Abstract: The profile-rail system (1) serves for bridging expansion joints. It is held by means of undercut tongue and groove profilings (3, 4) such that it can be held in a click-in arrangement against flooring elements. In order to obtain a width adjustment and an adjustment to movements of the floor covering, the profile-rail system (1) has at least two telescopable profiled rails (5, 6). These profiled rails (5, 6) can be held against the flooring elements (2) exclusively on the end face.
Abstract: A roll of interconnected detachable fabric or cloth sheets provides an environmentally friendly cost effective reusable alternative to disposable paper towels, and nonwoven wipes and mop pads. Each of the sheets includes a front surface and a rear surface. The front surface of one sheet is connected with the rear surface of an adjacent sheet to form the roll by connectors such as male and female hook and loop ribbon sections. The individual sheets can also be used as mop head covers. A dispenser for the sheets includes a spindle for rotatably retaining the roll and a rack for supporting a detached sheet for air drying between uses.
Abstract: An apparatus (1) serves for linear illumination of a moving product web (6), the apparatus (1) having at least one light source (4) emitting light. In order to achieve high luminance in a linear subregion of the product web (6), at least a portion of the light emitted by the light source (4) is reflected towards the product web (6) by at least one tubular reflector (5). The tubular reflector (5) in this case has at least one light exit slit (7) which is assigned to the product web (6). Moreover, the tubular reflector has at least one observation slit (8) which lies opposite the light exit slit (7). The illuminated product web (6) can be observed through this observation slit (8) by means of a line camera (2).

Abstract: The ability of a person to grasp an object and at the same time to feel, as well as to determine mechanical and geometric parameters of the comprehended object, makes him or her irreplaceable for many tasks, i.e. in production or in surgery. The translation of this ability into a technological system has often failed up to now due to lack of special adjusted sensors. The object of this invention is a sensory device, which fulfills the requirements for a tactile sensor system and at the same time affords a cost-effective and simple manufacturing alternative to other sensor principles. The layer structure of the sensor element is so constructed that by effect of an external force of the current by a resistive layer a path is disposed to narrowing or enlargement. The voltage drop over this resistive layer is dependent upon the acting external force and serves as signal sensor.
