Abstract: The locking device is for arrangement in the connector receptacle, which is connected to the charging connector that charges a battery, to interlock the connector receptacle and the charging connector. The locking device includes a notch engageable with a hook arranged in the charging connector. A lock bar is movable between a lock position, at which the lock bar restricts movement of the hook and keeps the hook and lock bar engaged, and an unlock position, at which the lock bar moves away from the hook and permits movement of the hook. A drive unit generates drive force for moving the lock bar from the unlock position to the lock position.

  • Patent number: 8228192
Abstract: A security device for attachment to an article to deter theft of the article has a housing containing an alarm system including an audible alarm with a defeat mechanism having a two-part connector that attaches to both a cable and a locking mechanism. The connector includes a mechanical fuse (e.g., two-step ferrule holder) that provides defeat prevention of the alarm device. The locked device alarms if pulled too hard from twisting the cable without releasing the primary lock. The connector is preferably shaped as a generally elliptic cylindrical bayonet having an oval transverse cross-section and a truncated oblique cone-shaped distal end. This enables the plug to be inserted into a locking channel of the locking mechanism in either of two directions facilitating the locking of the attached cable about an article of merchandise.

Abstract: A security container for retaining an item of merchandise therein; said security container comprising a base, a lid, a slider within the lid, a lid hole, a slider tab extending from the slider through the lid hole, and a locking mechanism unlocked through magnetic manipulation. The slider tab is located proximate the hinged side of the lid. As a user positions a key to magnetically unlock the locking mechanism, a protrusion on the key simultaneously pushes the slider tab which unlocks internal L-shaped lock tabs from hook tabs. The slider tab is located on the hinged side of the lid for aesthetic as well as safety purposes. By hiding the security features, potential customers focus on the product within the box. Likewise, a casual thief observing from the front and sides of the container is presented with no immediate means for entry. Abstract: A locking structure applied on a board sliding in a track. The board has locating hole. The locking structure includes a moving member and a locking plate respectively disposed on the board. The moving member has a pull ring portion, a first extending arm, a second extending arm, a first contact portion and a second contact portion. The locking plate has a first engaging arm and a second engaging arm, wherein the first engaging arm leans against the first contact portion and the second engaging arm leans against the second contact portion when a loading is applied to the moving member via the pull ring portion to push the moving member from an initial position to a disengaging position. The first extending arm and the second extending arm apply a resilient force to drive the moving member from the disengaging position back to the initial position.

The system includes two opposing secondary side rails configured to move laterally along an underside of the primary boat lift I-beams. The side rails are interlocked within receiving brackets mounted to the boat lift posts, using a locking device that locks one of the side rails to the post mounted brackets on the dock pier side. The opposite secondary side rail includes an attached pull bar that allows a person to place the rail in position for locking or to pull the opposite side rail away from the lift posts to lower the boat into the water. The pull bar handle is interlocked with the rail nearest the dock pier side.

Abstract: A pneumatically operated barrier lock is provided. The barrier lock includes a body and a locking pin slidably mounted on the body for movement along a path between an extended position for engaging a catch and a retracted position for disengaging the catch. The lock also includes a pneumatic cylinder in connection with a pressure source and actuating the locking pin between the extended position and the retracted position. An opposite end of the cylinder is adapted for connection to a relatively low second pressure source. A second pressure source connectable to end of the pneumatic cylinder biases the piston away therefrom and generates a first biasing apparatus, in form of a pneumatic spring, which biases the locking pin toward the retracted position. A blocking member is hingedly connected, about a pivot axis, to the body and is selectively movable between a first position and a second position.

Abstract: An outboard motor lower-unit lock has a key, a locking pin assembly and a shaft. To install the lock, a user drills a shaft hole the same diameter as the shaft through both sides of a housing unit below an access hole of the housing unit. The shaft is inserted in the shaft hole, and oriented so that a threaded hole in the center of the shaft can receive a threaded pin section of the locking pin. The locking pin receives the key. The key is tightened. Finally, the user removes the key allowing the locking pin to rotate around and below the shaft, thereby obstructing a bolt securing the lower-unit to the housing unit, and preventing the unauthorized removal of the lower-unit.
