  • Patent number: 6309098
Abstract: A contactless-smart-IC-card receive and read-write mechanism for an on-street parking meter. The mechanism includes a nested cartridge set consisting of a card read-write unit and a card receiver. The card read-write unit further includes an outer case having an induction coil and a circuit board attached to one outer side of the outer case. The card receiver is removably nested in the outer case for an IC card to insert thereinto. The circuit board has different circuits provided thereon for controlling power supply to correctly complete card reading and overwriting. A detecting switch is mounted on the outer case to detect the existence of the IC card in the card receiver. Only when a correct IC card in the receiver is detected will a high frequency power supply circuit be actuated for the card read-write unit to read and overwrite data or amount stored in the IC card. The card read-write unit is not affected by external dust or rainwater to cause error operation.

  • Patent number: 6309122
Abstract: A locating structure for a bounce device in a pen, having a hollow penholder, a locating device, and a center stick. The penholder has an end with a transverse guide groove and a locating hole below the guide groove. The locating hole has a size greater than the guide groove. The locating device has a slide block with a lateral locating hole, a pushbutton with a spring locating at a bottom and received in the locating hole, a slide block inserted into the penholder through the opening. The pushbutton has a stepped end shape providing a slide tenon and a stop ring corresponding to the guide groove and the locating hole respectively, and also providing a stop flange having a size greater than the locating hole. When the pushbutton is pushed to move the slide tenon downward along the guide groove, the spring urges the stop ring to fit with the locating hole. Thus, the slide block has the writing part extend outward from the penholder.

  • Patent number: 6306065
Abstract: Exercising cart structure including a support beam, a front wheel frame and a rear wheel frame. One end of the support beam is connected with the front wheel frame, while the other end of the support beam is reciprocally slidably fitted with the rear wheel frame. Two front wheels and two rear wheels are respectively one-way rotatably mounted at two ends of the wheel shafts of the front and rear wheel frames. In use, a user sits on the seat and holds the handlebar of the front wheel frame with two hands with both feet stepping on two lateral step pads of the front wheel frame. The user's feet first push the front wheel frame forward by a certain distance and then the user's body and hip portion exert a force onto the rear wheel frame to move the same forward relative to the front wheel frame. Therefore, by means of forcing the front and rear wheel frames to alternately separate from and get close to each other, the exercising cart can gradually move forward.

  • Patent number: 6307288
Abstract: A motor has a shaft with a lengthwise through hole in a center, and a guider of a semi-circular shape having plural helical leaves to increase sucking force for gas or liquid, strengthening sucking smoothness. Water current flowing through the water passageway performs heat-dispersing function when the motor operates so as to prolong the service life of the motor. A pressure-dividing ball is placed in front of the guider to divide strong current pressure into several small current pressures to be sucked by the motor to avoid turbulent current and cause idle rotation of the motor to be damaged. Then the motor surely has strong sucking force, smoothness of flowing and its service life effectively prolonged.
