The nested references in the input regular expression are replaced with the respective referenced regular expressions, so as to provide a modified regular expression that does not contain nested references. The modified regular expression is matched to a target string.

Abstract: A method for assigning tangible assets to workplaces includes receiving input data provided at an input interface, the input data including information about a situation that requires to update a structure of current assignments of specific tangible assets to specific workplaces, selecting, dependent upon the information of the received input data, a workplace profile from a profile database, wherein the workplace profile corresponds to a workplace type and includes a predefined set of asset types, of which types specific tangible assets can be to be assigned to a specific workplace of the workplace type, retrieving, from an assignment database, assignment data including information about the current assignment structure, comparing the selected workplace profile with the retrieved assignment data, determining an update proposal for updating the current assignment structure, and providing output data to an output interface, the output data including information about the update proposal.

Abstract: The invention provides a method and system for classifying insurance files for identification, sorting and efficient collection of subrogation claims. The invention determines whether an insurance claim has merit to warrant claim recovery efforts utilizing software code for partially describing a set of documents having unstructured and structured file data containing terms and phrases having contextual bases, code for transforming the terms and phrases, code for iterating a classification process to determine rules that best classify the set of documents based upon context, code for incorporating the rules into an induction and knowledge representation, thesauri taxonomies and text summarization to classify subrogation claims; code for calculating a base score and a concept vector to identify the selected claims that demonstrate a given probability of subrogation recovery.

Abstract: A marine anti-bio-fouling coating 10, for application onto the surface of a marine article 12. The coating 10 comprises a self-levelling, self-curing epoxy resin primer adhesive 14, an adhesive modified epoxy resin binder adhesive 16 and granulated Copper Nickel alloy 18. When a coated marine article 12 is immersed in water a chemical reaction occurs between the water and the Copper Nickel alloy 18 which causes a film of a complex metal oxide 20 to form on the exterior surface of the layer of Copper Nickel alloy granules 18. The oxide film 20 forms an inhospitable environment to aquatic organisms and aquatic borers, thereby preventing bio-fouling occurring on the coated marine article. A method of applying the coating 10 to a marine article 12 is also provided.

Abstract: According to some embodiments, a test fluid may be provided into a chamber associated with a cooling system for an electronic integrated circuit. Moreover, a valve may be partially inserted into an opening of the chamber to seal the chamber. The valve may include a first sealing portion to seal the chamber at the opening when the valve shaft is inserted the first distance. The valve may then be inserted an intermediate distance, between the first distance and a second distance, to unseal the chamber. Note that the valve may include a second sealing portion, offset from the first sealing portion, to seal the chamber at the opening when the valve is inserted the second distance. The valve may further define a passage, between the first and second sealing portions, to permit a flow of the test fluid when the valve is inserted the intermediate distance.

Abstract: The immunoassay element for quantitatively analyzing an antigen by determining the change in enzymatic activity of an enzyme-labelled antigen or antibody caused by an immunological reaction. The immunoassay element comprises a substrate layer containing a non-diffusible substrate which forms a diffusible material in the presence of the labelling enzyme, and a reagent layer containing a fragmenting enzyme for further fragmenting the diffusible material into a lower molecular weight product. As the non-diffusible substrate, a substrate capable of reacting solely with the labelling enzyme and incapable of reacting the fragmenting enzyme is utilized. When an endo-active glucosidase is used as the labelling enzyme, and an exo-active glucosidase is used the fragmenting enzyme in the reagent layer, the non-diffusible substrate of the substrate layer is preferred to be an endo type selectively reactive substrate, which means a substrate having a reactivity specific to endo-active glucosidase.
