  • Patent number: 8319461
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a system for controlling a permanent magnet excited, brushless, electronically commutated, three-phase electric motor (2) wherein a single-phase main AC voltage (UN) having a mains frequency (fN) is rectified and supplied to an inverter (8) via a slender intermediate circuit (6) containing no, or minimum, intermediate circuit reactance as intermediate circuit voltage (Uz) pulsating at double the mains frequency (2fN) which is actuated for powering and commutating the electric motor (2). Control takes place by means of a field-oriented current-space vector regulator, wherein a q-current (iq) as torque-forming component of the current-space vector (i) is regulated perpendicularly to the permanent magnetic field and a d-current (id) can be regulated as a field-influencing component of the current-space vector (i) in the direction of the permanent magnet field.

  • Patent number: 8321686
Abstract: A secure memory card with encryption capabilities comprises various life cycle states that allow for testing of the hardware and software of the card in certain of the states. The testing mechanisms are disabled in certain other of the states thus closing potential back doors to secure data and cryptographic keys. Controlled availability and generation of the keys required for encryption and decryption of data is such that even if back doors are accessed that previously encrypted data is impossible to decrypt and thus worthless even if a back door is found and maliciously pried open.

  • Patent number: 8320363
Abstract: The embodiment of the present invention discloses an implementation method of IMS interception, a system and a device thereof. The method includes allocating media anchor points to communication parties; and copying communication content to complete interception of the communication content when the communication parties communicate through the media anchor points. In the present invention, the interception of the communication content can be implemented on the media anchor points instead of the existing media access equipment, thus implementing centralized interception of a media on an IMS network, and ensuring that users accessing the IMS network in various modes can implement the centralized interception of the media on an IMS core without requirement for access side equipment or an extended private interface between the IMS core and the access side equipment.

  • Patent number: 8319568
Abstract: A method for compensating an oscillation frequency, a device, and a phase locked loop (PLL) is applied in the LC oscillating loop, including: sending voltage control signals to one end of a variable capacitor of an LC oscillating loop to generate oscillating signals in the LC oscillating loop through the voltage control signals; obtaining variable bias voltage that reflects changes of external parameters; and sending the variable bias voltage to the other end of the variable capacitor to compensate changes to the oscillation frequency of oscillation signals generated in the LC oscillating loop. This disclosure compensates the changes to the oscillation frequency of the circuit that contains the LC oscillating loop and improves the stability of the circuit oscillation frequency by sending bias voltage to one end of the variable capacitor of the LC oscillating loop.

  • Patent number: 8312640
Abstract: A cloth dryer includes heat-pump (30), rotary tub (5) for accommodating clothes (4) to be dried, blower (12) for supplying air heated by heat radiator (23) to rotary tub (5), and heat-exchange air flow paths (22, 24) for circulating the air stayed in rotary tub (5) through heat radiator (23) via heat absorber (21). Fins striding over heat absorber (21) and heat radiator (23) allow integrating absorber (21) and radiator (23) into one body which can be thus placed within air-flow paths (22, 24). Heat-transfer reducing section (32) is formed on the fins between heat absorber (21) and heat radiator (23) for reducing the heat transfer via the fins between heat absorber (21) and heat radiator (23). The foregoing structure can prevent frost and ice produced on heat absorber (21) from growing, so that a compact cloth dryer excellent in drying performance is obtainable.

  • Patent number: 8314444
Abstract: A piezoresistive pressure sensor is provided, which can prevent the occurrence of ESD breakdown due to the nearness of interconnection layers of a resistive element according to miniaturization thereof. The piezoresistive pressure sensor is so configured that respective semiconductor resistive layers on both sides of an arrangement are formed to be relatively longer than an adjacent semiconductor resistive layer, and thus a corner portion of a semiconductor connection layer that extends from the respective semiconductor resistive layers on both sides of the arrangement and a corner portion of the semiconductor interconnection layer that is nearest to the corner portion of the semiconductor connection layer, between which the ESD breakdown occurs easily, can be separated from each other.

Abstract: This invention concerns the control of rotating excavation machinery, for instance to avoid collisions with obstacles. In a first aspect the invention is a control system for autonomous path planning in excavation machinery, comprising: A map generation subsystem to receive data from an array of disparate and complementary sensors to generate a 3-Dimensional digital terrain and obstacle map referenced to a coordinate frame related to the machine's geometry, during normal operation of the machine. An obstacle detection subsystem to find and identify obstacles in the digital terrain and obstacle map, and then to refine the map by identifying exclusion zones that are within reach of the machine during operation. A collision detection subsystem that uses knowledge of the machine's position and movements, as well as the digital terrain and obstacle map, to identify and predict possible collisions with itself or other obstacles, and then uses a forward motion planner to predict collisions in a planned path.
