Abstract: A tilt and slide sun-roof comprises a mobile panel on each side of which is a sliding member comprising a first mobile panel pivot pin, a rail, a guide carriage and a guide fastened to the mobile panel. The guide carriage is movable in translation relative to said rail to tilt the mobile panel by rotating it about the first pivot pin and then sliding it. The guide carriage comprises a pivot pin so that the mobile panel is tilted by rotating the guide carriage about the second pivot pin during translatory movement of the guide carriage towards the rear of the mobile panel. It includes an arrangement for preventing rotation of the guide carriage during return movement of the guide carriage towards the front.

Abstract: A full-depth bottle case and at least one divider which is releasably snapped into the floor of the case and together therewith defines a plurality (e.g., nine) of bottle receiving pockets. The pattern of pockets thereby defined and thus the case are asymmetrical about both longitudinal and lateral axes thereof. To ensure that the case is properly aligned with respect to conveyors and other case handling equipment indicator arrows are provided on the outside case walls. The divider cannot be unsnapped from the case floor simply using fingers, to deter unauthorized removal. Rather, with the case inverted, tool is actuated downward at each of the divider snap locks to unlock them so that the divider can be removed and, if desired, replaced with a different divider to accommodate different sized bottles.

Abstract: The parity cell arrays are placed between the ordinary cell arrays and a second peripheral circuit. Data signal lines are provided between the ordinary cell arrays, between the ordinary cell arrays and the parity cell arrays, and between the parity cell arrays. These data signal lines are connected to read-write lines via data signal-line amplifier circuits. These data column-line amplifier circuits have almost the same construction. The data signal-line control circuit activates the data signal-line amplifier circuits during a write and a read operation to enable data transfer between the data signal lines and the read-write lines.
Abstract: An interface for a high-performance graphics adapter is provided in a computer system which includes a host processor, a coprocessor in the form of a graphics system processor, and memory addressable by both host and co-processors. An application computer program running on the host processor utilizes a graphics operating system, such as a Video Graphics Array Basic Input/Output System (VGA BIOS) to write graphics data in VGA format to the memory. A tactical address controller translates memory addresses generated by the VGA BIOS (and hence the host processor) into memory addresses recognized by the coprocessor. One or more graphics controllers store the graphics data, expanded into VGA format, into a VGA video random-access memory (RAM) buffer. A Format Translator, under the direction of the graphics system processor, then translates the VGA graphics data in the video RAM buffer into a packed pixel form, and the graphics data is displayed on a cathode ray tube (CRT).

Abstract: A rethermalization cart having top and bottom sides connected together by at least two side walls. Attached to the side walls at a plurality of vertically spaced positions are a plurality of tray supports. Attached adjacent and below the tray supports and in a cantilevered out position are a plurality of heating pads at each tray support location. Each of the pads is secured so that it can be individually disconnected, removed and replaced as needed. Switches within each individual heating pad are activated by covers that are positioned over the food. The use of the covers provides a positive indication whether the food is being heating since the switches are magnetic and the covers contain corresponding magnets. Thus, by leaving the cover off there is a positive assurance that the food will remain cold.

Abstract: When remote control data has been input during calling in analog mode, a mobile radio communication apparatus according to the invention outputs a predetermined first voice frequency signal indicative of the remote control data and transmitting the signal to a radio link, and outputs the first voice frequency signal. Further, when remote control data has been input during calling in digital mode, the mobile radio communication apparatus outputs message data indicative of the remote control data and transmitting the message data to a radio link, generates a second voice frequency signal corresponding to the input remote control data and also the first voice frequency signal, and outputs the second voice frequency signal before the message data is transmitted.
Abstract: A semiconductor device comprises a plurality of circuits formed on an IC chip area, having electric power systems each being independent, a plurality of power potential supply wires connected to the plurality of circuits, respectively, a plurality of power potential supply terminals connected to the plurality of power potential supply wires, respectively, at least one pad for voltage stress test formed on the IC chip area, and controllers for controlling a predetermined voltage stress to be applied from one of the plurality of power potential supply terminals to all power potential supply wires on the IC chip area by use of an input from the pad for voltage stress test.
Abstract: The invention concerns a signal frequency processing device for measuring the frequency of an input signal with the aid of very simple counters. The input signal to be measured is divided into two, four or even more partial signals, each partial signal having a frequency which is half, a fourth or an even higher fraction of the input signal's frequency. In this way rather slow, cheap and small counting devices can be used for counting fractions of the input signal which are later accumulated again to end up with a frequency which is identical with the frequency of the input signal. The input signal is thus retrieved.

Abstract: The novel composition of the present invention comprises a paper-like sheet material or a non-woven mat which contains water-insoluble gypsum anhydrite microfibers and a cellulosic binder, such as cellulose fibers, optionally with glass fibers, which has surprising fire-retardant properties. Typical paper processing methods or wet process mat techniques are utilized in preparing this material. The flexible gypsum microfiber sheet or mat of this invention may be used as microfiber insulation, particularly in a fire retardant barrier.

Abstract: The epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene is amplified in 40% of malignant gliomas and the amplified genes are frequently rearranged. The genetic alterations associated with these rearrangements are characterized in five malignant gliomas. In one tumor, the rearrangement resulted in the deletion of most of the extracytoplasmic domain of the receptor, resulting in a hybrid mRNA between new sequences and the truncated EGFR. The predicted amino acid sequence of the protein from this tumor was remarkably similar to that described for several viral erb-B oncogenes. Four other tumors were noted to have internal deletions of the EGF receptor gene. These rearrangements brought about in-frame deletions affecting either of two cysteine-rich domains in the extracytoplasmic portion of the molecule. The clonal nature of these alterations, and the fact that identical alterations were seen in more than one tumor, suggests a role for these mutant receptor proteins in tumorigenesis.

Abstract: A water craft having a hull with trolling motors contained within the hull and either an inboard or outboard motor as the primary motor for moving the water craft is described. The trolling motors are contained either in angled recesses or angled passageways. Control of the motors can be accomplished by using one of at least two control devices. The hull or the like can help to insulate the motors such that noise is reduced.
