Abstract: A non-reusable hypodermic syringe is provided which comprises an elongated cylinder open at one end and substantially closed at the opposite other end. A hollow member is formed on the other end, which hollow end defines an internal duct communicating with the interior of the cylinder. The hollow member is configured and dimensioned to have a hypodermic needle affixed to it. The syringe plunger is comprised of a substantially rigid shaft and a resilient piston releasably attached to a first end of the shaft member. The piston fits into the interior of the cylinder in longitudinally sliding, frictional sealing engagement therewith. An engagement member is positioned on the piston member, and a retention member is positioned on the interior wall of the cylinder adjacent to, but spaced from the other end of the cylinder.
Abstract: This invention relates to an air manifold having a plurality of apertures communicating with each other interiorally of the air manifold, wherein one of the apertures is adapted to communicate with a compressed air source, and the other apertures are adapted to selectively receive either closing means for maintaining the compressed air source interiorally of the manifold or compressed air conduits for communication with the compressed air source.
Abstract: A break away clip releasably engageable with a wall depending from a swimming pool coping where the wall has a raised rib, and an edge of a pool cover where the edge has a retaining groove, the clip presenting in cross-section a pair of spaced apart legs adapted to releasably embrace the depending wall, the legs are connected at one end and one of the legs includes a retaining groove between the legs which is adapted to receive the rib presented by the depending wall of the swimming pool coping, the clip including a channel presenting a lip releasably engageable with the retaining groove of the edge of the pool cover.
Abstract: The "PURIFIED COFFEE AND ICE WATER DISPENSER" replaces the standard kitchen sink taps. The tap water is directed to a flow director at the base of the spout which adjusts to allow the flow to either run trough a water filter or through the spout directly into the sink. When the tap water is directed through the water filter it fills a pre-heated water reservoir depending on the direction the spout is moved, and is drawn by opening the hot water or cold water spout. Coffee is drawn by adjusting a regulator valve which sends the hot water through a coffee filter and out the hot water spout. The reservoirs are cooled and heated elecrically with thermostats.
