Control of a duty cycle of the switching voltage is provided by sensing and feeding back the regulated output voltage. The bypass resistance is controlled based on an integration of a difference between the duty cycle and a maximum duty cycle.

One method includes a method of a wireless access node within a wireless mesh network timing transmission of multiple BSSID beacons. The method includes the access node identifying multiple personalities of the wireless mesh network, wherein a separate MAC address corresponding with each of the personalities. The access node assigns a beacon type for each of the personalities. During each transmission frame, the access node consecutively transmits a plurality of the beacon types, wherein the different beacon types are consecutively spaced during transmission by a predetermined period. The predetermined period is substantially less than a time duration of each transmission frame.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method of interfacing physical layer (PHY) control with media access control (MAC) is disclosed. One method includes signaling to the PHY control to operate in a low-power mode when the MAC is detected to be transmitting idle patterns. The MAC transitioning from transmitting the idle patterns to transmitting data can be detected. When the transition is detected, the PHY control is signaled to transition to a wake up mode. Data from the MAC is buffered while the PHY control is in the wake up mode. The buffered data is provided to the PHY control after the PHY control has completed the wake up mode.

At least another portion of the cancellation echo signal of the receive signal is canceled by summing the residual echo cancellation signal with the receive signal.
