Abstract: A cabinet wherein air sucked from an inlet opening 4d of a shelf board combined inlet duct 4 by drive of an air purification unit 3 is passed through the shelf board combined inlet duct 4 and introduced into the inside of a case 3a, and by a dust collection filter 32 and an odor eliminating means 33. Air forced into the shelf board combined outlet duct 5 through the air duct 10 is exhausted through an outlet opening 5d of the shelf board combined outlet duct 5, and air curtain is formed along the opening of the storage section 11 of a cabinet 1. Therefore, air in the storage section 11 of the cabinet 1 is circulated and purified, while getting caught in a circulating airflow including the air curtain.
Abstract: A number of embodiments of rotating electrical machines and methods for winding them that provides a high space utilization and very effective winding with less likelihood of damage to the insulation of the wire of the winding during the winding process. The arrangement basically does not require the winding needle to be moved back and forth in the slot between the poles but rather employs insulating inserts that are positioned on the axial faces of the poles outside of the gaps for guiding the wire from one end to the other so as to provide the high space utilization. In one embodiment the insulating insert effectively changes the circumferential length of the coil winding that decreases in an axial direction along their length.
Abstract: A pivoting arrangement for connecting an actuator to the outboard drive portion of a marine propulsion unit and more particularly to an arrangement for strengthening the pivotal connection without significantly increasing its size and by simplifying its construction to reduce cost.
Abstract: A number of embodiments of rotating electrical machines using permanent magnets wherein the cogging torque is substantially reduced as are vibrations caused by magnetic flux variations. This is accomplished by disposing the coil windings in equal circumferential spacing and disposing the associated permanent magnets in non-symmetrical relationship so that the gaps between some of the magnets are different. In addition, the coil windings are such that no two coils of any phase are immediately adjacent each other in a circumferential direction. A method for calculating the optimum spacing is also disclosed.
Abstract: A spring seat is formed of an outer spring seat 10k and an inner spring seat 10j formed in a stepped-down shape so as to be positioned lower than the outer spring seat 10k, and a valve spring is formed of an outer spring 37 and an inner spring 36 that is disposed coaxially inside the outer spring 37 and that is larger in spring length than the outer spring 37.
Abstract: An engine speed control that avoid undesirable transmission conditions such as clutch chattering. This is done by sensing actual conditions, which are likely to result in the undesirable transmission conditions such as clutch chattering and only changing the engine output when these exact conditions are found. The conditions sensed are the determination of excessive acceleration in engine speed or in the speed of a shaft associated with the engine or the degree of rotational variation or rotational acceleration.
Abstract: An improved synchronous electric motor incorporating a stator and large current terminal unit made into a single unit with solidified molding resin thus a separate casing is unnecessary and thus the constitution is simplified. The large current terminal unit and a magnetic pole position detector are located on opposite sides of the stator, with the former mounted on one end of the shaft of a cooperating rotor and with the other on the other end of the rotor shaft, and they are fixed in solidified molding resin to form a single body.
Abstract: An improved crankcase ventilation system including an improved blow-by gas separator wherein it will be insured that oil cannot accumulate in the separator chamber under any running conditions so that the oil is totally precluded from being able to pass into the induction system.

Abstract: An improved high pressure intermeshing gear pump that achieves high efficiency and a low cost by forming the pumping cavity such that no fillets exist at the corners permitting closed fits without utilizing bearing end plates. In addition an improved coupling between the gears and their supporting shafts is disclosed as is a simplified machining method that eliminates burrs that may be formed during the drilling operations.
Abstract: Two embodiments of very simple by highly effective antitheft devices for use in small vehicles such as motor scooters, personal watercraft or other forms of watercraft. Each system employs a removable component which also functions as a display and which disables the operation of the prime mover of the vehicle. The removed component can be carried by the user and reinserted when he desires to again operate the vehicle.
Abstract: A semiconductor chip mounted on a substrate having a soldering land pattern for containing a molten solder interposed between said conductive surface and a facing surface of the semiconductor chip. The soldering land pattern comprises corners spaced respectively from the four corners of the semiconductor chip bottom surface and escapes formed between the corners sufficiently outside of the respective sides of the semiconductor chip bottom surface to accept liquid solder displaced from the area between the conductive surface and the facing surface of the semiconductor chip upon placing the semiconductor chip within the soldering land pattern to improve conductivity and simplify the construction. The device is also shown in a motor control.
Abstract: Two embodiments of tilt mounting attachments for mounting outboard drives on the transom of a watercraft. In each embodiment, the structure is simplified from the prior art and the number of components reduced. Thus, the unit can be made lighter in weight without sacrificing strength and the cost of assembly is substantially reduced.
