  • Patent number: 11905125
Abstract: A parcel cart loading system includes: a conveyor; parcel carts for receiving parcels offloaded from the conveyor; a loading station where parcels are offloaded to the parcel carts; and a vision and control subsystem that is operably connected to a plurality of mobile robots. The vision and control subsystem acquires one or more images of parcel carts within a loading area of the loading station and determines if any of the parcel carts are fully loaded based on the image data. Each parcel cart determined to be fully loaded is autonomously transported out of the loading area and to its intended destination by one of the mobile robots within the system. Each parcel cart transported out of the loading area is replaced by another parcel cart from a queue area of the loading station by another mobile robot of the system.

  • Patent number: 11909579
Abstract: Embodiments relate to the autonomous remediation of IT asset records in accordance with rules-based asset management policies. An IT asset record associated with an IT asset and having a first piece of IT asset information is received and evaluated for compliance in accordance with defined asset management rules. The asset management rules require the IT asset record to include both the first piece and a second piece of IT asset information. In view of the rules, a determination is made that the IT asset record requires remediation. Based on a determination that the IT asset record requires remediation, a decision-tree machine learning model is utilized to infer, based on IT asset information available in the IT asset record, at least the second piece of IT asset information to place the IT asset record in compliance with the asset management rules.

  • Patent number: 11909758
Abstract: Systems and methods described herein provide a cyber risk assessment service. A computing device determines weights for techniques of a cyber security framework based on historical industry impact. The computing device associates an enterprise network with an industry identifier, obtains customer risk data for the enterprise network, and normalizes and/or combines the customer risk data to form normalized risk scores. The computing device maps the customer risk data to corresponding techniques in the cyber security framework, generates technique scores based on the mapping and the normalized risk scores, and generates weighted technique scores using some of the weights selected based on the industry identifier. The computing device calculates an overall security score for the enterprise network based on the weighted technique scores, identifies a corrective recommendation for the overall security score, and provides the overall security score and the corrective recommendation for presentation to a user.

  • Patent number: 11887046
Abstract: A system may use sensor data from a facility to generate tentative values associated with an event, such as the identification of an item removed from a shelf of the facility. A confidence value associated with each of the tentative values may be less than a confidence threshold. In response, inquiry data seeking confirmation of a tentative value from an associate is generated and sent to one or more associates in the facility. Responses from the associates are collected to determine a selection of one of the tentative values. The selected tentative value is designated as output data for the system. Thereafter, the output data and the original sensor data are designated as training data, which can then be used to train or update machine learning systems. Subsequent use of the updated machine learning systems can yield more accurate results.

Abstract: An online concierge identifies orders to shoppers, allowing shoppers to select orders for fulfillment. The online concierge system may generate batches that include multiple orders, allowing a shopper to select a batch to fulfill multiple orders. As orders are continuously being received, delaying identification of orders to shoppers may allow greater batching of orders. To allow greater opportunities for batching, the online concierge system estimates a benefit for delaying identification of an order by different time intervals and predicts an amount of time to fulfill the order. The online concierge system then delays assigning orders for which there is a threshold benefit for delaying and selects a time interval for delaying identification of the order that does not result in greater than a threshold likelihood of a late fulfillment of the order.

  • Patent number: 11853949
Abstract: A system and method are disclosed including a computer and a processor and memory. The computer receives option constraint limiting values of a second option parameter based on a value for a first option parameter, wherein the first option parameter and the second option parameter comprise mix rates for options for a configuration. The computer further generates an interactive element for setting values of the first option parameter and an interactive element for setting the value for the second option parameter and displays the one or more interactive elements. The computer still further, in response to a value being set for the first option parameter, calculates limits for the values of the second option parameters and prevents the interactive element for setting the value for the second option parameter to be set to values outside of the calculated limits.

Abstract: The invention includes a Microprocessor Control Center for controlling an Electric Vehicle Charging Station, and methods thereof, which include a load center for aggregating a charging load from a renewable energy source, a battery stored energy source, and electricity taken directly from the transmission grid when the battery storage depleted. The objective of the system is to maximize the use of the renewable energy source which is used directly and at first priority. The use of an energy storage system prevents local brown-outs which can occur when large amounts of electricity is quickly removed from the grid. The energy storage system is recharged from the grid off-peak when rates and house-hold usage are lowest. In a preferred embodiment, the renewable source is solar power, in other embodiments the renewable source can be wind, tidal and biomass. The solar panels are located on the weather canopy roof at petroleum retail fueling sites.

Abstract: A camera acquires an image of an item involved in an interaction, such as the item being picked or placed on a shelf by a user. The item depicted in the image is identified via item recognition using a customized neural network that uses previously trained subnetworks for a set of candidate items. The candidate items are determined based on items near a user location, items associated with a user cart, items in a shopping list or wish list associated with the user, or items otherwise associated with the user. Each previously trained subnetwork for a candidate item includes one or more reference images and corresponding reference feature data. The customized neural network uses a matching and inference network to test the image against the candidate items and provide comparison data indicative of a similarity between the item depicted in the image and one of the candidate items.
