Abstract: A heat sink for semiconductor components or similar devices, especially produced from an extruded aluminum alloy. The heat sink comprises cooling ribs which rise at a distance from a base plate and which are clamped in an insert groove made in the surface of the base plate, laterally limited by longitudinal or intermediate ribs with a coupling base that has an approximately rectangular cross-section. The coupling bases are held in their insert grooves in a form-fit and are cold-welded with the base plate at least in some sections. Cross ribs extend at a distance to one another on the surfaces of the intermediate ribs and have the form of upset heels that are linked with the coupling base in a form-fit.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a fuel nozzle for use in an engine such as a gas turbine engine. The fuel nozzle includes a fuel injector for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber of the engine and a plurality of rows of holes surrounding the fuel injector for eliminating recirculation of hot gas products onto a face of the fuel nozzle. The holes eject air primarily in an axial direction.
Abstract: A method for cutting a blade root retention slot in a turbine engine disk element includes forming a precursor slot in the element. The precursor slot has first and second sidewalls and a base. A rotating bit is passed through the precursor slot to machine the base. The bit rotates about an axis off-normal to a direction of passing.
Abstract: A device comprising, additionally to the main jack, a balancing jack designed to facilitate manual opening of the hood from the in a forward movement for storing luggage in the trunk, and manual closure of hood in the opposite direction. The balancing jack has its base linked to the main jack and the free end of its piston rod fixed in articulation to the hood. It is designed so as not to obstruct the operation of the main jack for automatically opening or closing the hood. The device further comprises a device for actuating the balancing jack to enable the hood to be manually opened or closed.

Abstract: An apparatus and method may be used for welding a first panel to a second panel, the first panel having an inboard side partially contacting the second panel and an opposite outboard side. The apparatus has a welding beam generator. The apparatus reduces a pressure along the inboard side of the panel relative to an adjacent pressure along the outboard side so as to produce inward deflection of the first panel along a first portion of the first panel not contacting the second panel relative to a second portion. Abstract: The invention relates to a device for removing break-off pieces (12), especially waste parts, from a sheet of material containing blanks or similar flat pieces. An abutment device (20) which can move in a longitudinal direction is associated with a break-off tool (40, 42). The abutment device protrudes into a through opening (16). Even when said device is in a rest position it supports the break-off component or waste part of the sheet of material (10) in an approximately parallel position. When the waste part moves, its position can be modified by the break-off tool and brought into a specific angle of inclination in relation to the sheet of material, especially when the waste part is lowered.
