a sleeping pillow without soiling the surface of the throw pillow.

The elastomeric component can be woven into the covering. The elastomeric component can be either removably attached to a bedding assembly or affixed to a bedding assembly. On a preferred embodiment, the bedding assembly can be connected to a second sheet, preferably a fitted sheet, to tightly secure the bedding assembly and the sheet assembly to a bed while the elastomeric component provides additional space for a user. The bedding assembly can be removably attached to the second sheet or affixed to the second sheet.

Abstract: The terrace comforter is made by a shell with many tubes of the same width and length sitting side by side from one end of the shell extended to the other end. Each tube consists of several and the same number of baffled boxes separated by walls between them. There are one or two small holes on the baffled walls in each box so that the filling materials can be blown into the box with a metal tube inserted through the holes on those baffled walls into the box and stay there for a long period of time before moving into the next boxes. The height of boxes can be the same or different as long as the space in each box is large enough for the filling material to expand to its fullest volume.
