Abstract: A method and system for resolving an unlicensed installation of a type of software in a first computer of a company. The method and system: determines that the type of software is currently installed on a second computer of the company; determines that the company has an existing license permitting multiple copies of the software to be installed on the second computer; and based on the determination that the company has an existing license which permits multiple copies of the software to be installed on the second computer, determines, and generates a computer record indicating, that a solution to the unlicensed installation of the type of software on the first computer is to decommission the unlicensed software from the first computer and install another copy of the software in the second computer under the existing license in addition to the type of software currently installed on the second computer.

Abstract: Systems and methods for patent portfolio management and generation of analytics are described. A system comprises, for example, one or more modules. A first module is configured to combine data received from an official government source and from a docketing system. The data received may pertain to one or more assets of a patent portfolio. Abstract: A system and method of managing a server based multi-member or crowdsourced scouting process for client sponsored technology, product, or prior art searches. Clients submit search requests with non-confidential and often confidential parts, and associated search constraints, often via electronic client workspaces. This is stored in the system database. Members and their associated member information are also stored in the system database. Potentially interested members are contacted, given non-confidential information, and NDA submitting members then are provided with any confidential part of the search. Members then utilize their own networks to generate search leads. Member submitted leads are then evaluated either automatically or via administrator system dashboards, and passing leads given to clients for review or approval. Efficiency is enhanced by allowing various types of member-client feedback during the process. Funds or other rewards are dispersed to those members who submit client approved leads.

In one embodiment, Trusted Information Exchange (TIE) systems have a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and use content (information, asset) repositories to store and forward content to trusted entities on the Internet. The electronic license may then be distributed together with the licensing program to the licensee. A new electronic license can be deployed by the licensee without a need to update previously installed licensing program. The combination of count-related license properties may be applicable to a great variety of license models and deployments.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for collaborative and integrated intellectual property management are provided. The method includes defining a sequence of phases for an intellectual property management model. The phases are defined by task-based components in conjunction with a workflow component and a messaging component. The task-based components specify a sequence of tasks implemented for achieving a desired outcome for a respective phase and also specify at least one of a resource and a role assigned to implement one or more of the sequence of tasks. Indirect placement occurs upon transfer of the digital object to an intermediate storage location, such as the user's electronic device, then placing the digital object in the personalized data store. The user, via streaming, download, or other transfer, may then access content placed in the personalized data store.

Abstract: A content exchange service facilitates communication between, and production of content by, holders of rights in content titles and producers of content. The content exchange service receives content profiles from various rights holders and surfaces the content profiles to producers for purposes of soliciting auditions to produce the content subject of the content profiles in an alternative form. The rights holder can review the auditions submitted by producers and establish communication with the producer of the audition the rights holder liked via the content exchange service. The content exchange service can then facilitate negotiation of an agreement between the rights holder and the producer for production of the content in an alternative form. Following finalization of the agreement, the producer may submit a complete production of the content in the alternative form to the content exchange service, which in turn presents the complete production to the rights holder for approval.

Abstract: According to various embodiments, systems and methods are provided for enabling parties to create, define, buy, and sell usage rights in radio frequency (RF) ranges, e.g., via a computerized trading exchange. The usage rights may comprise exclusive or shared ownership or lease interests. A government or other entity may initially offer on the exchange usage rights in radio frequencies owned or controlled by the government. The usage rights may be sold to market participants, e.g., through a competitive bidding process such as a reverse auction, Dutch auction, RFQ, or other methodology. Such rights may be transferred subject to government use, e.g., in emergency situations. Information associated with offered RF usage rights such as historical usage data, geographical reach, and available RF equipment may be published on the exchange. The exchange may also enable secondary trading of usage rights.
