Abstract: A spring is disposed longitudinally within a tubular body. Two t-shaped handles each comprise a central leg and two opposed arms extending outwardly from the central leg. The central legs of the handles are rotatably connected to opposing ends of the body such that the opposed arms are perpendicular to the body. A retaining pin is connected to each end of the spring. Each retaining pin is disposed within one of the handles and extends between and within the two opposed arms. The handles urge against the retaining pin within the handle to twist the spring about a longitudinal axis of the spring when the handles are manually rotated.

Abstract: A tube is adapted to fit conformingly within a pintle ring of a tongue of a dolly. The tube extends outwardly from an upper surface of a base plate. A pin is positioned within the tube and extends outwardly from the upper surface of the base plate. A holding plate is adapted to fasten to the pin, capturing the pintle ring between the holding plate and the base plate. A handle is connected to a bottom surface of the base plate for lifting the base plate when the pintel ring is captured between the holding plate and the base plate. The configuration of the base plate is such that the base plate is held to the pintle ring in a non-rotatable manner.

Abstract: A series of hingedly connected spanning panels is provided. Each spanning panel includes two opposing outer edges. Alternating ones of the spanning panels include a raised ridge disposed along each of the outer edges of the spanning panel. At least one sleeve is disposed along each of the outer edges of a plurality of the spanning panels. A plurality of elongated rods are provided. Each of the rods is configured to pass through a plurality of the sleeves, the rods thereby maintaining the spanning panels in a substantially fixed linear relationship to one another. An end panel is hingedly connected to each end of the series of hingedly connected spanning panels. Each of the end panels is substantially wedge shaped and includes a gripping surface.

Abstract: A substantially disk shaped body includes a downwardly curved perimeter and a circular, raised central portion. A plurality of substantially evenly spaced apertures are distributed annularly about the central portion. A switch is positioned substantially at a top of the central portion, the switch including a hole there-through for connecting to a cord for hanging the body. A circuit includes the switch, a battery receptacle, a sound generating device, and at least one light source. The circuit is configured to activate the light source when the switch is moved to one side, and to activate the light source and the sound generating device when the switch is moved to an opposite side. The battery receptacle, the sound generating device, and the light source are positioned beneath the central portion.

Abstract: A track comprises a base and two sidewalls. At least one toy vehicle comprises an underside and two sides. Magnets attached to the track and to the vehicle repel the underside of the vehicle from the base of the track, and repel the sides of the vehicle from the sidewalls of the track; thus, the vehicle floats above the base and between the sidewalls of the track. The vehicle moves along the track due to gravitational force applied to the vehicle, and alternatively due to motive force applied to the vehicle by a pair of rotating drums.

Abstract: A container includes a hinged door. The door comprises a frame holding a screen therein. The screen is adapted for placement of at least one earring having a post thereon, by inserting the post through the screen from a first side of the screen, then placing a post cap over the post on a second side of the screen. The container includes a wall having pegs protruding therefrom. The wall is positioned opposite the door and the pegs extend toward the door when the door is closed.

Abstract: A fluid conduit has a first end and a second end. An insulating cover surrounds the fluid conduit. An elongated heat trace tape is captured between the insulating cover and the fluid conduit. A source conductor extends outwardly from the insulating cover near the second end of the fluid conduit and is electrically connected to the heat trace tape. The source conductor is terminated by a fuse configured to prevent current through the heat trace tape from exceeding a pre-determined amount. A plug and power cord conveys power from a power source through the source conductor to the heat trace tape. An alarm is electrically connected to the heat trace tape and configured to energize when current through the heat trace tape is halted. A light emitting diode is electrically connected to the heat trace tape and adapted to energize when the plug is connected to the power source. A tail end of the heat trace tape extends outwardly from the insulating cover near the first end of the fluid conduit.

Abstract: A first track assembly is adapted to be mounted to a top of a window opening. A plurality of first cord support assemblies are slidably mounted within the first track assembly. A plurality of second cord support assemblies are slidably mounted within a second track assembly. A plurality of columns of panels is provided, each column being strung between a pair of the first and the second cord support assemblies. A vertical opening and closing mechanism is provided for pulling the second track assembly toward the first track assembly and for lowering the second track assembly away from the first track assembly, thus collapsing and extending each column of panels.

Abstract: An elongated first arm includes a first arm free end and a first arm pivot end. A generally bowl shaped crushing member is disposed near the first arm pivot end. An elongated second arm has a second arm free end and a second arm pivot end. A generally bowl shaped receiving member is positioned near the second arm pivot end and is configured to receive the crushing member therein. A generally ball shaped member is positioned at the first arm pivot end. A socket is positioned at the second arm pivot end and is configured to receive the generally ball shaped member. The first arm is pivotable from a first position wherein the crushing member is out of the receiving member to a second position wherein the crushing member is within the receiving member. The first arm is slidable transversely with respect to the second arm when the crushing member is within the receiving member for crushing of items positioned between the crushing member and the receiving member.

Abstract: A substantially cone shaped body comprises a top body opening and a bottom body opening. The top body opening is larger than the bottom body opening. A generally tubular threaded neck extends outwardly from the bottom body opening. At least one adapter has a threaded first end configured to removably mate with the neck. The adapter has a threaded second end adapted to removably mate with a receiving container opening. When the adapter is mated with the neck and with the receiving container opening, the bottom body opening is in fluid communication with the receiving container opening. A lid is provided for removably covering the top body opening.

Abstract: A body suit liner is removably attachable to an outer body suit. Glove liners are removably attachable to outer gloves. Foot cover liners are removably attachable to outer foot covers. A hood liner is removably attachable to an outer hood. The outer gloves are removably attachable to distal ends of outer body suit sleeves. The outer glove can be attached to the outer body suit sleeve whether or not the glove liner has been attached to the outer glove. The outer foot covers are removably attachable to distal ends of outer body suit legs. The outer foot cover can be attached to the outer body suit leg whether or not the foot cover liner has been attached to the outer foot cover. The outer hood is removably attachable to the outer body suit. The outer hood can be attached to the outer body suit whether or not the hood liner has been attached to the outer hood. The body suit liner, glove liner, foot cover liner and hood liner are constructed of material which is insulative and absorbent.

Abstract: A base forms a receptacle for insertion of a tree trunk therein. A ring assembly is connected to a mouth of the base. A plurality of grabbing arms each have a pivoting end connected to the ring assembly and a free end. The grabbing arms are configured to pivot in such a manner as to move the free ends inward and outward. An elongated gripping member is connected to each of the grabbing arms at the free end. The gripping member is oriented substantially perpendicular to a plane of the grabbing arm. A lever arm includes a pivotal connection to the ring assembly. A locking arm is rotatably connected to the pivotal connection. The lever arm is configured to cause the grabbing arms to pivot when the lever arm is pivoted.

Abstract: A framework is adapted to connect to a top of an infant's crib. A plurality of carbon dioxide detectors are attached to the framework. The carbon dioxide detectors are decorated for viewing pleasure of the infant. An alarm and a processor are provided. The processor is configured to energize the alarm upon decreased fluctuation of carbon dioxide levels. A smoke detector, a carbon monoxide detector and a temperature sensor are also provided. At least one microphone and a transmitter are provided to transmit an infant's sounds to a remote receiver. A control panel is provided for inputting information and status indication.

Abstract: A telescoping arm comprises a distal end and a proximal end. A head portion is adapted to contact a human back, and is configured to connect to the distal end of the arm. A base is configured to connect to the proximal end of the arm. The base comprises a first drive and a second drive. In one embodiment, the first drive is configured to move the arm in an alternating lateral motion. In another embodiment, the first drive is configured to move the arm in an alternating pivoting motion. The second drive is configured to alternately extend and retract the arm. A single motor may be coupled to both of the first and second drives, or each drive may include a separate motor. The first and second drives are configured to operate simultaneously. A clip is attachable to the base, for removably attaching the base to a stable object. An inverted cradle shaped base extension is also attachable to the base, for resting the back scratcher on a sofa arm.

Abstract: A rectangular container has a back surface which has an upper edge and a lower edge. The container also has a lid which is hingably connected to the upper edge of the back surface in order to allow access to the container via rotation of the lid about the upper edge. There is also a plurality of inverted, substantially U-shaped members located on the back surface of the container. These members each have a first prong and a second prong. The first prong of each member is fixably attached to the back surface of the container, and the second prong is adapted to slidably engage a fence. There is also a mounting device located on the bottom of the container. This device can be adapted to receive a cylindrical pole, a square post, or a T-shaped fence post, among other shapes. Any of these support members can support the container.

Abstract: The hair extension of the present invention includes hair strands affixed to a ring assembly. The ring assembly comprises an inner ring and an outer ring. The inner ring is configured to nest within the outer ring, with distal ends of the hair strands impinged between the inner and outer rings. A plait of a user's hair is inserted through the ring assembly of the hair extension. In one embodiment, the hair extension is attached to the plait with a band, or by sewing the hair extension to the plait. In another embodiment, the ring assembly is modified with a fastening assembly for fastening the hair extension to the plait.

Abstract: A hollow, substantially conical container has an open end and a closed end. This container is perforated in order to allow liquid to freely pass through it. Attached to the closed end of the container, and coaxial with the container itself, is an inflexible, elongated portion. This portion forms a point at the distal end in order to facilitate ground penetration. A substantially flexible, planar, elongated element has a first end and a second end, and includes an attachment device for firmly connecting the ends, thereby forming a cincture. At least one conical container is connected to the elongated element.
