Abstract: A seat assembly for a vehicle comprising a four joint link mechanism for storing a seat into concave portion provided on a floor of the vehicle and a motor device driving the four joint link mechanism, wherein a wire harness connected to the motor device is wired in a space provided between a cover attached to a rear link which forms the four joint link mechanism and the rear link.
Abstract: The present invention provides a planographic printing plate precursor comprising a photosensitive layer on a support, the photosensitive layer including an infrared absorbent, a radical polymerization initiator and a radical polymerizing compound, the photosensitive layer being recordable with irradiation with an infrared ray, and being at least one of soluble and dispersible in water.
Abstract: A woven tubing for use in a stent type blood vascular prosthesis, using a monofilament having a flattening in the range of 1.2-5.0 and a size in the range of 11-250 dtex in at least part of the warp and a stent type blood vascular prosthesis using the tubing are disclosed. The prosthesis combines a shape retaining property that is capable of maintaining its tubular shape without being crushed by the flow of blood with a high liquid tightness that is capable of reducing the leakage of blood to the exterior and allows prevention of the inflow of blood into the lesion.
Abstract: An apparatus for chip removing machining includes first and second parts which are intercoupled by a coupling. The coupling includes two interacting surfaces disposed on the first and second parts, respectively. The interacting surfaces are profiled to intermesh with one another to define an intermeshing region of the coupling. Each of the surfaces is profiled with first and second sets of grooves which define first and second main directions, respectively, which extend transversely to one another. At least one groove on each of the surfaces extends across less than the entire intermeshing region, wherein the surfaces define only one coupling position for the first and second parts.

Abstract: An optical recording medium having a phase transition material film and a method of manufacturing the optical recording medium are provided. In the method, first, a phase transition material film, a sacrificial film, and a metal film are sequentially stacked on a substrate. Next, the metal film is anodized to form a metal oxide film having a plurality of holes, and portions of the sacrificial film exposed through the holes are anode-oxidized to form oxide films. Thereafter, the phase transition material film is patterned by removing the metal oxide film and by etching the sacrificial film and the phase transition material film using the oxide films as a mask. Then, the oxide films are removed from the sacrificial film, and an upper insulation film, a reflection film, and a protection film are deposited on the upper surface of the patterned phase transition material film.

Abstract: An optical information recording medium is here disclosed which comprises a transparent substrate, a recording layer comprising an organic dyestuff on which information can be written by a laser beam, a reflective layer and a protective layer formed in this order on the substrate, the aforesaid optical information recording medium being characterized by containing a pit-edge control agent for the formation of recording pits, particularly a dyestuff thermal decomposition accelerator in the recording layer. By the addition of the pit-edge control agent, deviation properties and jitter properties can be remarkably improved, whereby a CD-R medium having a low error rate and good recording properties can be provided. In consequence, stable compatibility with a commercial CD player can be secured.
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Argyranthemum plant named ‘OHAR01245’ characterized by its double inflorescence form with pink-colored ray florets and purple/yellow bi-colored disc florets, freely branching character, medium green-colored foliage and compact upright growth habit.
Abstract: A new and distinct Floribunda rose plant is provided that forms on a nearly continuous basis attractive bright yellow-orange blossoms. The growth habit is vigorous and bushy. The semi-glossy foliage is dense, dark green and of good substance and contrasts nicely with the yellow-orange blossom coloration. Very good tolerance to Black Spot and Oidium is displayed under normal growing conditions. The plant is well suited for growing as attractive ornamentation in parks and gardens.
Abstract: A lens device which can be used as an objective lens in an optical pickup apparatus includes an objective lens provided along a light path facing a disc and having a predetermined effective diameter, and light controlling means provided along the light path for controlling the light in an intermediate region between near and far axes of an incident light beam, thus providing a simplified and inexpensive device for using discs of differing thickness in a single disc drive, by reducing the spherical aberration effect.

Abstract: Provided is a novel summer gasoline composition which is substantially free of ethers, contains less than 20 ppm sulfur, and is in compliance with the California Predictive Model. The gasoline composition is suitable for use in the summer, i.e., having a Reid vapor pressure of 7.2, and more preferably 7.0 or less, but also offers the advantages of low-emissions while being substantially free of ethers. The method for blending the gasoline comprises blending streams from a refinery in a controlled manner to maintain compliance with the California Predictive Model.
Abstract: A vehicle drive system includes a compact drive mode-shifting mechanism that is mounted in the final drive gearset of a vehicle. The drive mode-shifting mechanism includes a first shaft, a second shaft, and a clutch assembly. The first shaft forms an input shaft for the differential for a pair of wheels, the second shaft transmits engine power and the clutch assembly connects and disconnects the first and second shafts to one another to effect either the two-wheel-drive mode or the four-wheel-drive mode. The first shaft has an outer surface provided with a first spline, the second shaft has an outer surface provided with a second spline, and said clutch assembly includes an axially movable shifting member provided with an internal spline.
