Abstract: A method and system for managing a line topology is provided by the embodiments of the disclosure. The method for managing a line topology includes obtaining an actual transfer function of the line according to the actual transfer function of the line and a transfer function of the bridge tap model, estimating a diameter and length of the bridge tap of the line and a diameter and length of the trunk line of the line according to the estimated diameter and length of the bridge tap and the diameter and length of the trunk line, obtaining a transfer function of the line model that includes the location parameter of the bridge tap by comparing the error between the actual transfer function and the transfer function of the line model which includes the location parameter of the bridge tap, estimating the position of the bridge tap according to the estimated diameter and length of the trunk line and the diameter and length of the bridge tap and the location of the bridge tap, and generating a topology of the line.

Abstract: A method of storing data onto a non-volatile memory includes receiving, from a host, first data that is originally assigned to a first storage area, programming the first data to a second storage area, receiving second data from the host, and while receiving the second data from the host, programming, to the first storage area, the first data that has been programmed to the second storage area, wherein the second data is received from the host simultaneously with the first data being programmed to the first storage area. Abstract: A system is described for providing real time locating and gas exposure monitoring. The system may include a memory, interface, and processor. The memory may store an alarm data item including an amount of gas exposure and a location identifier. The processor may receive the alarm data item from a sensor device of a first user. The processor may identify a relative location of the first user based on the location identifier. The processor may determine a second user located within a proximity of the first user. The processor may communicate to the second user the relative location of the first user and the gas exposure of the first user. The processor may receive, from the second user, an indication of whether an emergency responder should be contacted. The processor may initiate communication with an emergency responder if the indication indicates an emergency responder should be contacted.

Abstract: It is intended to provide a CMOS image sensor with a high degree of pixel integration. A solid-state imaging device comprises a signal line formed on a Si substrate, an island-shaped semiconductor formed on the signal line, and a pixel selection line. The island-shaped semiconductor includes: a first semiconductor layer connected to the signal line; a second semiconductor layer located above and adjacent to the first semiconductor layer; a gate connected to the second semiconductor layer through an insulating film; and a charge storage section comprised of a third semiconductor layer connected to the second semiconductor layer and adapted, in response to receiving light, to undergo a change in amount of electric charges therein; a fourth semiconductor layer located above and adjacent to the second and third semiconductor layers. The pixel selection line is connected to the fourth semiconductor layer formed as a top portion of the island-shaped semiconductor.

Abstract: An oscillating positive expiratory pressure apparatus having a housing defining a chamber, a chamber inlet, a chamber outlet, a deformable restrictor member positioned in an exhalation flow path between the chamber inlet and the chamber outlet, and an oscillation member disposed within the chamber. The deformable restrictor member and the oscillation member are moveable between an engaged position, where the oscillation member is in contact with the deformable restrictor member and an disengaged position, where the oscillation member is not in contact with the deformable restrictor member. The deformable restrictor member and the oscillation member move from the engaged position to the disengaged position in response to a first exhalation pressure at the chamber inlet, and move from the disengaged position to an engaged position in response to a second exhalation pressure at the chamber inlet.
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a magnetic sheet includes a slurry sheet forming step, a local magnetic field applying step, and a slurry curing step. In the slurry sheet forming step, slurry is formed by mixing flat soft magnetic metal powder in a binding material, and a slurry sheet is formed by shaping the slurry into a sheet. In the local magnetic field applying step, only the orientation of the flat soft magnetic metal powder, which exists in the partial area, of the entire flat soft magnetic metal powder mixed in the slurry sheet is unified in a predetermined direction by locally applying a magnetic field to a partial area of the expanded slurry sheet in a predetermined direction. In the slurry curing step, a magnetic sheet is formed by curing the slurry sheet after the local magnetic field applying step.
Abstract: An electric signal digitizing device includes a line of propagation through which the signal travels and a plurality of samplers (141, . . . , 14N) connected at separate points on the line of propagation, such that each one samples the signal value at the connection point thereof. The device further includes an analog matrix memory including a line of which at least some elements are each connected to a sampler of the plurality of samplers to receive the value sampled by the sampler, and a means for the line-to-line shifting of stored values. An analog-digital conversion means is also provided for the analog-digital conversion of the stored values.

Abstract: An indicating device suitable for indicating the number of metered dosages that have been dispensed from or remain in a container including a base member, a cap member moveably connected to the base member, an indicator member rotatably mounted to one of the cap member and base member and a drive member. The indicator member comprises a first stop member, and the drive member comprises a second stop member. The first stop member engages the second stop member as the indicator is moved to the final position. The engagement between the first and second stop members prevents the drive member from being rotated about the second axis. In another preferred embodiment, an inhalation device for dispensing metered dosages of medicaments from a container includes a container having a predetermined number of metered doses and the indicating device. A method for indicating the number of metered dosages of medicaments dispensed from or remaining in the container is also provided.

Abstract: A system and method for ultrasonically guided endoscopic (EUS) delivery of one or more embolization coils to an internal body site. The embolization coil delivery devices are preferably ultrasonically guided to the selected internal body site after being advanced through the working channel of an endoscope with its distal end located near the selected internal body site. In one aspect, the system and method may be utilized to deploy an embolization coil into a lesion to promote thrombosis and/or prevent bleeding.

The liquid crystal display includes a timing controller, N source drive integrated circuits (ICs), where N is an integer equal to or greater than 2, N pairs of data bus lines, each of which connects the timing controller to each of the N source drive ICs in a point-to-point manner, a lock check line that connects a first source drive IC of the N source drive ICs to the timing controller and cascade-connects the N source drive ICs to one another, a feedback check line that connects a last source drive IC of the N source drive ICs to the timing controller.
Abstract: A method for forming an extracellular matrix material (ECM) material includes providing at least an ECM composition containing ECM particles varying in their capacity for migration through a fluid medium, including at least one population of expanded ECM particles. The ECM composition is combined in a fluid medium to form a flowable ECM composition. The flowable ECM composition is subjected to a centrifugal force in a mold for a period of time sufficient to distribute the ECM particles according to differences in their physical characteristics. The ECM composition is dried to form a dried ECM material having a density gradient extending from a less dense region to a more dense region. The dried ECM material may formed as a porous, substantially acellular ECM material expandable in an aqueous fluid environment by at least 100% in volume.

Abstract: An inter-network tunnel switching method includes the following steps: a first inter-network interconnection device on a first network sets up a second tunnel between the first inter-network interconnection device and a second inter-network interconnection device on a second network and triggers the switching from a first tunnel to the second tunnel. The first and second tunnels are configured to forward signaling between a mobile station (MS) on the first network and the second network or between an MS on the second network and the first network. A first inter-network interconnection device is also provided.
