Abstract: A laser guided cutting tool of the present invention comprises a base for supporting a workpiece to be cut, a bracket fixed on the base, a cutting assembly pivotally mounted on the bracket, and a laser generator. The laser generator is disposed within a pivot shaft which is mounted on the bracket, and the pivot shaft has an aperture permitting a laser beam projected from the laser generator to pass through and project onto the workpiece directly under the cutting assembly. Because the laser generator is disposed inside of the pivot shaft, the cutting tool is compact in size. Furthermore, the laser generator is rarely defiled or damaged as it is held and covered by the sidewall of the pivot shaft.

Abstract: A material cutting system for cutting predetermined widths of stone. The system includes a fixed frame that is solidly affixed to the stone in the ground. A set of tracks rest on the ground and are adjustably spaced apart to receive the wheels of a stone cutting machine to control the movement of the cutting machine along a straight line to make a cutting pass. A track adjusting system moves the tracks a predetermined distance to allow a subsequent pass to cut the stone. The track adjustment system includes a motive device, such as a winch, affixed to the fixed frame having cables that extend to the tracks such that operation of the winch moves the track laterally toward the fixed frame. The amount of movement is accurately controlled by a spacing member having a predetermined length that provides a gauge to control the lateral movement of the tracks.

Abstract: A cutting device has a jacket member (22) embodied to selectively shield or expose a rotor commutator (6), and a cutting mechanism (24) fixed to the jacket member (22) having scissors (25) with a scissor (25) drive. The scissor (25) drive displaces the scissors (25) in an axial direction as well as in a direction having a radial component relative to the jacket member (22). The jacket member (22) is brought into a position in which it shields the commutator (6). After winding and fastening a wire into a winding element (4), the scissor (25) drive is triggered to move the scissors (25) in an axial and radial direction towards or beyond the axial end of the jacket member (22) via which the commutator (6) can be inserted into the jacket member (22). The scissor (25) blades (44, 46) are triggered to cut the wire while the scissor (25) drive is triggered to move the scissors (25)in the opposite direction.
