Abstract: Disclosed herein is a glass sheet substrate and process for making the same with a first wear surface, an obverse, second surface including a thermoset image receiving coating having a complete, unitary sublimated ink image that is viewable with minimal loss of resolution and clarity from the first side through the thickness of the glass sheet substrate.
Abstract: An exercise apparatus used by an individual that is performing a variation of a push-up exercise. The exercise apparatus includes a footing, a lower housing, a lower housing cap, a bearing element, and an upper platform. The footing is attached to the lower housing and prevents the lower housing from rotating or laterally moving along a floor or other support surface. The upper platform rotates relative to the lower housing through the bearing element, which rests on the lower housing cap. The upper platform has either an ergonomical handle or a punch pad attached to it for an individual to utilize the exercise apparatus through.
Abstract: Disclosed is a multiphase lubricant composition formed of an emulsion containing (a) a lubricant first phase, (b) a second phase formed of boric acid and a liquid that is a solvent for boric acid, but immiscible in the first phase, such as glycerol, and (c) a surfactant.
Abstract: A liquid gas vaporization and measurement system, and associated method, for efficiently vaporizing a continuous sample of liquid gas, such as liquid natural gas (LNG), and accurately determining the constituent components of the gas. A constant flow of liquid gas sampled from a mass storage device is maintained in a vaporizing device. Within the vaporizing device the liquid gas is flash vaporized within heated narrow tubing. The liquid gas is converted to vapor very quickly as it enters one or more independently operating vaporizer stages within the vaporizing device. The vapor gas is provided to a measuring instrument such as a chromatograph and the individual constituent components and the BTU value of the gas are determined to an accuracy of within +/?0.5 mole percent and 1 BTU, respectively.
Abstract: A laminate circuit board package having a thermal heat spreader or heatslug thermally coupled to an electrical component such as an integrated circuit (IC) in order to dissipate heat within the IC by forming a heatpath away from the IC. The heat spreader is preferably formed of high performance thermal materials and thermally coupled to the IC. The heat spreader is configured to provide an enhanced thermal passage that efficiently facilitates the flow of heat away from the chip. The thermal heat spreader is coupled to the IC via one or more holes formed in the laminate board to efficiently disperse heat away from the chip and onto an attached motherboard.

Abstract: A method for graphically displaying central processing unit consumption for at least one variable capacity or uncapped partition including displaying CPU utilization or consumption of at least one variable capacity or uncapped partition in a variable-size colored pie chart. The pie chart shows time spent in at least one of user mode, operating system mode, I/O wait mode, or idle mode, with each mode being represented by a different color. An entitlement indicator is displayed for the effective minimum capacity of the at least one variable capacity or uncapped partition.

Abstract: An energy attenuating apparatus for use with a seat includes an elongated attenuator having a resistance to bending which varies along its length. A bending mechanism defining a nonlinear path receives the attenuator. Translation of the bending mechanism relative to the attenuator in a lengthwise direction of the attenuator produces bending of the attenuator to absorb energy applied to the energy attenuating apparatus.
Abstract: A method and an apparatus capable of providing a predicted completion time for heating and/or cooling of an item based on a manually entered length of time and/or a determination of the amount of time remaining before an item such as food reaches a desired temperature such as a cooking temperature or approximately room temperature. In at least one embodiment, determining the amount of time remaining is based at least on the elapsed time and the percentage of temperature range between a first temperature and the desired temperature completed or remaining to be covered.

Abstract: A protein skimmer for filtering and cleaning water in an aquarium having a foam generating assembly having an air chamber (73) and a nozzle (74) in the air chamber, the nozzle being provided with a plurality of air holes (741) and being connected to an inlet tube (71), the inlet tube communicating with a foam cavity within a vertical guide tube (20) for foam, the guide tube (20) generally being tapered as a whole and including an open upper end (202), a bottom end (203) and a hollow cone-shaped circumferential wall being formed between the upper end and the bottom end and encircling the foam cavity (21) thereby tapering toward and communicating with the upper end (202).
Abstract: An amplifier device for amplifying RF communication signals compatible with IEEE 802.11 standards. An amplifier circuit is housed within a cylindrical metal housing that provides excellent heat dissipation and requires no mounting hardware for installing the device within a communication system. The metal housing with an integrated lightning arrestor creates a watertight seal to protect the amplifier circuit from damage when installed outdoors and the amplifier circuit is compatible with both 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz frequency applications.

Abstract: A location messaging system creates and delivers messages in a global virtual space, at the best time and location, in the optimal context. The recipient can be either generally or specifically targeted. The location message criteria can be formatted so that only a specific group of people see the message. Location messaging leaves “triggers” in a virtual location, that can be either action or time related. Using action triggers, the location message will not be delivered until the recipient performs the predetermined action. That action includes things like visiting a web page/site, opening or editing a document, scanning a badge through a badge reader, buying a product from a store, or combining physical aspects to these virtual actions. Using time triggers, the location message has the ability to increase or decrease delivery or importance levels automatically.
