Abstract: A hidden braking assembly provides a connecting unit disposed inside a main frame. The connecting unit comprises an upper stem connected to a brake handle, a lower stem connected to a brake unit, and an adjusting set fixed to the lower stem and penetrated by the upper stem. A locking part of the adjusting set is operated to quickly adjust a telescoping length of an upper and a lower frame of the main frame. The connecting unit is synchronically adjusted during the adjustment of the upper frame and the lower frame. After the adjustment, the locking part is fixed to a body part of the adjusting set so that the two frames and the two stems can be firmly positioned, thereby facilitating a rapid adjustment of the telescoping length of the main frame and the connecting unit, increasing a using convenience, and attaining a stable braking effect.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a safety trigger mechanism and functional frame for motion furniture for driving a drive mechanism of motion furniture. The safety trigger mechanism includes a mounting board, and a pull wire, a fork and a first restoring spring connected in turn. The fork is mounted turnably about a first rivet on the mounting board by the first rivet, and a bent hook is disposed on one end of the fork and interlocked with a driving arm of the drive mechanism. The safety trigger mechanism further includes a safety hook with a notch, which is mounted turnably about a second rivet on the mounting board by the second rivet. One side edge of the safety hook abuts against the bent hook of the fork, and the driving aim has an arresting pin disposed thereon. The initial position of the arresting pin is in the notch of the safety hook, and the arresting pin is detached from the notch of the safety hook when the safety hook turns clockwise.

Abstract: An integrated parking brake and clutch control system for a vehicle is provided that includes a clutch perch configured for mounting on a handlebar assembly of a vehicle. A clutch lever is pivotably coupled to the clutch perch and is pivotable between rest and clutch-applied positions, and between the rest position and a parking-brake-applied position. A brake lever is pivotably coupled to the clutch perch and is pivotable between rest and depressed positions. A lock pin is supported by and moveable with the brake lever. The clutch lever defines a pin-receiving aperture and is configured to receive respective ends of a clutch cable and a parking brake cable. The lock pin is selectively insertable into the pin-receiving aperture when the clutch lever is in the parking-brake-applied position, which prevents the clutch lever from pivoting to either the rest position or the clutch-applied position.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for a seat post assembly that is adjustable to an upper, intermediate, and lower seat post position using a locking member and a sleeve member coupled to an actuator for securing and releasing an inner tube with respect to an outer tube. The actuator may move the sleeve member to release the locking member from engagement with the outer tube to adjust the inner tube and thus the seat post assembly to the upper, intermediate, or lower seat post positions. The actuator and the sleeve may be biased into an initial position that urges the locking member into engagement with outer tube to lock the inner tube to the outer tube.

Abstract: A lightweight radio/CD player for vehicular application is virtually “fastenerless” and includes a case and frontal interface formed of polymer based material that is molded to provide details to accept audio devices such as playback mechanisms (if desired) and radio receivers, as well as the circuit boards required for electrical control and display. The case and frontal interface are of composite structure, including an insert molded electrically conductive wire mesh screen that has been pre-formed to contour with the molding operation. The wire mesh provides EMC, RFI, BCI and ESD shielding and grounding of the circuit boards via exposed wire mesh pads and adjacent ground clips. The PCB architecture is bifurcated into a first board carrying common circuit components in a surface mount configuration suitable for high volume production, and a second board carrying application specific circuit components in a wave soldered stick mount configuration.

  • Publication number: 20110303043
Abstract: A force control module, assembly, or device for controlling a force required to actuate an electromechanical actuator or a set of electromechanical actuators. The electromechanical actuator is for example a computer mouse button, a keypad, or a joystick button. The force control module includes a lever element that is couplable to the electromechanical actuator, and a fulcrum element that is engageable with the lever element at a pivot point or fulcrum point. A displacement of the fulcrum element relative to the lever element varies a position of the fulcrum point. The force required for actuating the electromechanical actuator is at least partially dependent upon the position of the fulcrum point. By displacing the fulcrum element relative to the lever element, and hence varying the position of the fulcrum point, a user can vary the force required for actuating the electromechanical actuator.

Abstract: In a parking brake system, a locking tooth (17a) of a ratchet plate (17) is configured to have: a first area (S1) in which a locking claw (19c) of a ratchet pawl (19) comes into contact with the locking tooth and remains there in an equilibrium state when a parking brake lever is pulled up and thereafter loosened while a release rod being pressed; and a second area (S2) in which the locking claw remains there in a state of halfway engagement of tooth tips when a pressing force of the release rod is released. With this configuration, when the locking claw (19c) comes into contact with a portion closer to a tip of the locking tooth (17a) beyond the first area (S1), a line of force (F1) is maintained due to the pressing force of the release rod. Accordingly, the locking claw (19c) does not become in the state of halfway engagement of tooth tips at the second area (S2), and the locking claw (19c) slides towered the tooth tip to prevent beforehand the occurrence of the state of halfway engagement of tooth tips.
