  • Patent number: 6976592
Abstract: A liquid/solids waste separator apparatus for use in separating animal waste or waste water into filtered liquid and collected solid waste particles. It has an elongated housing having a pair of support legs attached adjacent to the rear end of the housing for varying the inclination angle of the housing. Positioned downward from the top edge of the housing is an elongated mesh screen that extends substantially the length of the housing. A plurality of nozzles are laterally spaced from each other and connected to the top of a tube that extends transversely beneath the mesh screen. A carriage supports the opposite ends of the tube and it has wheels that ride along tracks supported on opposite lateral sides of the mesh screen. An electric motor drives a chain passing around a pair of sprocket gears in the housing. A drive peg extends laterally from the chain and it is captured by a guide member whose bottom end is connected to the carriage.

Abstract: A carpenters pencil sharpener having a body member having a T-shaped opening in its front wall. The body member has an interior pencil sharpening chamber having respective left and right upper support platforms and respective left and right lower support platforms. There are respective left and right upper ramps that extend inwardly from the T-shaped opening to the respective left and right upper support platforms. There are also respective left and right lower ramps that extend inwardly from the T-shaped opening to the respective left and right lower support platforms. A transversely extending blade member has a rearwardly extending cutting edge that extends into the interior pencil sharpening chamber. The T-shaped opening of the pencil sharpener allows a carpenters pencil to be inserted at four different 90 degree positions in order to sharpen the four different sides of the carpenters pencil.

  • Patent number: 6922938
Abstract: A fishing lure configured to simulate a squid. It has an elongated body member that tapers at its front end and has a front ring for attachment to a fishing line. An elongated head member is connected to the front end of the body member by structure that allows the head member to freely wobble upwardly, downwardly, to the left and to the right at acute angles to the longitudinal axis of the body member. The connecting structure also includes structure that allows the head member to freely rotate approximately 180 degrees about the longitudinal axis of the head member. A plurality of flexible tentacles extend from an annular skirt that is secured to the rear end of the head member. The tentacles hide a hook that is attached to structure extending from the head member.

  • Patent number: 6895921
Abstract: An epicyclic cross piston engine having a four, six or more cylinders. It has individual pairs of pistons rigidly connected together by connecting rods. The pistons travel axially in their respective cylinders for a complete reciprocal cycle. The cylinders are oriented at ninety degrees to each other. Connecting the respective rods together are a pair of crankshafts and a drive link that is connected to an output shaft. A substantially 360 rotation of said output shaft is produced by the complete reciprocal travel of each of the pistons in their respective cylinders.

  • Patent number: 6825574
Abstract: An electricity generation system that has the ability to generate clean electrical power by mechanically capturing the tremendous power of large trees as they sway in the wind. The system utilizes a modular unit that is mounted on a frame assembly covered by a housing. A plurality of spring motors are mounted in a spring motor housing that is journaled on an elongated spring-motor secondary winding axle. The inner end of each spring motor metal band is secured to the spring-motor secondary winding axle. The spring motor housing is releasably connected to a stationary retention plate to prevent rotation of the spring motor housing until the spring motors are wound a sufficient amount. A cable tether member has one end attached a tree trunk adjacent its upper area and the other end of the tether line is secured to the front end of a ratcheting arm.

  • Patent number: 6814730
Abstract: Balloon catheters according to the present invention have surface contours with protrusions and grooves to make non-continuous lesions. There is a heating element inside the balloon. The balloon will be filled with a fluid before ablation to expand the balloon for tissue contact, and to transfer heating energy from the heating element to the tissue in contact with the balloon. Since the balloon surface has contours with grooves and protrusions, the tissue contact will not be continuous along the balloon surfaces, and therefore the ablation on the tissue will not be continuous. The energy transmitter can be ultrasound transducer, electrical resistant heater, and microwave antenna.

  • Patent number: 6811283
Abstract: A decorative illuminated artificial icicle assembly having a lamp housing having an open bottom end. An upright oriented elongated icicle-shaped body member has its top end detachably secured to the open bottom end of the lamp housing. The outer diameter of the icicle-shaped body member at its top end is less than the width of the open bottom end of the lamp housing to provide a light ray passage open space therebetween. A light source is mounted in the lamp housing. The lamp housing has a reflective inner surface that directs light rays downwardly into the interior of the top end of the icicle-shaped body member and also through the light ray passage open space to illuminate the outer surface of the icicle-shaped body member. The icicle-shaped body member may be tubular and have an aperture in its bottom for draining moisture that condenses therein. A colored lens positioned between the light source and the icicle-shaped body member can be used to vary the color of the illumination.

  • Patent number: 6808350
Abstract: An anchor bolt cap for the top ends of anchor bolts that extend upwardly out of a base foundation onto which is mounted the tower base of a wind generator that produces electricity by rotation of the blades of the wind generator. The bottom end of the tower base of the wind generator has an outer annular flange and an inner annular flange each having a plurality of apertures spaced from each around the entire periphery of the respective flanges. The anchor bolts pass upwardly through these respective apertures and have a washer and nut threaded onto each of the respective anchor bolts for locking the tower base to the top of the base foundation. The anchor bolt caps are installed over the top ends of the respective anchor bolts and prevent moisture from attacking the anchor bolts and thereby prevent corrosion of the anchor bolts.

  • Patent number: 6780304
Abstract: A device as described for the generation of high purity carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen (H2) by electrochemical decomposition of aqueous solutions of liquid and solid organic acids. A d.c. power source is used to apply a pre-selected current to an electrochemical cell, consisting of an ion permeable membrane and two electrodes. The generation rate of CO2 and H2 are continuous and proportional to the applied current; it can be stopped instantaneously by interrupting the current. Small battery operated generators can produce propellant CO2 and H2 to deliver fluids from containers other uses include the creation of anaerobic environments in incubation chambers.
