  • Patent number: 9168583
Abstract: The invention comprises a non-rotating shaft for supporting a mechanical element of a roll segment in a continuous casting machine, having an essentially circular cross-section. The circular cross-section presents a portion having a smooth peripheral, wherein the distance between any point of the portion and a center of the circular cross-section is shorter than a radius of the circular cross-section. Furthermore, the circular cross-section presenting the portion extends axially, which defines a section of the shaft meant to a least partly receive the mechanical element, and the section of the shaft is meant to receive a load at least partly at the portion. In addition, according to a second aspect, the invention comprises a segment roll for a continuous casting machine, which comprises the non-rotating shaft according to the first aspect.

Abstract: A filament positioning control device for composite spinning of filaments and staple fibers comprises a fixed shaft and a hollow shaft mounted thereon. Left and right spiral wheels with left and right spiral grooves are mounted on the hollow shaft. Left and right positioning plates are provided on outer sides of left and right spiral wheels, each having a guide pin engaged in a spiral groove. Each positioning plate has a guide block engaged in a guide rail. As the hollow shaft is rotated, the spiral wheels rotate accordingly and the guide pins on the left and right positioning wheels move along with the spiral grooves. Because spiral grooves on two spiral wheels have different directions, when the spiral wheels rotate, the distance between positioning grooves on the two positioning plates increases or decreases, thereby changing the distance between two filaments guided by grooves on the positioning plates.

  • Patent number: 5822969
Abstract: A device for delivering wound bobbins from a textile machine, comprising a main conveyor of wound bobbins, the conveyor having an end, an ancillary belt conveyor which receives wound bobbins from the end of the main conveyor and conveys them in a conveying direction; and a multi-story row container at one or both lateral sides of the ancillary conveyor. The height of the ancillary conveyor is adjustable to the height of each row in the row container. An adjustment device, such as one that tilts the row of bobbins on the ancillary conveyor, causes the bobbins to move from the ancillary conveyor to a row of the row conveyor in a direction perpendicular to the motion direction of the belt of the ancillary conveyor.
