Abstract: A loading dock shelter with hinge gap closure wherein reinforced side curtains seal corner/hinge areas, as a truck/trailer is backed into a loading dock, to thereby form a protective weather seal. Hinge gap closures having side curtains for right and left portions of the shelter are each adapted to set the curtains parallel to the door of the dock in the normal position, when the dock is not in use, thereby protecting the door from inclement weather, etc. When a trailer is moved into the dock, reverse mobility of the vehicle is such as to cause the side curtains to be deflected from normal inoperative position, to extend them along the side of the respective trailer swing doors, whereby a collapsible wedge on the extreme extension of each curtain encompasses the gas created by the truck and its swing door, in sealing contact, preparatory to and during loading and off-loading.
Abstract: A flux composition for cement comprises mainly wollastonite. One of the compositions of the flux is wollastonite 99%, fluorite 5-15% and gypsum 30-35%. The flux is added during the preparation of the cement raw materials and comprises 1-10% of the admixture. Thus, the firing temperature firing time may be shortened, the consumption of coal may be decreased and manufacturing productivity of the cement may be improved. In addition, the compression strength and the binding strength of the cement are also improved.
Abstract: Outrigger release for trolling lines used in fishing for bill fish which stun their prey. The adjustable release is characterized by a pivoted arm which has a tip end releasably engaging a fishing line ring and an elongated shank engaging a magnet supported within the housing. Modification in position or size of the magnet thus adjusts the amount of tension required to pivot the arm and release the fishing line ring.
Abstract: Barbecue grills, particularly a portable barbecue grill with a snap-in cooking grill and pairs of intersecting and foldable supporting legs. The barbecue grill may be disassembled by folding the legs against the cooking bowl and without the cooking grill falling out of the cooking bowl.
Abstract: Barbecue grills, particularly small-size portable grills adapted for picnics, stadium parking lot cooking and the like. The portable grill comprises a hemispherical cooking bowl and a hemispherical hood removably supported upon the top rim of the cooking bowl. A pair of locking brackets is inserted within the cooking bowl rim, so as to engage the hood such, that the hood and cooking bowl are locked together during carrying.
Abstract: Measuring of soil gas flux. Particularly a method of measuring soil gas concentration and emission flux during a period of post-compression of the earth's crust. The method includes observing gravitational acceleration on the surface of the earth, as defined by crustal tension and compression and as induced by the Sun and Moon, compensating for variation in acceleration due to geographic location of said observing, locating said crustal tension in the form of a bulge on the surface of the earth, then post-compression measuring of soil gas concentration and emission flux rate during both the long term (approximately 1 to 10 days) and short term (approximately 1 to 8 hours) of maximum soil gas emission.
Abstract: Fish stringers, particularly a resilient longitudinally extending stringer arm. An upper hand-gripping end of the stringer arm may be adjustably secured to the fisherman's belt or waders. The lower, free end of the stringer arm spears hooked fish. A pivoted carrying arm is secured to the upper end of the stringer arm and extends outwardly so as to define an alternate hand-gripping portion and inwardly to encircle and releasably engage the free end of the stringer arm. The stringer arm is characterized by its ability to adjustably support a load of fish in the desired juxtaposition with the fisherman's thigh and upon release may be carried in a horizontal mode by a hand-gripping portion defined in the pivoted carrying arm.
Abstract: An irrigation device, particularly a tree-supporting enclosure and adjacent float reservoir which automatically feeds liquid to the tree-supporting enclosure, as liquid level is depleted. The device is characterized by a pivoted valve housing which is supported in the wall of the float reservoir. A float extends inwardly from the valve housing to engage liquid in the float reservoir. As the liquid is depleted, the float and valve housing are pivoted to open an inlet conduit, thereby feeding additional liquid to the float reservoir.
Abstract: Hearing aids, particularly hearing aids of the type embodying an ear-fitted housing having an interior receiver at the receiver tube leading from the interior receiver to the exterior of the housing. Particularly, a wax guard in the form of a coil of wire which is interference-fitted within the receiver to provide a restrictive path for ear wax and, thus protect the receiver.

Abstract: School bus warning light systems. Particularly an improved one-piece plastic fitting for supporting the sealed beam bulb in accordance with SAE photometric and durability standards. The fitting is characterized by its simplicity and ruggedness for securing and positioning the sealed beam bulb.
Abstract: Suspension or hanger bars, particularly a weight-responsive hanger bar which is pivotable to indicate changes in weight of the suspended object. The device is particularly adaptable to suspension of moisturized planters, such that the hanger bar is pivoted, as the moisture content of the planter is depleted.
Abstract: Audible tone generators, particularly a hand-held tone generator for generating an audible tone as a test for equalizing binaural hearing aids. The circuit is characterized by its "fountain pen" size, as well as its extreme simplicity and reliability.
Abstract: Recreational devices, particularly a deformable ball or sphere having an interior filled with particulate aggregate and an exterior supporting a plurality of radially extending suction cups, such that the suction cups engage a supporting surface upon which the ball may be thrown. The deformable character of the ball enables the sphere exterior to assume a planar surface as the suction cups engage the supporting surface.
Abstract: A supporting assembly for abutting insulating ceiling or wall panels which are camlocked together, comprising a structural support, a flanged spacer member secured between the structural support and the panels, and a thread rod extending longitudinally through the structural support, spacer member and panels, in threaded engagement with a tapped opening in the camlock. The disclosed assembly eliminates complete penetration or through bolting of the panels, preserves the integrity of the basketed panel joints, and allows simple access to the camlocks during panel erection.
Abstract: Dynamoelectric motors, particularly, a brush and brush holder assembly which comprises three semi-circular motor casing sides manufactured of non-insulating material. The semi-circular casing elements are snap-fitted together so as to support three individual brushes in contact with a commutator. The snap-fitted assembly is characterized by its structural simplicity, as well as ease of manufacture and assembly.
