  • Patent number: 7461943
Abstract: This invention relates to garden lights, and more specifically toward garden lights using light emitting diodes to emit light through one or more fiber optic elements that are housed inside of a transparent tube. The fiber optic elements can be of various lengths, providing light that exits the fiber optic elements at different locations along the length of the transparent tube. Further, the light emitting diodes can be of different colors, rendering a pleasing effect of light in intensity, color, and location.

  • Patent number: 7413200
Abstract: A skateboard truck with a single kingpin assembly mechanism with a compressible single bushing with a graduated coefficient of compressibility and built-in cam stops. The truck allows for superior rotation of the wheels due to the single kingpin assembly, which presents an improvement over the prior king-pin and bolt, as there is less stress on the moving parts, the danger of wheel-bite is reduced, and a tighter steering angle can be maintained. The axle hanger is reversible to allow a user to change the height of the skateboard deck from the surface. Because it is made from fewer parts, the truck is simpler to construct, take apart and repair, and can be made less expensively than traditional trucks.

  • Patent number: 7411504
Abstract: This invention is directed toward a series of devices designed to scare away Great Blue Herons, raccoons, and other common koi pond predators through a combination of a motion detection system which triggers an auditory and/or movement response from a variety of common enemies of koi pond predators and fanciful creatures intended to frighten koi predators. The invention teaches the combination of the motion detector with the koi predator enemy replica, such that a koi pond user can economically and efficiently protect his/her pond without adversely impacting the visual appeal of a koi pond.

  • Patent number: 7398639
Abstract: The invention provides a lawn cutting device utilizing high-tech, lightweight bicycle parts, low-friction bearing assemblies, air-filled bicycle-type tires and a double-overdrive gearing system. The device has a body portion, handlebar, a blade assembly, and a variety of combination of wheel gears, gear rings, and chains, which result in a device which a blade assembly which moves at extremely rapid speeds, powered by the rotation of the wheels. Because of its reliance on low-friction bearings, a minimal amount of force exerted on the wheels is transformed in an extremely efficient manner into the rotation of the blade assembly, resulting in an environmentally friendly, energy efficient cutting device that avoids the pollution, inefficiency, and strain associated with traditional gas, electric, and human-powered lawnmowers.
