The tail portion is mounted onto the door jamb by screws extending through the apertures, wherein the head portion extends forwardly of the door jamb.
Abstract: A hospital gown including at least two panels removably secured about the front and back of a patient to form a garment having a pair of sleeves and an upper torso enveloping portion. Straps are provided in the interior of one sleeve for holding an I.V. tube and a pocket is sewn to the front of the torso enveloping portion to hold a medical diagnostic instrument which can be connected to the chest of the patient through an opening in the torso enveloping portion adjacent the pocket.
Abstract: A vehicular warning light mounted in a storage position on a bracket in the interior of the trunk of a motor vehicle. The bracket is attached to the trunk cover. Upon lifting the trunk cover and closing a switch mounted on the dashboard of the vehicle, a flashing red light is activated and a latch retracted to enable the light to pivot to a use position in a substantially vertical plane.
Abstract: An insulated battery cover to protect a vehicle storage battery from cold weather including a pair of substantially L-shaped insulated plates which are the mirror image of each other provided with bendable tabs on the short legs of each plate inserted through slots in the long legs of the other one of each plate and bent to lock the cover around a battery.
Abstract: A gardening tool that includes a handle portion having a plurality of tines depending therefrom and a second plurality of tines of shorter length, which are adjustable in alternating arrangement with the longer tines. Each tine of the second plurality of tines includes two telescoping portions surrounded by a clamp with a variably tapered internally threaded section. The variable taper within the clamp facilitates the clamping together of the two telescoping portions of the tine.
Abstract: A template holder for clamping a template to a workpiece including a pair of parallel rods mounted one above the other on a spacer block, the upper rod is connected to a template. The lower rod is pivotably connected to the spacer block and is connected to a backing block spaced from the template. The template is positioned on a workpiece and the backing block pivoted to a position beneath the template and work pieces to clamp the workpiece between the template and backing block. With the template locked in place, it is used to mark, cut, or in the drilling of the workpiece.
Abstract: A hospital cabinet including a pivotal panel which is channel-shaped to cross-section and slidably receives a planar board for use in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation.
Abstract: A plurality of L-shaped brackets spaced about the inner circumference of a hubcap have a slot for receiving one of a plurality of L-shaped lugs projecting outwardly from the exterior surface of a wheel to prevent the hubcap from being pryed from the wheel. A lock on the hubcap has a reciprocable projection received within a rectangular slot on one of the wheel lugs to preclude relative rotation of the hubcap and wheel.
Abstract: A cover for carrying a Christmas tree so that needles on the tree falling from the tree are retained in the cover. A flexible sheet is wrapped around the tree and has overlapped edges secured together by snap fasteners. Straps strung through belt loop adjacent the top and bottom edges of the sheet draw the cover tight. A drop cloth is removably secured to the bottom of the cover by a zipper to catch needles and may be draped around the base of the tree when in use. A pair of carrying handles are connected to the sheet or alternatively, an adjustable strap is looped over the ends of the tree and cover for toting the tree and cover.
Abstract: A pea and bean cutter has a semicircular slot with a cutting blade protruding part way into the semicircle. A pea or bean pod moved longitudinally through the slot has its skin longitudinally sliced without marring the peas or beans within.
Abstract: An emergency balloon device includes a balloon member clamped onto a gas cartridge, wherein the gas cartridge is removably received into a cartridge holding section which is also capable of holding a plurality of smoke bomb cannisters. The cartridge holding device is removably received into a sleeve member which is secured to an end of a flexible cable; the other end of the cable is secured to a weighted base.
Abstract: A board game including a large playing board with a center area showing a map of a country such as the United States, with states, cities, time zones and other features, the perimeter or marginal border of the playing board being divided into a large number of playing boxes, each marked with a direction of play for the player, depending upon which box he enters his marker into under guidance of the dice which are cast by the players. The game includes a quantity of play money, airplane tickets for movement from different cities to others, travel cards for similar movement, and luck cards for good and bad luck plays.
Abstract: A baking pan insert that is especially adapted for the baking of cupcake and the like and is adapted to allow the baker to fill each cupcake with a differing filling while the same are already in the pan.
Abstract: A saw guide device includes a planar element having a pair of sides, a forward end, and a rear end. A flange member is affixed at an obtuse angle to the forward end of the planar element. An L-shaped member is affixed to each side of the planar element, wherein each L-shaped element is tilted inwardly over the planar element. The shoe of the saw is adapted to be received on the planar element. A block element is affixed to a bottom rear center of the planar element, wherein the block element is received into the saw cut rearwardly of the saw blade.
Abstract: An oven having a slidable rack. A handle is connected to the rack and projects exteriorly of the oven for movement in an elongated slot in an oven side wall. Movement of the handle in the slot will enable the rack to be slid into and out of the oven chamber without touching the rack. Cooperating pins on the rack and the oven cover pivot the cover to an open position as the rack is slid forwardly by its handle to a stop position wherein the pins return to an abutting relationship to limit further movement of the rack.
Abstract: A catapult comprising a stand and a spring-mounted plunger receives a projectile which is struck by a bat having at least one flat side to propel to the projectile into the air where it is struck again by the bat.
Abstract: A meter for measuring the acceleration and deceleration of an object in "G" including a pendulum having a weight at one end and a pointer at the other end associated with a fixed scale. The pendulum is calibrated and adjusted relative to its rest position on the scale so that when put in motion or when stopped will indicate the acceleration or deceleration of the object on the scale.
Abstract: Eyeglasses used to provide depth simulation when worn to view a planar picture on a movie screen. The temples and frame of the eyeglasses are made from substantially rectangular opaque plastic and transparent, triangular shaped lenses are positioned in the frame adjacent a nosepiece cut therein. The lens and frame arrangement allow each eye to view the screen except for the corresponding edge thereof so that when the total picture is seen through both eyes the sensation of depth perception is realized.

Abstract: A gameboard having a square array of different colored adjacent squares is slidably received in a box containing a plurality of square holes formed by upright criss-crossed partitions. The squares on the gameboard are positioned beneath one of the holes. Different colored balls, corresponding to the colors of the squares on the gameboard, are dropped through a funnel mounted above the box and come to rest in one of the holes. The balls are replaced by correspondingly colored marking discs. The process is repeated until all squares on the gameboard are covered with the discs and then the mathematical probabilities of a particular ball landing on a particular square are compared with the actual occurrence.
