Patent number: 8117804Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for producing a high burst slider zipper which allows for bottom filling of reclosable packages, such as large bags, and further provides increased resistance to damage from the dropping or shock loading of the filled package. This is achieved by providing a peel seal or other frangible or separable connection between the zipper profiles, and by sealing a portion of one of the flanges to itself by a hard seal above the peel seal. This causes the external forces on a bag from bottom filling or shock loading to be directed toward the hard seal and further directed so as to cause a shear force against the peel seal, thereby increasing the resistance of the package to external forces.Type: GrantFiled: November 23, 2009Date of Patent: February 21, 2012Assignee: Illinois Tool Works Inc.Inventors: David J. Anzini, Rusty Koenigkramer, Clifton R. Howell, Steven Ausnit

Patent number: 8107468Abstract: A conventional technology does not show that the number of middle stage switches is minimized on a non-blocking condition of a multisource and possible multicast Clos type network, and it becomes a high cost system. Further, no addition or deletion of a connection can be done without a data loss. It is an object to provide, as a means for solving the problems, a multisource and multicast possible Clos type network based on such a technology that the number of middle stage switches is minimized on a non-blocking condition and that addition/deletion of a connection to a existing multicast tree can be carried out without a data loss, so that the network can be operated at low cost without a data loss.Type: GrantFiled: November 6, 2007Date of Patent: January 31, 2012Assignee: Media Global Links Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yuanyuan Yang, Takashi Oguma

Patent number: 8104980Abstract: A projection is provided in a roller holder. Accordingly, in a state wherein the roller holder is pressed against a supporting board to make a platen roller come in close contact with a thermal head, a cassette presses the roller holder through the projection in a process of loading the cassette inside a cassette loading portion. As a result, the roller holder moves in a biasing direction (direction from inward to outward of the cassette loading portion), causing the roller holder to move away from the supporting board. Thus, even if a state is maintained wherein the platen roller adhered to the thermal head and the roller holder is kept pressed against the supporting board, the roller holder can be separated from the supporting board when the cassette is loaded up.Type: GrantFiled: January 7, 2009Date of Patent: January 31, 2012Assignee: Brother Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Susumu Murata

Patent number: 8096716Abstract: If a top cover 5 has been opened, a link lever 34 is moved backward in conjunction with the motion of the top cover 5, so that a release lever 51 is rotated clockwise as seen from the left side about a level shaft 50. Also, a release gear 49 and a release shaft 48 are rotated about 180° counterclockwise as seen from the left side, via a lever gear 52. Accordingly, a head supporting member 37 is rotated downward, resisting an urging force of a pressing spring 36, so that a thermal head 32 is separated from a platen roller 35 and entry of a roll sheet 3A becomes possible through an insertion port 26.Type: GrantFiled: June 20, 2008Date of Patent: January 17, 2012Assignee: Brother Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Shinji Kobayashi, Akira Sago, Takehiko Inaba, Keiji Seo, Atsushi Kasugai
