C., and maintaining the resulting reaction medium at 100.degree.-230.degree. C. while stirring for at least 20 minutes. Such bitumen/polymer compositions may be used directly or in dilute form to provide bituminous binders for road surfaces, coated materials and sealing coatings.

C. and 230.degree. C.
