Abstract: Use and selection of, e.g., a wireless video transmission apparatus cumbersome for a user are eliminated. When a new application is activated, a wireless video transmission apparatus 2 is selected as the transmission destination of image data. Image data rasterized on a VM1 is transferred to a temporary memory. Image data rasterized on a VM2 is transferred to the VM1. Image data of the new application is transferred to the VM2. The image data rasterized on the VM1 and VM2 are transmitted to the wireless video transmission apparatuses 1 and 2, respectively.
Abstract: This invention can provide an information processing apparatus and control method thereof, and a program, which can efficiently execute processing associated with font settings. To accomplish this, font information of a first character and font information of a second character, which are located before and after the position of an input character are acquired. When the acquired font information of the first character and the acquired font information of the second character include the same font type, the font type is set as font type information used for the input character. When the acquired font information of the first character and the acquired font information of the second character include different font types, parsing is executed for the character string including the input character, and font type information used for the input character is set based on the parsing result.

Abstract: An information processing apparatus executes a first module, a second module, and a third module for mediating a call from the first module to a function in the second module and obtaining the log of processing in the second module in response to the call. The apparatus obtains the log from the third module, extracts, from the obtained log, attribute information of functions and identifiers assigned to the functions, and determines, on the basis of attribute information of a first function and a second function among the extracted functions, identifiers assigned to the first function and the second function, whether processing in the second module has normally ended.
Abstract: In an image sensing apparatus and exposure control method, detecting an object that satisfies a certain preset condition from image data obtained by image sensing with an image sensing element, and carrying out photometry on the image data as a whole to acquire an overall photometric value while carrying out photometry on an area of a detected object within the image data to acquire an object photometric value. An exposure value is then determined based on the overall photometric value and the object photometric value, with exposure controlled during image sensing based on the determined exposure value.
Abstract: An image-pickup apparatus is disclosed onto which an accessory device is detachably attached and which is capable of recognizing that an output from a light-receiving sensor is influenced by an attachment of the accessory device. The image-pickup apparatus includes a first detector which is capable of outputting a signal corresponding to an object distance. The apparatus further includes a determining device which determines an attachment of the accessory device onto the image-pickup apparatus on the basis of a predetermined signal output from the first detector.
Abstract: The light-amount adjusting system includes a light-amount adjusting unit that changes a size of an aperture through which light passes, an actuator that drives the light-amount adjusting unit, and a detector that detects an aperture state of the light-amount adjusting unit. The system further includes a deviation signal generator that generates a signal corresponding to a deviation between a target aperture state of the light-amount adjusting unit and an aperture state thereof detected by the detector, a driving signal generator that provides an offset to the signal corresponding to the deviation to generate a driving signal for driving the actuator, and a filter which perform a low-pass-filter processing on the driving signal. An output from the filter is used as the offset. The system can control the light-amount adjusting unit with high stability and accuracy at any position and in any driving direction thereof.
Abstract: It is determined whether or not there is inconsistency between image sensing mode data, which is set by an operator with respect to a scene including an object of shooting, and attribute data, e.g., focal length data or the like, that accompanies an obtained image. When it is determined that there is inconsistency between the image sensing mode data and attribute data, a caution is given to the operator that it is necessary to maintain consistency.
Abstract: An image pickup apparatus in which color signals are generated and extracted from a picked-up image signal for a plurality of regions in a screen, a wavelength component ratio is detected and calculated based on the extracted color signals for each of the plurality of regions, one or more regions in which the visible light component ratio calculated is large are selected, and the visible light component ratio of the photographing screen is determined based on the visible light component ratios of the selected regions.
Abstract: A reproducing apparatus includes: a reproducing unit for reproducing, from a recording medium on which main image for normal reproduction data and specific reproduction image data made up of a plurality of blocks each including first data and second data are recorded, the main image data and the specific reproduction image data; a detecting unit for detecting an error in the first data and an error in the second data in the respective blocks of the specific reproduction image data that is reproduced by the reproducing unit, independently; and an interpolation processing unit for interpolating independently the first data and the second data in which the error is detected by the detecting unit, by selectively using a plurality of interpolating methods.
Abstract: An oxidizer assembly provided with a housing having a plurality of inlets each for receiving a different gas and a plurality of outlets each corresponding to a different one of the inlets and outputting gas resulting from the gas received from its corresponding inlet. A catalyst assembly able to support gas flow therethrough is disposed within the housing and includes a catalyst able to oxidize carbon monoxide gas and to be regenerated. The catalyst assembly is further adapted to be movable such that successive parts of the assembly are able to be brought repeatedly in communication with a first inlet and its corresponding first outlet and then a second inlet and its corresponding second outlet of the housing.
Abstract: An image capture apparatus includes a high frequency signal extraction unit, a first filter unit, a second filter unit and a level setting unit. The high frequency signal extraction unit extracts a high frequency signal from an input signal. The first filter unit applies a horizontal band-pass filter to the input signal. The second filter unit applies a vertical band-pass filter to the input signal. The level setting unit sets a level, which is used to remove a noise component from the high frequency signal, to one of a first level and a second level lower than the first level. The level is set to the first level, if the input signal is obtained from a first area including low contrast. The level is set to the second level, if the input signal is obtained from a second area including small pattern.
Abstract: Printed material is electronically read, and electronic data of that printed material is input as a comparison source image. From the comparison source image, a plurality of partial regions are extracted. Layout comparison between partial regions of the comparison source image and a comparison destination image stored in a storage unit is executed under a condition in which the positional deviation amount in the center of gravity direction of an image is looser than those in other directions.
