  • Patent number: 7607668
Abstract: A caster-camber plate assembly has a fastener plate including fastening members. A lower adjustment plate has a first side face positioned adjacent a first side face of the fastener plate such that fastening members of the fastening plate extend therethrough. The lower adjustment plate is moveable with respect to the fastener plate along first and second translation axes. An upper adjustment plate has a first side face thereof positioned adjacent a second side face of the lower adjustment plate with the fastening members extending therethrough. The upper adjustment plate and the lower adjustment plate are jointly configured for allowing the upper adjustment plate to be moveable with respect to the fastener plate along the second translation axis. A plate interlocking structure accommodates relative movement between the adjustment plates along the first translation axis and effectively inhibits relative movement between the adjustment plates along the second translation axis.

  • Patent number: 7559359
Abstract: A well drilling head comprises a housing and a bearing assembly. The housing has a sidewall structure defining a central bore. The bearing assembly includes an outer barrel, an inner barrel, bearing units and a preload force exerting member. The outer barrel has a central bore and the inner barrel is removably seated within the housing central bore. The bearing units are coupled between the barrels for providing concentric alignment of the barrels and allowing rotation therebetween. A first one of the bearing units is configured for carrying loads exerted radially between the barrels and a second one of the bearing units is configured for carrying loads exerted longitudinally between the barrels. The preload force exerting member maintains force on the longitudinal load carrying bearing unit and said barrels thereby preloading the longitudinal load carrying bearing unit.

  • Patent number: 7552558
Abstract: A targeting apparatus for a gun comprises a mirror assembly, a mounting base and a sighting device. The mirror assembly includes a single utilized mirror having a target imaging surface. The mounting base has the mirror assembly moveably attached thereto. The single utilized mirror is movable between a sighting device use position thereof with respect to the mounting base and a mirror use position thereof with respect to the mounting base. The sighting device is attached to the mirror assembly. The sighting device includes a sighting member configured for being aligned with a mating alignment member of a companion sighting device when the single utilized mirror is in the sighting device used position thereby enabling precision aiming through combined use of said sighting devices. The sighting member is independently adjustable for windage and for elevation.

  • Patent number: 7481167
Abstract: A high-pressure fixed munition for a low-pressure launching system having a cylindrical body with a centrally located bore is provided. The bore of the munition has a reduced diameter on the charge end in which a primer charge is positioned. The bore is filled above the primer charge with a propellant and above the propellant with a payload. The payload may include multiple buckshot pellets, frangible buckshot pellets, tear gas, multiple slugs, frangible slugs, paint balls, rubber pellets, bean bags, or the like. The munition may also include a pressure disk between the propellant and the payload, and tactile ridges or on the outside surface of the munition body or be of a specific color for purposes of identification of the payload.

  • Patent number: 7472520
Abstract: A building block arrangement configured for constructing residential, industrial and commercial structures comprises a first layer of building blocks and a second layer of building blocks. The first layer of building blocks includes two spaced apart rows of building blocks whereby a space is provided between adjacent side faces of the building blocks of the first layer. The second layer of building blocks includes two spaced apart rows of building blocks whereby a space is provided between adjacent side faces of the building blocks of the second layer. The space includes communicative horizontal and vertical portions such that that the space at least partially isolates an interior wall portion from an exterior wall portion. The second layer of building blocks is positioned on top of the first layer of building blocks. The second layer of building blocks spans across at least a portion of the space in the first layer of building blocks.

  • Patent number: 7416021
Abstract: A stripper rubber comprising a resilient stripper rubber body, an insert support, and a plurality of stripper rubber inserts. The resilient stripper rubber body has a drillstring bore extending therethrough. The insert support is at least partially within the body. The insert support includes a central opening generally aligned with the drillstring bore thereby allowing a drillstring to pass jointly through the central opening and the drillstring bore. The plurality of stripper rubber inserts are each at least partially disposed within the body. The inserts are arranged in a side-by-side manner around the drillstring bore with a first end portion thereof pivotably engaged with the insert support. Each one of the inserts is offset from the drillstring bore for precluding the inserts from being exposed from within the body at the drillstring bore.

  • Patent number: 7416226
Abstract: A system for connecting a stripper rubber to drilling head equipment comprises an adapter, a stripper rubber insert and a pin assembly. The adapter includes a primary bore, a groove extending around the primary bore, drill head equipment engaging structure adjacent the primary bore, and a pin assembly housing. The stripper rubber insert includes a vertically-upstanding flange configured for being engaged within the adapter groove. The flange includes a pin receptacle and the flange cooperatively mates with the adapter groove such that the pin receptacle is alignable with the pin assembly housing. The pin assembly is housed in the pin assembly housing of the adapter. The pin assembly includes a pin movably mounted for being selectively engagable with the pin receptacle for securing the stripper rubber insert to the adapter when the flange is engaged within the adapter groove with the pin receptacle suitably aligned with the pin.

  • Patent number: 7380610
Abstract: A high-pressure stripper rubber provides inserts and support members that cooperatively support the profile of the rubber against elastic deformation. The inserts dynamically cooperate to resist elastic deformation of the rubber due to down hole pressure. The stripper rubber has a generally cylindrical upper moiety and a dynamic, generally frusto-conical, lower moiety, that cooperatively define a bore for receiving oilfield equipment. A generally ring-shaped adapter insert, at least partially within the stripper rubber, is disposed toward the upper moiety for attaching the stripper rubber to drilling head equipment. A structural retention insert assembly provides (1) one or more support members proximately and movably attached to the adapter insert, and (2) one or more structural retention inserts at least partially within the stripper rubber and distally attached to the one or more support members.
