A traffic log is received from a first media automation application configured to generate a traffic log associated with a media station, and spot information associated with spots included in the traffic log is received from at least a second media automation application. The API stores the broadcast-related information, including the traffic log and the spot information, in one or more databases. The API also receives, from a media playout system, at least one request for the stored broadcast-related information. The media playout system is configured to insert media content into a media broadcast associated with the media station. The API provides the requested broadcast-related information to the media playout system, which inserts the media content into the media broadcast associated with the media station.

Abstract: A system for anonymously connecting consumers to advertisers is disclosed. A computing device, upon receipt of a request from a consumer mobile device, sends a ready-to-send text message to the consumer mobile device to be displayed thereon, via a data network; receives the ready-to-send text message from the consumer mobile device; receives metadata from the consumer mobile device comprising at least a phone number associated with the consumer mobile device; determines an anonymous identity of the user of the consumer mobile device based on the metadata; composes and sends a text message with an embedded call-to-action link comprising a uniform resource locator (URL) to the consumer mobile device; and upon receipt of a request from the consumer mobile device comprising the URL, sends the anonymous identity of the user to a third-party server and redirect the request from the consumer mobile device to the third-party server.

In one embodiment of the present invention, a mobile application operating on a mobile device is used to determine a location of the mobile device. Information is also entered (or acquired) to identify a shopping cart that is used during a shopping session. As items are placed within the cart, information concerning the items is presented to the user via a display on the cart and/or the mobile device. The first party can then interact with the same to enhance their shopping experience (e.g., access coupons, search for items, etc.). Once the user is done, the host device will charge a payment method linked to the user's account for items that are in the shopping cart.
