Abstract: A pixel structure of liquid crystal display including a first and a second sub-pixel electrodes, a first and a second data lines, a gate line, and a first and a second transistors is provided. The first and the second sub-pixel electrodes disposed in the first and second sub-pixel areas respectively include at least two display domains at left and right. The first data line is disposed under the interface between two domains of each of the first and second sub-pixel electrodes, and the second data line is disposed under the edges of the first and second sub-pixel electrodes. The gate line is disposed between the first and second sub-pixel areas. The first sub-pixel electrode is controlled by the gate line and the first data line through the first transistor. The second sub-pixel electrode is controlled by the gate line and the second data line through the second transistor.

Abstract: The present invention comprises a first substrate with a die formed on a die metal pad, a first and a second wiring circuits formed on the surfaces of the first substrate. A second substrate has a die opening window for receiving the die, a third wiring circuit is formed on top surface of the second substrate and a fourth wiring circuit on bottom surface of the second substrate. An adhesive material is filled into the gap between back side of the die and top surface of the first substrate and between the side wall of the die and the side wall of the die receiving through hole and the bottom side of the second substrate. During the formation, laser is introduced to cut the backside of the first substrate and an opening hole is formed in the first substrate to expose a part of the backside of the Au or Au/Ag metal layer of chip/die.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a porous phosphor and manufacturing method of the same. The method includes manufacturing an organic-inorganic hybrid porous structure from solution comprising deep eutectic solvent, the 13th group metal source, phosphorous acid source, and counter species source. With 4,4?-trimethylenedipyridine, the structure can be used as an intrinsic phosphor owning properties of photoluminescence without doping additional activator. The present invention also discloses a lighting device coated with the porous phosphor.
Abstract: An electrode anchoring structure in a crystal-growing furnace includes at least one graphite electrode pillar, at least one metal electrode pillar, at least one anchoring base, and at least one locking nut, wherein the graphite electrode pillar is engaged with a nut base of the metal electrode pillar, and the at least one metal electrode pillar is, through the anchoring base, is secured to furnace wall. Therefore, the at least one graphite electrode pillar acts both as weight support and electrical-conducting electrode. Since the flange welded on furnace wall has a greater area exposed to the atmosphere, a desirable cooling effect can be achieved, and temperature drop can be expedited if water spray is performed. The anchoring base is provided with a resilient washer, such that a resilient force can be employed to adjust loading of each graphite electrode pillar in an axial direction.
Abstract: An apparatus for the calibration of a sensor system has at least one sensor and at least one excitation source, a control device for controlling the sensor system, a calibration medium and a drive which moves the calibration medium into an optical path of the sensor system in a calibration mode and moves the calibration medium out of the optical path of the sensor system in an operating mode for the testing of measuring objects. The calibration medium has more than one reference, where the drive moves the calibration medium into the optical path of the sensor system so that one of the references covers a detection area of the sensor system, and the sensor system measures the reference located in the detection area.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a face tracking method for electronic camera devices. The method is applied to an electronic camera device having a face database and a face classifier, and the face database is provided for storing data such as a position, a size and a skin color prototype of a face in a previously stored preview image, and the method includes the steps of: obtaining a current preview image; determining whether or not a known face exists in the face database; defining a searching space on the current preview image; and using the face classifier to detect the searching space in the current preview image, and determining whether or not a face exists in the searching space.
Abstract: A timepiece with LED lights uses a simple light-medium body with a very rough finish to allow light from LED(s) to pass though input-end(s) of the light-medium body and travel within the body and obtain a very even brightness on all surfaces of the light medium that are seen by a viewer. Combined with a milky/frosted front sheet overlay, the light-medium surface can get perfect area illumination effects. The movement for the time display can include analog indicators with a guilt-in light-medium on the top cover to achieve a super slim LED illumination for the time piece. For night light application, the sealed-unit may consist of prong-means and an LED related circuit sealed within a safety standard plastic material and assembled with the night light body to save a lot of cost enable use of all kinds of materials. The invention may also be adapted to an LCD display timepiece.
Abstract: In an embodiment, an orthopedic device in the form of a lumbar support includes first and second elongate belt members, an anatomically shaped plate, and a closure system connecting the belt members to the plate. The closure system is arranged to move the belt members relative to the plate, and connects to the belt members via a flexible belt attachment which removably secures to the belt members. The closure system includes tensioning elements corresponding to the belt members, and a pulley system connecting to the tensioning elements. The closure system is slidably mounted to the plate and arranged to the belt members relative to the plate between opposed linear directions. The plate has various contours which provide pressure distribution over a lumbar region of a back. Anatomically shaped and resiliently formed handles secure to the tensioning elements and the belt members.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a heat exchange device equipped with a primary fluid circulation loop and a secondary fluid circulation loop and installed between an electrical equipment and a superficial temperature maintaining member, such that the heat generated by the electrical equipment is transmitted by a primary side fluid of the heat exchange device, and a secondary side fluid passes through a heat equalizer installed in the superficial temperature maintaining member so as to dissipate heat through the superficial temperature maintaining member.
Abstract: A hinge assembly has a pintle, a stationary leaf, a rotating leaf, a rotating pressing disk, a stationary pressing disk, a biasing assembly and a fastener. The rotating pressing disk is mounted rotatably around the pintle, is attached non-rotatably to the rotating leaf and has a track face, an inner track and an outer track. The stationary pressing disk is mounted securely around the pintle and has a protrusion face, an inner protrusion and an outer protrusion. The inner and outer protrusions respectively contact slidably with the inner and outer track on the rotating pressing disk. With the arrangement of the inner and outer tracks on the rotating pressing disk and the inner and outer protrusions on the stationary pressing disk, the resistance provided by the hinge assembly is variable.
Abstract: A de-interlacing system includes a motion adaptive de-interlacer, a horizontal motion estimation device, a horizontal motion compensation device, a vertical motion detection device, a multiplexer, and a film signal detector. The film signal detector receives an input signal and decides whether the input signal is a video stream or a film stream to thereby select an output from the motion adaptive de-interlacer or the horizontal motion estimation and compensation device. Thus, a de-interlacing output has stable and smooth edges when a video stream is inputted, and the motion judder phenomenon is reduced when a film stream is inputted.

The pressure measuring device offers reliable protection of the sensitive measuring membrane, or diaphragm, against mechanical distortions. Provided extending in the interior of the intermediate piece is an annular cavity, which surrounds a first cylindrical section and, pedestal end thereof, a second cylindrical section of the intermediate piece. The second cylindrical section has a greater outer diameter than the first cylindrical section. The cavity is open on an end of the intermediate piece toward the pedestal.

Abstract: A field device for data- and parameter-processing in a decentralized automation system, wherein other connected fieldbus components of the decentralized automation system communicate with one another via a fieldbus connected to the field device, and wherein a unified automation system is formed from a plurality of encapsulated function blocks, which run decentralized in the individual fieldbus components of the fieldbus and communicate with one another. Abstract: A central conductor of coaxial cable connector includes a barrel, at least one first spring plate group, and at least one second spring plate group. The barrel has two ends forming connection bores, opposite side surfaces respectively forming a first slit and a second slit, and top and bottom walls respectively forming a wall opening and a bottom wall opening. The first spring plate group and the second spring plate group are arranged opposite in direction to each other and each includes spring plates that are arranged to engage each other from upper and lower sides. Each of the spring plates has an end connected to the top or bottom wall of the barrel and an opposite end extending inward of the top wall opening or the bottom wall opening. As such, clamping force is enhanced, contact area is increased, and resiliency limit is improved, so as to provide excellent engagement between conductors.
Abstract: A heat absorbing or dissipating device has a multi-pipe arrangement for flowing thermal conductive fluids having a temperature difference. The thermal conductive fluids are reversely transported by a first fluid piping and second fluid piping of the multi-pipe arrangement and configured in way such that the piping has a parallel arrangement on a same end side of a heat dissipation or absorption receiving article or space.
Abstract: A secondary cell featuring a transient rise in temperature once charged to saturation is coupled and thereby forms a composite structure with a charging assembly by mutual engagement of conductive contacts provided on either part. The force of union generated by the coupling compresses a thermosetting prestressed means which is a spring or other prestressed element the coupling brings the contacts into conduction to initiate charging. The stress is released once charging in the secondary cell reaches its saturation, followed by cutoff of the charging current to the secondary cell.
