Abstract: A motion detecting system is attachable to an object for enabling and disabling an alarm flow of electrical current from a power source for actuating an alarm device. The system has a back plate with a substantially flat surface and a magnet freely pivotally mounted thereupon for generating a pivoting magnetic field that pivots with magnet in response to a motion of the object or of the system itself. System is set in an armed state by an electric pulse which causes at least one electrical contact is engaged by magnetic field in a first state to be set as an armed contact. When motion occurs, magnetic field pivots with magnet and armed contact in first state enters second state in which alarm flow is enabled for actuating alarm device. Contacts are spaced such that at least one contact is always engageable in first state.

Abstract: An order merging system includes two first case guides with a pair of twisted lanes. The case guides are downwardly sloped and guide a product case along in each case guide. Two raisable guides are connected downstream of the case guides and are in communication with them. Two other case guides in communication with the raisable guides, which are lowered to allow the product cases from the first case guides to merge onto the other case guides.

Abstract: A refrigerated water pumping system provides high-pressure refrigerated water to misting nozzles situated in a livestock enclosure for housing livestock and adapted for converting the high-pressure refrigerated water into a fine mist or fog of water droplets at a target water temperature for evaporation in the enclosure to provide cooling of the enclosure to a target enclosure temperature. The system comprises a pump and a post-pumping heat exchanger, with the water being pumped by pump into high-pressure water. The high-pressure water is subsequently refrigerated into high-pressure refrigerated water having the target temperature by absorption of a target heat from the water by a refrigerant in the post-pumping heat exchanger, including any heat absorbed by water during pumping in pump.

Abstract: A portable electronic musical device has a keyboard disposed in a housing connected to a strap and a support plate connected thereto for suspension of housing by strap on shoulders of a person while housing is simultaneously supported on waist of person to allow person to easily move from one geographical position to another while playing instrument. Housing is pivotally connected to support plate by at least one member defining an axis around which housing is rotatable to playing of instrument and to facilitate viewing of hands of person and keys of keyboard while user is playing instrument. To further facilitate playing of instrument and visibility of hands and keys housing is curved with keyboard generally aligned therewith.

Abstract: An isolated dual power source system for isolating a first power source of a vehicle, connected to an engine starter, from a second power source of the vehicle which has an electrical circuit for distributing electrical power among the consumers, includes first and second switches for selectively connecting the first and second power sources to the electrical circuit, respectively. The system may include a controller that independently and operatively connects to the first and second switches to control operation thereof for selective and respective isolation from the electrical circuit. A third switch connecting the second power source to the starter may be used to selectively provide power thereto and bypass the first power source to start the engine.

Abstract: An alternate package flip-over device includes an intermittently operable primary conveyor feeding batches of packages to a continuously operating secondary conveyor, and a flap for routing the batches to either a flip-over mechanism or to an intermediate transfer conveyor, the successive batches from the transfer conveyor and the mechanism rejoining on a merging conveyor, alternate batches having been flipped in the mechanism.

Abstract: A stripping device for stripping a waste piece from a sheet of material, which includes a stripping member with a connecting portion, a supporting finger located on one side of the connecting portion, and a stripping finger located on another side of the connecting portion. The supporting finger has one end connected to a frame and is movable about its end with respect to the frame. The stripping finger has a stripping end portion, which is biased away from the supporting finger and contacts the waste piece at an angle. The supporting finger is deflected away from the waste piece and the stripping end portion is moved further away from the supporting finger and against the waste piece to strip it from the sheet.

Abstract: The invention relates to a watch housing comprising a body made in two parts (2, 3), connected one to the other. The one of the two parts (2) guarantees the function of a watch whilst the second part (3), connected to the bracelet, comprises means for attachment of an interchangeable module (M). Said module (M) is extended by an elastic tongue (20) and security means are provided to ensure that the tongue (20) is supported on the first part (2) whilst subjecting the above to a permanent force maintaining the same in the open position.

Abstract: A liquid fuel lamp for burning fuel comprises a plurality of wicks. The lamp has a fuel tank for initially receiving the liquid fuel, a plurality of reservoirs, each holding a wick, and at least one conduit. The conduit is in fluid communication with at least one respective reservoir and the fuel tank, and carries the liquid fuel by way of gravitational force to the reservoir, with which the reservoir forms a housing for the wick. Thus, fuel may distributed to all reservoirs and wicks from a central tank into which fuel is deposited.

Abstract: A runner assembly housing a blade for an ice skateboard and rotatably connected to a truck assembly mounted to a bottom board surface thereof has an elastic biasing cord connecting a an elongate body housing a blade to the truck assembly or the skateboard for biasing the body towards a neutral position in which the blade is substantially parallel to the bottom board surface of the ice skateboard and faces away therefrom. The runner assembly has through openings defining body channels on opposing body ends of the body and through which the biasing cord extends when connected to the body ends, the biasing cord having protrusions for holding the biasing cord in the body channels. The biasing cords are releasably snappably connectable to the body ends by snappingly introducing the biasing cord into the body channels through open neck sections extending into the body channels.
