Abstract: An analog/digital telephone test set for telephone lines using dial pulse, DTMF, and digital signalling having a DTMF decoder for converting DTMF tones for application to a microprocessor which converts them, for example, to 16 bit digital commands transmitted as 8 kHz bursts.

Abstract: A spread spectrum CDMA communications system for communicating data and/or digitized voice between a plurality of users to a plurality of PCN units. The spread spectrum communications system is located within a same geographical region as occupied by a plurality of microwave users. The spread spectrum system can operate without causing undue interference to the microwave system and the microwave system can operate without causing significant interference (less than 1% total users affected) to PCN system. The spread spectrum CDMA communications system includes a plurality of PCN-base stations and a plurality of PCN units. A PCN-base station has a device for converting the format of the data into a form suitable for communicating over radio waves, a spread spectrum modulator for spread spectrum processing the data, and a transmitter for transmitting the spread spectrum processed converted data from the PCN-base station to a PCN unit.

Abstract: A cap comprising of a cover (2) and a tubular body (1) for use on an aerosol can (5). The tubular body (1), fitted onto the aerosol can (5), contains a perpendicular bar (10), horizontal bar (6), ducts (30) to release the contents on the can. To activate the ejection valve stem (14), a lever mechanism is incorporated in the cover which can be disposed in an open and close position. In the open position, the upper portion of the cover (26) depressed, activates the ejection valve stem (14), releasing the contents. When upper portion of cover is moved to a close position, it is not possible to accidentally activate the ejection valve stem. Audible sound is created when the cover reaches the open and close position.

Abstract: A spread spectrum receiver with filters matched to transmitter chip codes are implemented in digital circuits along with a digital circuit for acquisition and tracking of the arrival times of the chip codes. The digital circuit implementations are used for the noncoherent demodulation of pulse position spread spectrum modulation signals where the pulse is a carrier modulator by a chip code and for the noncoherent demodulation of multiple chip code modulation signals where each information symbol is represented by one of several chip codes modulating a carrier.

Abstract: An educational device employing a game situation to teach preventive health care concepts to the family. The educational device generally includes a playing board apparatus having a plurality of spaces defining a travel path, a plurality of playing pieces, and a chance device for determining the advancement of the playing pieces along the travel path. Also included are health problem squares, preventive health care squares, a match card, question-answer cards, score point cards, penalty point cards, preventive health care certificates, water boy squares, and direction squares. The Health Game simulates a real life situation where players are confronted with health problems. The health problems acquired by the players may be overcome by possessing the appropriate preventive health care certificate.

Abstract: A method for establishing cryptographic communications comprising the steps of: generating a first key-encryption-key signal; transforming, using a public-key-encryption algorithm, the first key-encryption-key signal to a first ciphertext signal; generating a second key-encryption-key signal; transforming, using the public-key-encryption algorithm, the second key-encryption-key signal to a second ciphertext signal; decoding, using the public-key-decryption algorithm, the first ciphertext signal and the second ciphertext signal, thereby generating the first key-encryption-key signal and the second key-encryption-key signal; transforming, using a secret-key-encryption algorithm, the first key-encryption-key signal and the second key-encryption-key signal to a third ciphertext signal; and decoding, using a secret-key-decryption algorithm and the first key-encryption-key signal, the third ciphertext signal thereby generating the second key-encryption-key signal.
