  • Patent number: 6148293
Abstract: An operatively interconnected data processing and computing system is provided for creating, servicing and paying loan agreements between a lender and borrower providing for repayment of the loan together with interest at a periodically adjusted rate based on the terms of the agreement. The system includes data processing for a novel form of relationship management links, supervising and balancing the interests of contractholders, marketing agents, financial intermediaries, investment managers, investment bankers, custodians, rating agencies and an issuing entity.

  • Patent number: 6146685
Abstract: A dry powder, for example, a medicament for an inhaler, comprises elongated particles with an aspect ratio sufficient to cause the particles to be bound to a preferably metal or non-metallic sheet material substrate at the particle tips by electrostatic deposition and for aligning a plurality of particles with their major axes aligned normal to the substrate and oriented tip-to-tip. Particles deposited form a low density, high relative void deposition to minimize attractive forces between the particles. This minimizes agglomeration and bonding forces to the substrate facilitating the release of a powdered medicament in an inhaler. Medicament dosages in a substrate pocket are covered by a sealing layer. An embodiment of a drug dosage inhaler substrate and inhaler is disclosed.

  • Patent number: 6135002
Abstract: A circular cylindrical bearing section for a die cutter blanket comprises two segments pivoted relative to each other at one interface therebetween and resiliently urged radially apart by spring plungers at a second interface therebetween. A blanket section is wrapped about the two segments which are resiliently urged against the overlying blanket section secured to the bearing section by a conventional channel in the bearing and mating male-female interlocking members on the blanket. An array of bearing-blanket sections on an anvil roll are axially coupled by annularly spaced mating pins and notches at opposite axially facing edges of the bearing sections. The array of bearing-blanket sections are selectively slid as a unit along the anvil roll to rapidly relocate the blanket sections to minimize local blanket wear. The interlock members of each blanket section may be misaligned axially with the respect to the interlock members of the adjacent blanket sections.

  • Patent number: 6136375
Abstract: This invention provides making a rotogravure printing medium which includes a member coated with a film that is selectively removable to produce ink-retaining cells. A series of adjacent strip or bead portions of a self leveling, curable plastic composition which is engraveable after curing is provided on the surface of the member. The adjacent strip or bead portions merge and self level at and after deposition to produce a uniform, continuous coating of the plastic composition.

  • Patent number: 6131407
Abstract: A conventional air separator unit separates nitrogen, oxygen or argon merchant gas to be liquefied. Input pressurized natural gas is processed through a pressure letdown liquefaction system including gas separators for removing moisture and for drying the gas. The dried gas is then separated into large and small gas stream portions wherein CO.sub.2 in the smaller portion is removed. The two portions are passed through a first heat exchanger from which the larger portion is expanded which cools it and then passed through two heat exchangers including the first exchanger, used to regenerate the CO.sub.2 separator and drier and then returned to the input stream.
