Abstract: A profiled rail system (1) is used for bridging floorcovering transitions, ends or staircase edges. The profiled rail system (1) has a base profile (2) and a covering profile (3). The base profile (2) has at least one vertical leg (6), on which an inner shell (9) of a rotary joint (10) is provided. This rotary joint (10) supports the covering profile (3) such that it can be pivoted. For this purpose, two webs (11) oriented downward are provided on the covering profile (3) and, in order to form an outer shell of the rotary joint (10), have at least two partly cylindrical inner contours (12) which lie one above another. These inner contours (12) are formed so as to match the inner shell (9) of the rotary joint (10). In this way, step by step adjustability of the covering profile (3) is implemented. The rotary joint (10) can be clicked as desired into respectively one of the partly cylindrical inner contours (12).
Abstract: The dispenser includes an enclosure for holding a plurality of paper rolls in stacked, substantially vertical relation. The front wall of the enclosure has an opening through which a paper roll may move to exit the enclosure. A tray is provided for retaining a paper roll as it moves through the exit opening. A section of the rear wall is inclined to guide a paper roll through the exit opening and into the retaining tray. A removable divider is provided to convert the dispenser for use with different size paper rolls. Brackets for rotatably mount a paper roll extend from the bottom of the enclosure for dispensing individual sheets. Removable decorative panels are provided for mounting proximate the front and side walls. The dispenser may be supported on a horizontal surface by the bottom, suspended from a vertical surface or hung from a door. Openings in the walls permit observation of the number of papers rolls remaining in the enclosure.

Abstract: A knife sharpener comprising a sharpening device preferably of the type involving upwardly extending pairs of overlapping, resiliently flexible fingers or strips forming opposed abrasive sharpening faces, provided with a pair of shields respectively operative between closed positions in which they cover and protecting the sharpening device and open positions in which they respectively provide a handhold for the device and protect the hand of the user when it is on the handhold, and preferably provided with locking means moveable between a first position engaging said shields and retaining them in said closed position and a second position releasing said shields from their closed positions and extending out from said assembly to provide protection for the hand of the user.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for providing access paths to data within a database, in particular using REBIND for DB2, wherein real time database statistics are determined using a database integrated monitor, wherein the database statistics are output substantially in real time using the database integrated status monitor, and wherein the database statistics from the integrated monitor are used to initiate generation of data set statistics, and to determine the access paths.
