Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide a powder core and method for making the same that is equipped with insulative coating having superior heat resistance, with the coating making it possible to adequately restrict the flow of eddy currents between particles. The powder core is equipped with a plurality of compound magnetic particles bonded to each other. Each of said plurality of composite magnetic particles includes: a metal magnetic particle 10; an insulative lower layer coating 20 surrounding a surface 10a of said metal magnetic particle 10; an upper layer coating 30 surrounding said lower layer coating 20 and containing silicon; and dispersed particles 50 containing a metal oxide compound and disposed in said lower layer coating 20 and/or said upper layer coating 30. Abstract: A method for galvanically isolated transmission of a signal, especially a switching signal for controlling at least one switching means includes using a transformer. The primary side of a transformer is fed with a pulse-width modulated voltage in which different duty factors are indicative of different signal states. The voltage obtained on the secondary side is converted by an electronic circuit into at least one signal voltage which is dependent on the duty factor and whose magnitude represents a signal state.

Abstract: A system and method are directed towards mapping a first user ID, such as an alias game ID, which may be used by multiple users, to a second user ID, such as a portal messenger ID. A user registers with an intermediary service, such as a game data aggregation service, and provides both the first user ID and the second user ID. The aggregation service detects when the first user ID is being used by one or more users in a first service, such as an online game service. The aggregation service also detects when a client probe reports to a second service, such as a portal messenger service, that the second user ID is participating in the same service. The aggregation service determines whether one instance of the first user ID from the first service corresponds to the second user ID from the second service.

Abstract: A cell binder includes a frame body and a frame body. A storage portion of a electric storage cell are pressed/clamped by the bottom of an accommodating portion of the frame body and the bottom of an accommodating portion of the frame body. Also, a sealing portion of the electric storage cell is accommodated in a gap between the bottom of a fitting concave portion of the frame body 16 and the front end of a projecting portion of the other frame body, in a state of being deflected by bending, and the sealing portion is clamped between an inner wall of the fitting concave portion and an outer wall of the projecting portion, thereby fitting the frame bodies to each other. This makes it possible to reduce the size for clamping the sealing portion and to achieve the downsizing of the entire package. In addition, providing the sealing portion with deflections allows movements of the electric storage cell to be accommodated when vibrations are applied.

Abstract: A measurement range is extended while maintaining the spatial resolution high by completely separating the increment of a probe light from noises. Modulations are performed on both probe light and pump light to differentiate both lights. Using the modulations, only the change in the probe light necessary for measuring the characteristic of a measurement-target optical fiber FUT can be separated. Accordingly, unlike the conventional technology, an optical wavelength filter becomes unnecessary. Further, in a case where an amplitude ?f of the frequency modulation of a light source 1 is made wide to some extent to make the measurement range wide while maintaining a spatial resolution ?z high, the amplitude ?f does not affect to detection of the change in the probe light. Therefore, the increment of the probe light can be completely separated from noises, thereby extending the measurement range while maintaining the spatial resolution ?z high.

Abstract: An interpolation filter for interpolating a digital signal includes a cascade of template filters, each having an identical template transfer function A(z), which is arranged to receive and filter an input sequence representing the digital signal sampled at an input sampling rate. Ancillary circuitry is coupled to the cascade so as to produce first and second phase outputs. A multiplexer is arranged to multiplex the phase outputs in order to generate an output sequence having an output sampling rate equal to twice the input sampling rate.
Abstract: A system (706, 714) is provided for a network signaling protocol bypass around a cryptographic device (1006, 1106). The system is comprised of a bypass means for receiving a packet (900) having a transport layer protocol header (908), for parsing a GIST signaling transport protocol identifier (950) from the transport layer protocol header, and for determining whether the GIST signaling transport protocol identifier is a NTLP or a NSIS signaling transport protocol identifier. If the GIST signaling transport protocol identifier is a NTLP or a NSIS signaling transport protocol identifier, the packet is bypassed around the cryptographic device. However, if the GIST signaling transport protocol identifier is not a NTLP or NSIS signaling transport protocol identifier, the packet is forwarded to the cryptographic device. A method is also provided for a network signaling protocol bypass around the cryptographic device.

The housing is configured by integrally forming a plug insertion recessed part and a socket insertion recessed part in an L shape. Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method of treating bone length discrepancies and angular deformities in a patient in need thereof, where the method involves radiofrequency ablation epiphysiodesis of a physeal plate. Specifically, the method treats long bone discrepancies with a minimally invasive procedure. The present invention is also directed to a method of inhibiting bone growth, where the method involves exposing a physeal growth plate to radiofrequency ablation epiphysiodesis.

Abstract: The invention describes compounds, compositions, and methods of using the same comprising a chemical moiety covalently attached to amphetamine. These compounds and compositions are useful for reducing or preventing abuse and overdose of amphetamine. These compounds and compositions find particular use in providing an abuse-resistant alternative treatment for certain disorders, such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), ADD, narcolepsy, and obesity. Oral bioavailability of amphetamine is maintained at therapeutically useful doses. At higher doses bioavailability is substantially reduced, thereby providing a method of reducing oral abuse liability. Further, compounds and compositions of the invention decrease the bioavailability of amphetamine by parenteral routes, such as intravenous or intranasal administration, further limiting their abuse liability.

Abstract: A method for interworking between a first signaling network and a second signaling network is provided. The first signaling network includes a first signaling point and a signaling transfer point, and the second signaling network includes a second signaling point, the first signaling network is connected with the second signaling network via an interworking point. Abstract: To maintain operating safety by driving force distribution control system when an abnormal state arises and to smoothly transition from a normal state to an abnormal state without sudden changes in vehicle behavior. The driving force distribution control part calculates the transfer torque for the transfer clutch for the center differential device and the torque movement for the hydraulic motor for the rear wheel final reduction gear. When the control state detection part detects an abnormal state, there is control of the hydraulic motor in the direction that torque movement is lost on the one hand, and the transfer torque for the transfer clutch is controlled in the direction of front and rear distribution; after a preset time and after this control is carried out, the transfer torque drops.
