  • Patent number: 7614969
Abstract: An elongated shaft has a shock-absorbing core, a fiber-reinforced durable plastic outer skin encasing the core, and an elongated stiffening member encased within the core. The elongated stiffening member may be a spar or a hollow tube. If it is a hollow tube, the tube may contain a weight that moves along the inside of the tube as the shaft is swung. The shaft also has a way to attach athletic equipment, such as a lacrosse head frame and net, to one end.

  • Patent number: 7607321
Abstract: Solutions permit or facilitate faster and/or easier processing involving loading or unloading of a work module into a process station. For example, the work module may be a processing tube or the like and the process station may be a heating station such as a tube furnace or the like. In one embodiment, the loading is from a single side of a process station. In one embodiment, the work module includes inlets and outlets for fluid flow, with both inlets and outlets being closer toward one side of the work module than the other side.

  • Patent number: 7603644
Abstract: An iterative technique is used to automatically route nets and alter spacing of an integrated circuit design to achieve a fully routed and compact result. After identifying cells rows and channel, which are gaps between the rows, the technique determines which nets should be routed in which areas. Spine routing is used for nets than span more than one row or channel. Alter the space between rows, larger or smaller, which will allow routing of the nets.

  • Patent number: 7603658
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for enabling efficient testing of application programming interface (API) frameworks and application code are disclosed. According to one aspect of the present invention, a framework suitable for use to test an API includes a metadata provider arrangement that stores declarative metadata and a metadata provider interface that obtains the declarative metadata associated with a test from the declarative metadata provider. A first test adapter includes logic used to process the declarative metadata, and a diagnostic test interface cooperates with the first test adapter to execute the test. The first test adapter is effectively interfaced with the diagnostic test interface. Finally, a diagnostics execution engine is arranged to communicate with the diagnostic test interface to cause the test to be executed.

  • Patent number: 7594092
Abstract: A technique to implement an integrated multidimensional sorter is to store data such that it may be retrieved in a sorted fashion. Entries are stored into a memory according to time stamp value, and the time stamp value is divided into multiple portions. The memory is organized as a pointer memory. An integrated multidimensional sorter may be implemented using integrated circuit technology using one or more integrated circuits. These integrated circuits may be used in management of network traffic, and provides quality of service (QoS) control.

  • Patent number: 7582060
Abstract: Peripheral vascular disease is diagnosed through measurements of oxygen saturation. In a specific implementation, peripheral vascular disease is diagnosed based on changes in oxygen saturation in tissue. Ischemia is induced, and then measurements of changes in oxygen saturation in tissue are made. Based on changes in oxygen saturation during a hyperemia phase, a diagnosis is provided of whether a patient has or does not have peripheral vascular disease.

  • Patent number: 7577680
Abstract: The present invention provides network based reporting techniques designed to meet the needs of subscription based marketers. Clients access, edit report on, and analyze their subscriber database using the Internet, for example. In a representative embodiment, a plurality of client computers connect to the Internet using a local area network (LAN), for example. The client computers pass security protocols before gaining access to web, application, and database servers. Once connected, the client computers are able to retrieve and display information using a web browser. Database contents are denormalized to provide the capability to generate reports based upon relatively large amounts of information. In addition, the data is transformed into a structure specifically to facilitate and enhance multi-channel subscription marketing activities.

In a specific implementation, peripheral vascular disease is diagnosed based on changes in oxygen saturation in tissue. Ischemia is induced, and then measurements of changes in oxygen saturation in tissue are made. Based on changes in oxygen saturation during the induced ischemia phase, a diagnosis is provided of whether a patient has or does not have peripheral vascular disease.

Abstract: Peripheral vascular disease is diagnosed through measurements of oxygen saturation. In a specific implementation, peripheral vascular disease is diagnosed based on changes in oxygen saturation in tissue. Ischemia is induced, and measurements of changes in oxygen saturation in tissue are made. Based on changes in oxygen saturation during an accumulation phase, a diagnosis is provided of whether a patient has or does not have peripheral vascular disease.
