Abstract: The present invention provides a pull-rod computer bag including a bag body, internally defining a hold space; a pull rod, assembled scalably onto one side of the hold space; a roller set, assembled at one corner of the bag body; and a housing cover with a computer hold tank. The housing cover is laterally connected with the bag body, enabling opening and closing and having a faceplate and a peripheral portion, such that the computer hold tank is formed between the faceplate and peripheral portion. A buffer pad is assembled on the faceplate and a retractable side wall is assembled onto the peripheral portion of the housing cover, enabling the peripheral portion to be expanded or reduced with respect to the area. A flexible control member is used to locate the shrinking state of the retractable side wall.

Abstract: The present invention provides a multi-purpose modular unit, including multiple blocks and adapters. The blocks are provided with multiple side faces and embedded tap holes. The adapters are screwed into the corresponding tap holes of two adjacent blocks. With this adapter, the blocks can be interlocked and assembled as furniture, stationery and toys that can be easily assembled or disassembled depending on various configurations and functions.
Abstract: An drainage apparatus for use with the sump of a floating roof tank has a first pipe pivotally connected at one end to an outlet of the sump, a second pipe pivotally connected at one end to an opposite end the first pipe and extending downwardly therefrom, and an outlet pipe pivotally connected to an opposite end of the second pipe. The outlet pipe end extends through the outer wall of the tank. The outlet pipe is offset from the wall of the sump when the roof is positioned adjacent to the floor of the tank. The opposite end of the first pipe is laterally offset from the an end of the second pipe.
Abstract: A cap for an anchorage of a post-tension anchor system has an outer tubular portion having an inner wall and an outer wall, an inner tubular portion having an inner wall and an outer wall, an end wall extending between the outer tubular portion and the inner tubular portion, and a sheathing lock affixed to the inner wall of the inner tubular portion. The inner wall of the outer tubular portion is in spaced relation to the outer wall of the inner tubular portion. The outer tubular portion and the inner tubular portion are concentric with each other. The sheathing lock has a body having locking ribs extending radially inwardly therefrom. The locking ribs extend in parallel relationship to each other. The outer tubular portion and the inner tubular portion and the end wall are integrally formed of a polymeric material.
Abstract: The present invention provides a pneumatic tool enabling sectional adjustment of torsional force, including a main body and a cylinder mounted into the accommodation space of main body. The cylinder is fitted with air vents and also a rotor. A plurality of exhaust holes is arranged at one side of the cylinder tube of the cylinder. An exhaust duct switching member is arranged between the exhaust holes of the cylinder tube and air exhaust duct of the main body and used to switch the airflow for air exhaust by different exhaust holes. The pneumatic tool enables sectional adjustment of its torsional force, thus promoting the torsional force efficiently with better applicability.
Abstract: An apparatus for straightening a coiled tubing has an injector that receives the coiled tubing, a straighter that straightens the coiled tubing from the injector, and a shear that cuts the straightened coiled tubing. The straightener has a frame having a first section rotatably connected to a second section, an actuator connected to the second section, and a straightening wheel connected to the actuator. The injector has a first drive chain and a second drive chain. The first and second drive chains each have semi-circular members forming circular channels that grab an outer surface of the coiled tubing. The shear has a trolley, a clamp, a tubing cutter, a return mechanism, and an automated controller. The automated controller actuates the clamp and the tubing cutter while the trolley translates along rails from a first position to a second position.
Abstract: The invention concerns a continuously variable cone disc transmission with sets of discs mounted on drive and driven shafts. The sets of discs are each hydraulically adjustable axially in their distance from each other whereby the traction train circulating between them is able to adjust to different running circles and thereby enabling a continuously variable transmission. The pressure fluid needed for the hydraulic actuation is supplied to the pressure cylinders by a pump through a control valve. This control valve is actuated hydraulically by a pressure supply that is need-adjusted by a proportional-pressure reduction valve. In the event of a functional failure and consequent loss of the regulating pressure, the control valve is automatically arrested in position, so that the control valve is prevented from giving a command for the sudden change of the transmission ratio into an extreme position.
Abstract: An apparatus and method for storing and using wind energy. The apparatus has a hub, blades extending radially outwardly from the hub, a first shaft interconnected to the hub, a generator connected to the first shaft, a first coupler, a transmission connected to a portion of the first shaft opposite the hub, a second shaft extending from the transmission, a second coupler, a first pulley connected to the second shaft, a second pulley positioned below the first pulley, a line extending around the first and second pulleys, a fluid receptacle affixed to the line, an elevated reservoir positioned adjacent the first pulley, a base reservoir positioned below the second pulley, a pump positioned between the elevated reservoir and the base reservoir, and a control valve connected to the elevated reservoir.
Abstract: An anchorage for post-tension system has an anchor body with an interior passageway, a polymeric encapsulation extending over the anchor body so as to define a trumpet extending outwardly on one side of the anchor body, and an annular seal formed so as to extend inwardly relative to a wall of the trumpet. The annular seal is in liquid-tight sealing relation with an outer surface of a tendon extending through the interior passageway. A fixing element is formed within the interior passageway so as to fix a position of the sheathing on the tendon.
Abstract: An apparatus for fixing the sheathing of an end of a tendon within an anchor body of a post-tension anchor system has an anchor body that has a cavity formed in an interior thereof, a tendon extending into the cavity that has a sheathing extending at least partially thereover and has a sheathed portion and an unsheathed portion, a pair of wedges in engagement with the unsheathed portion of the tendon in the cavity of the anchor body, and at least one wedge member engaged with the sheathed portion. The wedge member has a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is of a generally constant thickness and has an end adjacent the pair of wedges. The second portion has a first end and a second end, the second portion being of a decreasing thickness from the first end to the second end.
Abstract: The invention relates to a musical percussion instrument including a barrel and a membrane, being stretched over at least one of the openings and being in the form of a disc of appropriate material. The membrane has a device to collaborate with a complementary device of the barrel or a support to allow the membrane to be attached to the barrel with the application of tension. This musical instrument is characterized in that the membrane is equipped with devices defined by a series of holes, uniformly distributed at the periphery of the disc and through which a series of ties are intended to be anchored, at least part of the ties being capable of being secured to an element that forms an integral part of the barrel or of a support thereof.

Abstract: A rotating machine, has a rotary component, which includes a memory device for storing data relating to the past use of the component. The data are associated with rotational speed and ambient temperature, which are detected by detectors either on or off the rotary component. The stored data may be the raw temperature and speed data as sampled over time, which are then used to derive values of low-cycle fatigue and creep damage. These fatigue and creep values are, in turn, correlated with the load profiles of the component to arrive at a value of elapsed lifespan for the component. Alternatively, the stored data may be the fatigue and creep values and/or, preferably, values of elapsed and remaining lifespan of the component. In a second embodiment the detectors are located on the machine casing along with an evaluation unit.
