Abstract: A cycling exerciser includes a base having a seat post extended upward from the middle portion of the base. A pair of cranks are rotatably secured to the base at an axle for supporting a pair of foot pedals and for allowing the user to conduct cycling exercises. A handle is rotatably secured to the base and is coupled to the axle by unidirectional bearings and by a sprocket-and-chain device for allowing the handle to unidirectionally drive the axle and to rotate the cranks when the handle is rotated by the user. A spring member may be used for recovering the handle.

Abstract: An outsole for footwear includes a base member having a first flange extending from a periphery of the base member, and a second flange extending from a top surface of the base member. A peripheral groove is defined between the first flange and the second flange. A plurality of separating posts extend from the top surface of the base member and a midsole is mounted to the base member. The midsole has a skirt extending from a periphery thereof and the skirt is engaged with the peripheral groove of the base. The midsole is supported on the second flange so that a cushion chamber is defined between the midsole, the top surface of the base and the second flange.

Abstract: A stapler includes a driving tool rotatably received in one end and a sleeve slidably engaged on the driving tool and biased outward of the stapler. A base and a barrel and a latch are secured onto the sleeve. A casing is slidably engaged onto the base. The base includes an arm having a groove for slidably receiving the ends of the fasteners that are secured in a belt. The casing includes a flange for guiding the belt. The latch includes a passage and a slot for guiding the belt and for allowing the belt to stably and smoothly supply the fasteners into the barrel.

Abstract: A treadmill includes two stands each having a transverse portion and a continuous belt is pivotally connected between the two stands. Each transverse portion has a recess defined radially therein for receiving a wheel therein. The two wheels each have a rotational axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the transverse portion corresponding thereto so that the continuous belt can be folded between the two stands and the folded treadmill can be moved laterally by the two wheels.

Abstract: A method uses waste paper materials to manufacture the pallets having a solid structure. A number of paper sheets are superposed with each other and adhered together at a number of adhering portions arranged in an alternation way, and cut to form an upper prototype having two or more legs, and expanded to a honeycomb structure. A lower prototype is also formed by the paper sheets and cut to form two or more protrusions and expanded to a honeycomb structure. The protrusions of the lower prototype are engaged into the legs of the upper prototype and engaging with the legs for allowing the honeycomb prototypes to be solidly secured together with a greatly increased adhering area. A cover sheet and a base sheet are preferably attached to the upper and the lower surfaces of the honeycomb prototypes.

Abstract: A bag includes a casing pivotally secured to one side portion for allowing the cellular phone to be engaged into and removed from the casing without opening the bag. A housing is secured in the bag, and a casing includes a bottom portion pivotally coupled to the housing at a hinge line. The upper portion of the casing is detachahly secured to the bag for opening the casing. One or more fasteners are secured to the bag, and the casing includes one or more curved slots for slidably receiving the fasteners and for pivotally coupling the casing to the bag.

Abstract: A wheel rim for a bicycle includes an annular slot formed between two peripheral sides each having a number of grooves formed in the outer surface and formed between a number of concentric ribs which are used for engaging with a brake pad. The outer surfaces of the wheel rim each includes a wavy shape. The ribs are preferably tooth-shaped. The wheel rim includes two or more concentric bulges formed between the ribs and having a height greater than that of the concentric ribs for engaging with the brake pad and for facilitating the braking operation of the bicycle.

Abstract: A cigar cutting device includes three cutting units with different sizes and the three cutting units are threadedly and telescopically connected with each other. Each cutting unit has a sharp edge defined in a distal end thereof. A push rod has the first end thereof extending through the cutting device and the second of the push rod has an end member located outside of the cutting device. A spring is mounted to the push rod and is biased between an annular flange of the central cutting unit and a flange of the push rod so that the push rod can be pushed from the end member to push the cigar form the cutting unit and returns to its original position by the spring.

Abstract: A tool includes a handle having a driving stem for driving a fastener and having a chamber for receiving one or more batteries. A light bulb is received in the handle. A cover is secured to the handle for blocking the chamber. The cover includes an orifice for allowing a light generated by the light bulb to emit outward of the handle. A cap is pivotally coupled to the cover for selectively enclosing the orifice. The cap includes a conductor selectively actuated to engage with the light bulb when the cap is opened. The conductor may be disengaged from the light bulb when the cap is closed.

Abstract: A ratchet tool includes a head, a neck extending inclinedly from the head and a handle connected the neck. The handle has a ridge extending therefrom and two longitudinal grooves are defined between the two sides of the ridge and the outside of the handle. Grip material is wrapped the handle portion with the top surface of the ridge being located slightly higher than the surface of the grip material received in the two longitudinal grooves. The top surface of the ridge portion is visible in the grip material.

Abstract: A tool holder includes a number of spaced holes. An inner periphery defining each hole includes a cutout defined therein. A periphery that defines each cutout includes a resilient retaining element projected therefrom. Each resilient retaining element has a portion projected into an associated hole.

Abstract: A drawing and dispensing device includes a container for receiving a liquid and having an opening coupled to a pipe for drawing a liquid into the container. A check valve is attached to the port. A pump device is attached to the check valve for pumping the liquid into the container. The check valve includes a plate having one or more orifices, and a resilient panel attached to the plate for blocking the-orifice and for allowing air to be drawn out of the container only and for preventing the air from flowing into the container via the check valve. A balancing valve is attached to the container for balancing the pressure in the container and for preventing the container from being deformed.

Abstract: A barbecue grill device includes two grill plates each are supported by a frame and the two grill plates are pivotally connected with each other so that the two grill plates are overlapped together. One of the grill plates has two flanges extending from two ends thereof and the other grill plate has two flanges extending from two ends thereof. When the second grill plate is overlapped on the first grill plate, the flanges on the first grill plate and the second grill plate are located side by side so as to reduce the total thickness of the overlapped grill plates.
