  • Patent number: 7680960
Abstract: A method for interworking between a first signaling network and a second signaling network is provided. The first signaling network includes a first signaling point and a signaling transfer point, and the second signaling network includes a second signaling point, the first signaling network is connected with the second signaling network via an interworking point. The method includes: receiving by the interworking point a first signaling point TransFer Prohibited message from the first signaling network; detecting all the links between the interworking point and the first signaling network, if there is any interworking link, dropping the TransFer Prohibited message; otherwise, transmitting a Signaling Unavailable message to the second signaling point. This invention also provides an interworking point of signaling networks and a communication system. In this invention, TFP message in narrowband MTP3 protocol and DUNA message the broadband M3UA protocol are combined for informing the route state.

  • Patent number: 7678771
Abstract: The invention describes compounds, compositions, and methods of using the same comprising a chemical moiety covalently attached to amphetamine. These compounds and compositions are useful for reducing or preventing abuse and overdose of amphetamine. These compounds and compositions find particular use in providing an abuse-resistant alternative treatment for certain disorders, such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), ADD, narcolepsy, and obesity. Oral bioavailability of amphetamine is maintained at therapeutically useful doses. At higher doses bioavailability is substantially reduced, thereby providing a method of reducing oral abuse liability. Further, compounds and compositions of the invention decrease the bioavailability of amphetamine by parenteral routes, such as intravenous or intranasal administration, further limiting their abuse liability.

  • Patent number: 7680115
Abstract: A system (706, 714) is provided for a network signaling protocol bypass around a cryptographic device (1006, 1106). The system is comprised of a bypass means for receiving a packet (900) having a transport layer protocol header (908), for parsing a GIST signaling transport protocol identifier (950) from the transport layer protocol header, and for determining whether the GIST signaling transport protocol identifier is a NTLP or a NSIS signaling transport protocol identifier. If the GIST signaling transport protocol identifier is a NTLP or a NSIS signaling transport protocol identifier, the packet is bypassed around the cryptographic device. However, if the GIST signaling transport protocol identifier is not a NTLP or NSIS signaling transport protocol identifier, the packet is forwarded to the cryptographic device. A method is also provided for a network signaling protocol bypass around the cryptographic device.

  • Patent number: 7676828
Abstract: A method and system for authenticating and authorizing requesters interacting with content servers. A message including a request is forwarded from an upstream device and received by an intermediate device. The intermediate device authenticates the upstream device. Then, if the intermediate device is authorized to make decisions as to which sender may access the content server, the intermediate device determines whether the sender of the message has authority to access the content server as requested in the request. Otherwise, the message is forwarded towards the content server with an indication that the intermediate device authenticated the upstream device.

  • Patent number: 7676003
Abstract: A method for processing a signal envelope generated by demodulating a received signal that includes a train of pulses that is transmitted at a carrier frequency and is modulated at a given baud rate with data symbols in accordance with a predetermined communication protocol, which defines features of the modulated signal. The method includes measuring a duration of a selected feature in the signal envelope as defined by the communication protocol. The baud rate of the signal is estimated based on the measured duration without counting the pulses in the received signal. The data symbols are decoded by processing the signal envelope responsively to the estimated baud rate.
