Abstract: A sealing and dispensing cap for a carbonated drink container permits the container to be inverted with the cap disposed in a closed position to trap carbonating gases, whereupon the cap is disposed in an open position to dispense the carbonated drink. This cap prevents carbonated drink from going "flat" by preventing the escape of carbonating gases during drink dispensation.

Abstract: A fireplace implement for receiving, omni-directionally mobilizing and storing wood logs in a horizontally elongated stack, the stack being a horizontally directed array of alligned pieces of wood logs of substantially equal length such that the implement whether loaded or empty has a substantially low center of gravity provided by a bottom member of steel or the like functioning in combination with two U-shaped outer members wherein the height H of each vertical post of each U-shaped outer member is approximately equal to or less than one-half the length L of the bottom portion of each U-shaped member. The bottom member is adapted to the lower U-shape of each outer member and also functions to catch and prevent debris from the wood logs discharging underneath the implement.
Abstract: A combination of a layered leather pouch and a flat flexible unified structure of a heater utilizing an exothermic composition for the purpose of creating and maintaining an arc welding rod inside the pouch at a temperature range between about 28 degrees C and about 139 degrees C, the pouch having a walled off compartment made of specifically perforated suede, the compartment being adapted to receive and hold one or more heaters having sufficient heat generating capacity to maintain the rod in the temperature range for an extended period of at least 3 hours and to be portably and safely worn adjacent a welder on his belt.
Abstract: A camera mount for taking panoramic pictures. A camera mounting plate is rotatably attached to a tripod mounting plate in a manner permitting the camera mounting plate to sweep an arc of rotation along the top surface of the tripod mounting plate. The tripod mounting plate has a convexly-curved forward edge and a protractor disposed adjacent the forward edge. A stationary detent is fixedly attached adjacent to the center of the protractor and a plurality of adjustable detents are disposed to each side of the stationary detent within respective detent slots disposed along the arc of rotation adjacent to the protractor. The camera mounting plate includes a camera mounting block that can be adjusted rearwardly and forwardly upon the camera mounting plate. A pointer integrally formed as part of the camera mounting plate includes a transparent eyeglass disposed above the protractor having a datum to facilitate alignment of the pointer with the protractor.
Abstract: A roofer's attachment for shoes to provide secure footing while working on a sloping roof and the like. The attachment preferably includes a rigid half sole having a slip-resistant material on the bottom surface, an instep strap attached to the sides of the half sole, a rigid toe member that biases the toe portion of the half sole against the roof and prevents curling and a heel strap to secure the attachment to the roofer's shoe. The material on the bottom surface of the half sole is preferably formed from medium weave indoor/outdoor carpet. The toe member is preferably made of a rigid material such as Teflon or a suitably curved piece of steel and the half sole is made of hard plastic or hardened leather with the carpet attached underneath.
Abstract: A cab guard for the rear window of a pickup truck is provided with electrically activated brake lights which illuminate rearwardly and being further adapted with a means for insulating the lights from vibration and physical shock, the cab guard being mountable in a pair of standards on the pickup truck and rigidly attachable to the pickup truck.
Abstract: A lighted wire nut made operable by connection of the ends of an energized wire conductor is used to troubleshoot circuits by detecting a voltage drop with respect to ground when present in the circuit.
Abstract: A personal alarm device having programmable deactivating, apparatus. The device includes a keypad by which a personal numerical code can be entered. This code is the only manner by which the alarm of the device can be shut off once activated. The code can be changed only by a user knowing the previously-entered deactivation code.
Abstract: A razor holder having an automatic shave counter responsive to each use of a razor. The razor holder includes a delay circuit to permit short term use of a razor without advancing the counter.
Abstract: A confetti tossing apparatus. Lengths of folded paper are fixedly attached between end panels and a body of confetti is disposed within the lengths of folded paper. The apparatus opens to a first position to display a first part of a celebratory greeting, for example the word "HAPPY". The apparatus is jerked while holding the end panels causing the apparatus to open to a second position. A second part of the celebratory greeting for example the word "BIRTHDAY" is displayed in conjunction with the first part of greeting, and the opening of the apparatus to its second position causes confetti to be tossed outwardly from the apparatus.
Abstract: A ball game apparatus including a ball-projecting gun, at least one ball, and a coat-type garment having a plurality of ball adhering portions to which the ball adheres to when projected by the gun. The coat type garment includes scoring indicia for each ball adhering portion which correspond in value to the extent of injury that would be caused by a projectile striking a corresponding portion of the body. Thus, a ball that adheres to a ball adhering portion located close to the heart of the player is scored a higher value than a ball that adheres to a ball adhering portion located on the arm of the player.

Abstract: A restoration method and apparatus whereby a paper fiber dispenser with a vibrating motor causes paper fibers in a dry state to fall onto a disposable filter and within missing part or parts of paper being restored thereon. Paper fibers are collected and immobilized on disposable filter and within missing part or parts of paper being restored as underside of disposable filter is subjected to suction. Water-base adhesive is applied with brush to paper fibers. Paper fibers are compacted with spatula. A tensional filter counteracts pressure exerted with spatula on paper fibers. A tensional filter and disposable filter are subjected to humidity to prevent glue residue from solidifying on tensional filter and to facilitate peeling off disposable filter from restored paper. A restoration table is equipped with a tensional filter and a vacuum and humidification chamber in communication with a source of suction and a source of humidity.
Abstract: A system and method for detecting, separating and recording the individual voices in a musical composition performed by a plurality of instruments. The electrical waveform signal for the multi-voiced musical composition is fed to a waveform signal converter to convert the waveform signal to a frequency spectrum representation. The frequency spectrum representation is fed to a frequency spectrum comparator where it is compared to predetermined steady-state frequency spectrum representations for a particular musical instrument. Upon detecting the presence of a frequency spectrum representation corresponding to a predetermined steady-state frequency spectrum representation, the detected frequency spectrum representation and measured growth and decay frequency spectrum representations are fed to a waveform envelope comparator and compared to predetermined waveform envelopes, i.e. frequency spectrum representations during the growth, steady-state and decay periods of the waveform signal.
Abstract: A pot lid organizer and storage device for selective and stable storage of a plurality of cooking pot lids and the like. The device generally includes a base member and a plurality of pot lid holder modules having pot lid clasps which hold a pot lid by scissors hold grasping engagement of the pot lid handle.
Abstract: A door lock message holder is disclosed which includes a holder head having alternative means to securely attach a message to a door, and a message board attached to the holder head. The holder head includes door lock keyhole attachment means and door lock body attachment means.
