    Abstract: The hinge unit K of a variable capacity swash plate type compressor has support arms protruded to the back side of a rotor on the rotating drive shaft, and guide pins, one end of which is fixed to a rotatable and wobbling swash plate. The support arms have guide holes (guide surfaces) which extend in a predetermined direction having an angle .alpha. with respect to an axis perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the drive shaft. Sections perpendicular to the center lines L.sub.1 of the guide holes are formed into at least a partial circle. A spherical elements of the guide pins are slidably and rotatably engaged with the guide holes of the support arms to be in line contact with the guide surface of the guide holes. The angle .alpha. is set so that the top clearance TC of the respective pistons at both maximum and minimum compression capacities of the compressor is equivalent.

    Abstract: A process for manufacturing derivatives of 2-phenyl-4,5-oxazoledione 4-phenylhyrazone is disclosed. The process comprises reacting a derivative of a benezenediazonium salt, a hippuric acid derivative, and acetic anhydride in the presence of a neutralizing agent to effect the cyclization reaction for the formation of the oxazolone ring and the succeeding diazo-coupling reaction. The process does not require the conventional separate, independent step for the preparation of a solution of a hippuric acid derivative and acetic anhydride, thus eliminating the quick heating and quenching procedures and further avoiding the loss of the hippuric acid derivative due to decomposition of the oxazolone derivative. There is thus obtained a high yield of the desired product in a short period of time.

The form B crystals have excellent filtration property and flowability, so that they can be handled markedly easily at the time of filtration for their large scale production or when they are made into pharmaceutical preparations and therefore are useful in view of their industrial production.

The central bore has an open end at the front end of the cylinder block and an opposite closed end. Pistons are slidably provided within the cylinder bores for reciprocation. A pair of radial bearings, which are provided in the central bore, supports the axially extending drive shaft. An oil separator is provided between the compressor and the external circuit to remove lubricating oil contained in the high pressure gas.

    Abstract: An axial multi-piston compressor includes a drive shaft, a cylinder block having cylinder bores formed therein and surrounding the drive shaft, and a plurality of pistons slidably received in the respective cylinder bores, wherein the pistons are successively reciprocated in the cylinder bores by a rotation of the drive shaft so that a suction stroke and a discharge stroke are alternately executed in each of the cylinder bores. During the suction stroke, a fluid is introduced into the cylinder bore, and during the compression stroke, the introduced fluid is compressed and discharged from the cylinder bore such that a residual part of the compressed fluid is inevitably left in the cylinder bore when the compression stroke is finished. The compressor further includes a rotary valve for allowing the residual part of the compressed fluid to escape from the cylinder bore into another cylinder bore governed by the compression stroke.
