A reinforced element including an upward extension, an improved shear key and stacked arrangement are also disclosed.
Abstract: The invention concerns a pot or cup-shaped carrier (10) for carbon brushes (12), especially intended for servomotors, comprising an inner wall, such as a bottom wall, originating from the carrier perimeter wall, and interspersed by the commutator or by a shaft originating therefrom, wherein each carbon brush is acted upon via a plate spring (14) in the direction of a commutator that is interspersed by the carrier.
Abstract: A method of interconnecting the front and rear wheels in two-wheeled vehicles and a vehicle produced in accordance with the method is characterized in that, in order to prevent opposing couples being generated in the respective wheels and acting on the steering column of the vehicle, bringing about disequilibrium thereof, the steering column is dispensed with and a module attached to the rotation axle of the front wheel is connected to an upwardly inclined member which is further extended downwardly and is articulated at its other end to an end of a transverse bar for connection to the rear wheel of the vehicle, this rear wheel taking part in deflections which the steerable wheel may perform.
Abstract: A rotational angle sensor detects a rotational angle of a rotary member based on a magnet field produced across the rotary member by a pair of magnets. At least one magnetic detection device is disposed within a holder and serves to detect the magnetic field and to output a signal representing the rotational angle of the rotary member. For example, the holder may be mounted to a fixed place. A printed circuit board is coupled to the holder and is electrically connected to the at least one magnetic detection device. A positioning device serves to position the at least one magnetic detection device in a predetermine position relative to the holder.
Abstract: A poison resistant combustible gas sensing element, a method for its production and a method for determining poisoning of the element. The element includes an electric heating element, an inner layer coated on the electric heating element and containing a precious metal catalyst supported on a porous oxide, the precious metal catalyst catalyzing combustion of a combustible gas to be detected by the element, and an outer layer overlaying the first layer, and containing a catalytic compound capable of trapping gases which poison the precious metal catalyst, the catalytic compound being supported on a porous oxide.

Abstract: An oil pan (6) is mounted to a lower surface of a cylinder block (1) in order to reserve an oil. An oil pump housing (7) is cast integrally with the inner side of the right side surface (6a) of the oil pan (6). A rib (14) is formed in order to connect the right side surface (6a) and a left side surface (6b) of the oil pan (6).
Abstract: A milling head is provided having a basic body and cutting inserts which can be adjusted in the basic body in recesses and are clamped down by a clamping element which is disposed in the recesses.

Abstract: A tire monitoring system with a wireless setting capability includes a wireless controller and a plurality of tire status sensors each tire status sensor is composed a sensing and processing unit having an unique tire serial number, a second low frequency transceiver and an RE transmitter. The wireless controller has a first low frequency transceiver and stores a plurality of tire serial numbers representing different wheel positions. The wireless controller outputs a control signal including a reset command and a new tire serial number to a specific tire status sensor. The sensing and processing unit will be reset and replace the tire serial number when the tire status sensor receives the control signal.
Abstract: A throttle control device includes a throttle body that defines an intake air channel. A motor is coupled to a throttle shaft. As the motor is driven, the throttle valve rotates to open and close the intake air channel. A detection device serves to detect a degree of opening of the throttle valve and includes a pair of magnets and a sensor. The magnets are mounted to the throttle shaft via a magnet support and are positioned to oppose each other with respect to a rotational axis of the throttle shaft in order to produce a magnetic field. The sensor is mounted to the throttle body and serves to detect the magnetic field. The sensor comprises a sensing section and a computing section connected to each other. The sensing section may be inclined relative to the computing section in order to form a compact shape.

Abstract: The invention relates to new, inexpensive electropolymers capable of light-induced grafting, onto which specific identification probes can be easily grafted and having optimum capacity for interaction with the target analytes (DNA/DNAc, PNA/PNAc, enzyme/substrate/Antibody/Antigen). These electropolymers capable of light-induced grafting are, for example, poly(pyrrole-benzophenone). Benzophenone forms sites for light-induced grafting. The invention also covers the mono and oligomers which make up these novel electropolymers capable of light-induced grafting. Another object of the invention is the process for their manufacture, as well as electronic biosensors containing these electropolymers capable of being grafted and/or grafted by probes for the analysis of biomolecules.
Abstract: A movement detecting device comprises a container (10), at least a first vibrator (16) which vibrates in accordance with a physical movement in a first direction (X), and a second vibrator (17) which vibrates about a second direction (Z), the first and second vibrators mounted in the container. The vibrations of the first and second vibrators are converted into an electric signal, and a value of the converted signal is shown on a display.
Abstract: The invention relates to a position and/or speed sensor including a mobile target (2) with at least one tooth, a first permanent magnet (5), at least one second permanent magnet (11), and a probe (4) sensitive to the direction and intensity of a magnetic induction, and placed along an axis OZ such that when there is no adjacent tooth, the magnetic induction created by the first magnet passes through the probe along a direction opposite to the direction of magnetization. Magnetic inductions created by the permanent magnets (5, 11) have approximately equal values but in opposite directions, and in the presence of an adjacent tooth, the absolute value of the variation of the magnetic induction detected by the probe (4) is greater than a trip threshold.
