Abstract: A pipe vice transportation dolly having a one-piece faceplate which is rigid and stable, and primary and secondary support arms to sustain the pipe vice while providing stability and balance as well. Two wheels protrude from either side and enable it to move the pipe vice about. A face plate is generally triangular and is situated between the wheels with the main support arm centered in the peak of the triangle, and two protruding pipes, secondary support arms, on each end of the plate which attach to the pipe vice. A rectangular handle is situated on top and center of the faceplate.
Abstract: A first panel is adapted to cover a bottom of a horse's hoof. A second panel extends upwardly from the perimeter of the first panel and includes a front portion, two opposing side portions and a back portion. The front portion is adapted to cover a front of a horse's hoof; the side portions are each adapted to cover a side of a horse's hoof; and the back portion is adapted to cover a back of a horse's hoof. The second panel forms an opening positioned opposite the first panel for insertion of a horse's hoof there-through. The back portion includes two sides and a triangular foldable portion at each of the sides, the foldable portions each connected to one of the side portions. A plurality of strap loops are distributed circumferentially about the second panel near the opening. A strap is configured to be inserted through the loops, and includes a buckle for securing the strap about the second portion.
Abstract: A motor vehicle operator alerting apparatus is disclosed having a portable housing having a front face and a plurality of fastening clips to attach the apparatus to a support structure within a vehicle. An alert indicator and an alarm indicator are mounted visibly to the front face of the housing, and are used to select an alert time duration and an alarm time duration, respectively. An alert time comparison timer and an alarm time counter compare selected time durations, and energize the alert and alarm indicators, respectively, based upon such comparison. A reset button in communication with both the alarm time counter and the alert time comparison timer is used for de-energizing either the alert indicator or the alarm indicator. An LCD or LED display in communication with the alert time comparison timer displays the time remaining on the alert time comparison timer.
Abstract: A system is provided for automatically dialing and sending out a pre-recorded message in emergency situations to Police, Fire, or Ambulance departments at the push of a single button. The system has separated lighted buttons each for Police, Fire, or Ambulance, with an individual message for each emergency situation. The buttons are color coded and the international symbols for Fire, Police, and Ambulance are embossed on them respectively. The system is capable of storing phone numbers for each emergency service, and has the ability to record and play back a personalized message designed to describe the services needed and the location at which the service is need.
Abstract: An insulating outer shell includes structure forming a first opening in a first end of the outer shell, and structure forming a second opening in a second end of the outer shell. A conductive inner shell having a closed end and an open end is fitted inside the outer shell such that the closed end is oriented toward the first end of the outer shell and the open end is oriented toward the second end of the outer shell. A first conductor extends through the first opening of the outer shell. One end of the first conductor is welded to the closed end of the inner shell. The first conductor has a free end. A spring for engaging at least one second conductor within the inner shell is welded to the inside of the inner shell.
Abstract: A cradle is supported by a frame. Two rear supports and two from supports are each rotationally affixed to the frame by a rotational shoulder connection. Each rear support has a telescoping adjustable leg, a spring shock absorber, an adjustable clamp joint, and a vice clamp. Each front support has a vice clamp attached to the rotational shoulder connection. To mount the cradle to the front of a conventional wheelchair, the vice clamps of the rear supports are atttached to a tubular frame of a leg rest normally provided with the wheelchair. The vice clamps of the front supports are then attached to tubular frames of arm rests normally provided with the wheelchair. The cradle may also be attached to the rear of the wheelchair.
Abstract: An infant bottle feeding system is provided having a supported bottle holder for holding a feeding bottle. The bottle holder has a flat, elongated supporting base which can be placed underneath a supine infant for additional support. A flexible arm is retained by the supported base in an offset manner, thus allowing an infant roll to one side free of the base such that the infant is not trapped beneath the system. The flexible arm supports a bottle retaining clamp which holds a fluid storage vessel of the type conventionally used as infant feeding bottles. A flow restriction means is retained within a cap and away from the nipple, and both are then sealed to the opening of the storage vessel by the cap.
Abstract: An apparatus and method is provided for glueing, assembly and clamping of large wood panels. Comprised of an open rack frame containing a quantity of clamping and assembly jigs, such that two separate and independent wood panels can be at various stages of completion. Each clamping and assembly jig consists of a spacer bar upon which the raw wood stock is placed and a clamping bar which provides pressure perpendicular to the surface of the panel. To use the present invention, wood stock of appropriate dimensions is coated with glue and placed within one or more of the clamping and assembly jigs. Conventional bar clamps are then used to provide pressure on a horizontal axis through the wood panel. Finally, the clamping bar is tightened to aid in alignment of the wood stock and eliminate bowing of the stock.
Abstract: A plurality of support members are connected to a ring member, forming a substantially flat, rigid bottom with side, front and rear portions forming obtuse angles with the bottom. A substantially planar base member is connected to the bottom of the seating apparatus, and a seat base is connected to the underside of the seating apparatus.
