  • Patent number: 7273233
Abstract: The invention relates to a ski clip, which is used to fasten ski poles (6a, 6b) to skis (7). In general the simultaneous transport of a pair of skis (7)and a pair of ski poles (6a, 6b) poses problems as the use of both hands is required. It is therefore difficult to simultaneously hold the skis (7), ski poles (6a, 6b) and other objects or to hold onto retaining bars in buses and gondolas when transporting skis (7). The disadvantage of attachments for solving said problem in prior art is that the ski pole holders have to be stored separately when not in use and in addition are inconvenient to use. The invention solves said problem by the permanent attachment of a fixing device (1a, 1b) to the ski pole (6a, 6b), whereby a forked clamping piece (5a, 5b) that can be folded out is fastened to said fixing device and a pair of skis (7) can be clamped between the limbs (9) of said piece.

  • Patent number: 7270567
Abstract: In a connector including first and second contacts having first and second contact points, respectively, an actuator is provided rotatable between a closed position and an open position and includes a cam portion faced to a connection object and a cutout portion adjacent to the cam portion. The first contact further has an engaging portion and a first beam portion elastically supporting the engaging portion to a housing. The engaging portion has a recess faced to the connection object and engaged with the cam portion. The second contact further has a contacting portion disposed at the cutout portion and a second beam portion elastically supporting the contacting portion to the housing. The contacting portion has a shape such that the contacting portion surrounds the cam portion in cooperation with the recess and biases the actuator towards the open position when the actuator is located near the open position.

  • Patent number: 7270892
Abstract: The invention describes a friction bearing with a steel support shell and a lead-free bearing metal layer on the basis of copper with the main alloy elements of tin and zinc, which layer is applied to the support shell. In order to combine advantageous sliding properties with favorable mechanical resilience it is proposed that the bearing metal layer has a share of tin of 2.5 to 11% by weight and a share of zinc of 0.5 to 5% by weight, with the sum total of the shares of tin and zinc being between 3 and 13% by weight.

  • Patent number: 7269913
Abstract: The present invention is a universal tape measure jacket with dual retractable marking means capabilities. The universal tape jacket with dual marking means when retrofit over conventional tape measures creates an affordable measure and marking system. The tape locking means on most conventional tape measures could also be modified to be able to link with either/or of the retractable marking means on the universal tape jacket; thus, the user has the option to lock the tape coil into a fixed position and then manually engage one or both of the dual markers independent of the tapes locking means or when linked with one or more of the retractable markers, make them work in conjunction with the tape measures locking means.

  • Patent number: 7267541
Abstract: An extruder head for extrusion blow-molding plastic containers includes a ring gap nozzle with a mandrel and a ring-shaped nozzle body. An elastically deformable sleeve is arranged on an end of the nozzle outlet side and defines a gap width which can be varied by axial setting movements of the mandrel and/or the nozzle body. The geometry of the nozzle gap can be influenced by radially deforming the sleeve with setting devices during the extrusion of a hose-shaped preformed blank. The sleeve may be moved in a radial direction and is guided on sliding surfaces which support it in upward and downward directions. The sleeve may be in the form of a cylinder or tube. A lower edge of the sleeve shapes a cross-section of a melt stream exiting from the ring gap nozzle.

  • Patent number: 7267573
Abstract: Having conductive contacts (4), a first insulator (1) retaining the contacts, and a cable-side insulator, attachable/detachable relative to the first insulator, for retaining a flat cable (6). The cable-side insulator includes a second insulator (2) for receiving the flat cable, a third insulator (3) disposed so as to confront the second insulator via the flat cable, and a clamp (7) interposed between the flat cable and the third insulator. When the cable-side insulator is mounted to the first insulator, the second and third insulators are engaged with the first insulator to approach each other so that the flat cable is sandwiched between the clamp and the second insulator. In this state, the flat cable is connected to the contacts.

  • Patent number: 7268340
Abstract: A wide angle reflector which can work in conjunction with a wide-angle sensor system for testing the wide angle reflector. In this case, reflex sensors transmit light onto a cube corner part surface, and measure the retro-reflected light. If the direction of irradiation of the light deviates too strongly from the normal to the cube corner part surface, the retro-reflective light, which serves as signal, is retro-reflected too weakly, or is not retro-reflected at all to the transmitter. This wide-angle sensor system with a cube corner part surface permits the observation of a large surface with an aperture angle of 80° and more. In addition, the wide-angle sensor system with cube corner part surface comprises a gauge for selecting the observation angle and the cube corner part surface which comprises a multiplicity of cube corners.

  • Patent number: 7268666
Abstract: The invention relates to an article delivery receptacle (10) comprising an electronic code lock (11). When delivering articles (8), the delivery person opens the receptacle (10) by entering a delivery code (6) into the electronic code lock (11). During the ordering process, the addressee (1) conveys the required delivery code (6) to the delivery person (9) via the supplier (9) of the ordered articles (8). After the articles (8) are deposited in the receptacle, the receptacle (10) is locked once again so that the articles (8) placed therein are protected from theft. After a successful delivery, the code lock (11) is blocked so that it is no longer possible to open the delivery receptacle (10) using the delivery code (6). The addressee can remove the delivered articles (8) from the receptacle (10) by using an addressee key (12) which only the addressee possesses. After removing the articles (8), the delivery receptacle is enabled once again for receiving subsequent deliveries of articles.
