  • Patent number: 7972158
Abstract: An RF plug connector having a plug head on which a sliding sleeve is seated which can be rotated, can be moved axially and clasps a radially elastic collet (4) in such a manner that the sliding sleeve compresses the collet radially in the coupled state, the design can be considerably simplified in comparison to that of known plug connectors of this generic type, to be precise by the collet (4) being arranged such that it cannot be moved axially on the plug head. For connection to a coupler with an external thread, the collet (4) has internal profiling on the plug side, in particular an internal thread with a pitch which is not the same as that of the external thread of the coupler.

  • Patent number: 7964542
Abstract: Liquid compositions containing a specific hindered phenol or a hindered phenol in combination with an aromatic phosphite are provided which are used as a thermal interface between a heatsink and a chip during a test procedure for electronic components which compositions enhance the thermal conductivity between the heatsink and the chip, are easily removed from the heatsink and the chip after the test procedure without any deleterious residue and which allow the use of high temperatures for extended periods during the test procedure without any significant degradation of the composition. A method for using the compositions in electronic component test procedures such as burn-in procedures is also provided.

  • Patent number: 7963829
Abstract: A dehider includes a pneumatic motor driving a pair of disk blades in opposed cutting oscillations and a governor that controls the speed of the motor. Governor balls, acting as centrifugal weights, spin with the motor and push against an inclined flange on a valve head to move the valve head towards a valve seat. The motion of the valve head compresses a biasing spring and restricts the flow of pressurized air as the desired speed is exceeded. As speed decreases, centrifugal force decreases and the biasing spring opens the valve to provide additional power to the motor. The disk blades are provided with a cylindrical central lip that substantially increases the area of the central bearing that the blades turn on and produces significantly longer blade life.

  • Patent number: 7959520
Abstract: A golf putter includes a pair of aiming arms at each end of the putter head having opposite and inward facing arcuate surfaces corresponding to the outline of a golf hole. The aiming arms may be removed manually or may be made to pivot. In the latter, each arm is pivotally connected at opposing ends of the putter head and adapted to pivot about an axis between a forward aiming position and a second position away from the forward aiming position. Control of the rotation of the aiming arms may be by a lever operable from the putter shaft, or by a spring actuated by pushing downward on the putter shaft.

  • Patent number: 7946633
Abstract: A roller pin of the type mounted on a tie bar that slides to drive the roller pin into engagement with a keeper of a casement window includes an inner pin and an outer roller. The outer roller includes an integral outer flange that is circular and spins with the outer roller to reduce friction during engagement with keeper. The inner pin includes an offset mounting pin at one end and is enlarged at the other end to hold the outer roller on the inner pin. The enlarged end of the inner pin is flush with the outer flange and is provided with a recessed opening that receives a tool, such as a screwdriver, to rotate the inner pin and adjust its position relative to the tie bar and a keeper. The invention is also directed to a tie bar and multiple roller pins in combination.

  • Patent number: 7949422
Abstract: A machine tool control system. A machine tool controller is provided to receive commands from an input source and provide control instructions to a machine tool based at least in part on the commands. An operator interface is provided for inputting commands to the controller. The interface includes a display screen having images of individual command functions, the images being selectable on the screen to place into a sequence of command functions selected by an operator. A sequence generator indicates sequential ordering of the command functions represented by the sequence of images on the screen, such that a sequence of images on the screen selected by the operator is translated by the operator controller sequence generator into a sequence of commands to be inputted into the controller. The operator interface may include one or more images each representing a plurality of individual command functions in a defined sequence.

  • Patent number: 7921390
Abstract: Existing text output from a design rule checker is put in appropriate input format, and automatically displayed as text within a design tool using existing design tool capabilities, such as highlighting, zooming, and drawing box-regions. A graphical display of the output of the rule checker includes the informative text. Design rule violations are listed in a manner in which they can be individually selected. The output is displayed on a unique software program layer within the design tool so as to not effect or make any permanent changes to the original design file. The layers can be safely deleted when no longer in use.

  • Patent number: 7912923
Abstract: A solution is presented to keep track of the URLs that have been visited within an HTML file, identify the location or exit point of the last line that was displayed on a screen in a multi-screen HTML file, and return to the exact exit point location upon reentry to the web page by computing which section of the HTML file to display on the screen, and then displaying this section. The identification of whether a web page has changed after it has been visited by a user is also presented. A cyclic redundancy check is performed, comparing the current cyclic redundancy number with the last cyclic redundancy number obtained when the screen of exited multi-screen HTML file was last visited. If the web page has changed, the user has the option of viewing the web page at the top screen or going to the screen that contains the last exit position of the HTML file that was previously viewed.

  • Patent number: 7905742
Abstract: The invention relates to a coaxial plug for connecting to a high-frequency transmission line. The housing of the coaxial plug has two slits arranged opposite each other, extending from the plug-side end in the axial direction, and both arranged and designed to form an axial abutment for receiving a BNC pin. A latching fork is arranged on the housing with two latching prongs tangentially overlapping an axial slit of the housing between the abutment and the plug-side end. Each BNC pin is held between a latching prong and an abutment of the axial slit, creating a locked connection between the coaxial plug and the BNC coaxial socket. The latching fork is pivotably arranged between a locking position in which the latching prongs tangentially overlap the axial slits, and a clearing position in which the latching prongs clear the axial slits over the entire length thereof.

  • Patent number: 7905522
Abstract: An exit device for latching a door in tornado-prone areas keeps the door closed when the door is subjected to tornado debris impact by incorporating a blocking arm that swings outward away from the door as impact energy is transferred through the door to the blocking arm in the exit device. The blocking arm prevents a pushbar actuator from moving towards the door during impact or rebound which would allow the door to open. The blocking arm is biased close to the door in a non-blocking position where it initially receives the transferred impact energy. During the impact event the blocking arm rapidly rotates on a pivot from the non-blocking position to a blocking position away from the door. After the impact event, the blocking arm returns to the non-blocking position so that the exit device operates normally.

  • Patent number: 7900978
Abstract: A return spring assembly for returning a handle to the horizontal orientation includes a spring housing having an outer flange that contacts an outer surface of a door around the perimeter of a bored opening and an inner portion with a curved section that securely supports a latchbolt lock mechanism when an identical return spring assembly is installed on an opposite side of the door. A spring is driven by two spring drivers operating with a lost motion connection to the handle spindle to alternately compress the spring from opposite directions as the handle is rotated in opposite directions. The spring is positioned to not interfere with a linkage extending out from the latchbolt lock mechanism.

  • Patent number: 7900809
Abstract: A method for assembling, and the resultant electronic module, includes attaching a chip to a substrate using a first solder interconnection array, and attaching a board to the substrate using a second solder interconnection array, which may be a single-melt or a dual-melt solder array. The second solder interconnection array resides entirely within a space defined between the board and substrate. A creep resistant structure is provided within this space for maintaining the defined space and optimizing integrity of the second solder interconnection array. The creep resistant structure may include an underfill material, balls, brackets, frames, collars or combinations thereof. Wherein the creep resistant structure is an underfill material, it is crucial that the substrate be attached to the board before either entirely encapsulating the second interconnection array with underfill material, or partially encapsulating the second solder interconnection array at discrete locations with underfill material.
